Evenaire Heating & Air Conditioning

I asked Evenaire to come take a look at my AC after another company said that I needed a new system for a price tag of 8k. Nick was able able to fix my AC in less than 30 minutes. Always get a second opinion. I will be calling Evenaire again for my AC repair needs.

They came out today and replaced a part to fix my air conditioner. It was quick and easy and I paid less than what was quoted on the phone. If I have any trouble in the future I will call them again.

My A/​C went out on Monday morning, so I had called around to a few places to get quotes and try to have it repaired. To make a long story short I needed to get a new outside unit. I was quoted some outrageous prices and a friend told me that I needed to check out Evenaire. They quoted me over $ 500 less than some of the other companies and they had what I needed in stock. I will be recommending these guys to everyone. Thank you guys so much.

Our outside fan motor was overheating on one of the 1^st really hot SATURDAYS. We contacted them early afternoon and they responded quickly. They were able to diagnose and or. Our unit is aging so we have used them foe a couple different things. Very fair and honest.

My blower went out early Saturday morning… I called a couple of hvac places but never received a call back. I called Evenaire and they got the parts and installed them on Saturday. They made certain everything was operating properly before leaving. They were responsive… fast…and thorough. All this great service at a very reasonable price. I will only use them for my hvac needs… Thanks Evenaire!

These guys will not dupe you into something you don’t need. I requested a service call expecting a worst case scenario, but all my unit needed was a little cleaning, and some additional coolant.
When you schedule a service call, these guys are on time and very polite.

I have had nothing but great service from Evenaire. They are wonderful people and are honest. I had been taken advantage of from another company for years and the last straw was he wanted me to pay anywhere from $ 5,000-$ 10,000 to replace my whole unit, which he was the one who caused the leak in the first place and had been charging me to fill my unit every year. I had just quit my job and had a new baby when my AC went out in the dead heat of Aug, so $ 5,000 was devastating. I called Evenaire for another opinion and I am glad I did!!! They fixed my old unit, called around on my warranties and made it work for way less than that.
A year later, I had an issue with something and they were quick to respond, plus I felt very supported as they treated me with the utmost kindness and respect.
Take it from someone who has seen the bad side of the AC business and the crooks in some companies, this company is legit and will take care of you like family.

When I came home after work today, I realized my AC was not cooling. Based on positive Unilocal reviews, I called Evenaire. I didn’t expect they would be able to make a service call until the next day since it was around 6pm. They were so nice, checked with service technicians, and the owner came out himself within an hour. They fixed my AC for a reasonable price. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Will definitely keep their number handy and share with anyone needing AC service.

Called them late afternoon because my ac stopped blowing. Came out within the hour and within 5 min of arriving, identified the issue (blower motor went bad). Since it was late in afternoon, there were not able to get blower motor from Lennox until morning. Got a call in the morning that they had picked up new blower motor amd were on the way. Technician had it installed in 15 – 20 minutes and we have air conditioning again.
Will definitely use Evenaire for any air condition related services again!

These guys are just AWESOME in every way! I’ve had the opportunity to call on them on three occasions over the past few years (once for my heater and twice for my AC) and they’ve exceeded my expectations every time. This is what customer service should be like.

Excellent customer service. My husband had installed the Nest himself and in doing so, broke something. Well, he called Evenaire and they gave him a price for them to fix it, but when they sensed his hesitancy to spend the amount of money to fix it (especially after spending 250 on the Nest), they offered to just walk him through the process of fixing it himself. Wow! No one does that anymore. Just amazing and kind service. Thank you!

Best AC guys in Austin. What else can be said. They are honest, reliable and kind. I had Evenaire repair an AC drain problem at my condo. Best experience I’ve every had with AC guys…

heating went out right when the clod snap happened… after using the fireplace going, and calling another rep, as well as making a trip into austin to try to fix ourselves… then I checked with Unilocal (my only main source for good leads), I contacted Evenaire, they actually answered the phone (wow) and came out the next day…(my choice, as a sunday visit would be 25% extra)
they were fast, good, and turns out I needed a new mother board… got me up and heating the same day… they were not the least expensive, but I always feel like you do get what you pay for. and I would rather pay a little more, and not have to worry about the problem not being fixed correctly.

