I’ve been a loyal customer to Austin Mobility Solutions since their first year in business. Charlie, Ashleigh, Dave, Steve and the rest of their staff are amazing to work with — professional, friendly, honest, and accommodating to my needs.
As a person who has a physical disability and who uses a motorized wheelchair, it is sometimes difficult to feel like you have a lot of options when it comes to personal transportation. I need a van with a ramp or a lift because my wheelchair cannot be put into a trunk. The selection of vehicles at Austin Mobility Solutions is comparable to most small dealerships and I actually feel like a «normal» person shopping for a «normal» vehicle. With a large selection of used and new vans on the lot from reputable companies like Dodge, Honda, and Toyota, I had plenty of options and price points of comparison.
After purchasing a new Dodge Caravan there, which