Not sure where to start. Everyone knows how critical a good AC is in central Texas for about 360 days out of the year.
I’ve been having home AC problems since about mid-​June. Called an AC company out to fix the issue. They did fix the original problem and told me that I would have future issues as my equipment was failing. They told me the equipment could last out the summer, or it could go out the next day.
I still had periodic issues, and after another failure on a very hot July Saturday, I decided to try another company. I found the high reviews on Unilocal for Evenaire and gave them a call.
Here is the first amazing thing. Our AC failed early on a hot (any other kind) July Saturday evening. I called Evenaire, expecting to leave a message. To my surprise, the phone was answered on the 1^st or 2^nd ring, and I talked to a human being (Stephanie). I told her the problem, and she said that she would try to have the guys out there that night. I was stunned that I could possibly get service that night.
She called back at about 9:00 PM or so and said their previous service call had run late, and would I mind if they showed up tomorrow (Sunday) instead. Of course I didn’t mind. The mere fact that they were willing to come out VERY late on a Saturday night was beyond my comprehension.
They arrived before 9:00 AM the next day (Sunday) morning. To my previous AC guys credit, they echoed everything that he said, so at least I wasn’t conned.
Since they couldn’t do anything, they did not charge me for the service visit.
Long story short, I had to get a new AC. Evenaire has a deal with Wells Fargo for financing if necessary. Thanks to that, we got a little higher model than we could have afforded without it. Great investment.
We were still having problems with some rooms in the house not cooling properly. This was an issue that predated the new AC. We just kind of hoped a new AC would fix that. Sadly it didn’t. Evenaire came out again to give an estimate on what it would take. When the house was built, the builders used the wrong sized duct work for the bedrooms. Danny and his crew came out again, installed the appropriate sized duct works in the bedrooms, now the whole house is nice and as cool as we want it to be.
This is what I loved about working with Evenaire:
1) great customer service. When they say they will be there by X time on X date, they mean it
2) great integrity — There was a minor mistake on my final bill. I was an honest mistake and when I pointed it out they were very sorry for the mixup and corrected it right away.
3) great work — they say it will take X, Y and Z to complete the job and it will be done by X time. They get everything done they say that will, by (in my case well before) the time they said they were going to complete it.
4) Financing options — VERY easy to get, and very fast. We applied for the financing on a Sunday night, it was approved Monday, and by the next day, Tuesday, they were installing our new high capacity AC.
I highly recommend Evenaire for all of your heating and cooling needs.

Evenaire is a great AC-​HVAC company. They first earned my business when they came out on a Sunday emergency (90 degrees in the house), arrived in 30 minutes, fixed the problem in 10 minutes, and charged a VERY reasonable price. Since then I have them come out annually (service contract) to check my AC and Heating system. I believe that maintenance has extended the life of my system, as well as giving me peace of mind that my heating system is safe. Their tech, Nick, just left and advised me on some preventative issues and info on the eventual replacement of my system (getting near the end of its life expectancy). I only hope they won’t get too popular, and not be as responsive as they are now. They are about as good an A/​C company as you could ever expect.

I cannot say enough great things about this company, which is surprising for an AC company! I have done business with them twice now, and every time is better than the last! The first time I called was on a Memorial Day, and there was no extra fee for coming out on a holiday. Even better, the fix saved me hundreds vs the previous AC person’s quote. It was something simple and cheap.
Today I was a return customer. They came out, and bad news — the compressor was out and not cost effective to fix. A new system would have been costly. They came back out to try one last thing to jump start the AC, and IT WORKED!
They’ve been a complete lifesaver and the absolute only place I will go for my AC needs.

AC failed Satruday night. Temp HI 90’s. My HOA recommended Evenaire. One call to Evenaire AC fixed our problem. Nick was dispatched & arrived in Georgetown within 30 mins. Nick inspected the AC system, replaced the failed condensor & topped off the refrigerant. Inside temp dropped immediatedly. Very impressed.
Evenaire responded quickly, professionally & economicaly. We also recieved a 10% senior’s discount.

I’ve used other A/​C companies in the area and thought I was getting quality work done but Evenaire showed me differently. They were the 5^th company we called on a Sunday evening because our pipe froze over and the motor wouldn’t spin after we dethawed it. No one would agree to come out that evening and it was a sweltering 90 degrees in our house. Evenaire came out within the hour (when no other company did). After quickly diagnosing the motor, we had a new capacitor and cool air.
They also caught something that no other previous companies found. Our unit had an internal filter that was reusable and washable. We never knew this and so had another filter near the air intake vent. The internal filter was disgustingly dirty! If it was supposed to be blue, it was a mottled grey. Honestly it looked like it hadn’t been touched since the install of the unit. Apparently this is something that should be checked during the yearly maintenance checks. For the past 2 years, we’ve had A+ heating and cooling and Austin Air Dynamics do this maintenance work. Not once did anyone EVER check this, or tell us that we were over working our system by using 2 filters.
Lastly, apparently during these maintenance checks, you are supposed to have your outside unit cleaned thoroughly. Evenaire informed us that sometimes other companies will take a hose and barely squirt it down if that at all. Evenaire took apart the entire framing and pulled handfuls of grass, dirt, and gunk from our unit.
Thank god for honest business people. We found out that they are a family business who started because they were put off by the practices of another larger A/​C company. They were amazing and their prices were reasonable. I was so grateful, I wanted to add gratuity to our bill for them coming out on a Sunday!

I test the work of alot of air conditioning companies for my job, and when the time came to replace my air conditioning system in my own house I did not hesitate to call these guys.
The quality of their work is top-​notch and they are exceedingly courteous and professional. Nick took care of all the rebate and loan details and made certain that everything was in order when the time came to install the new system. Testing the system after it was installed showed that they had cut the overall duct leakage by more than 2/​3rds.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new air conditioning system.
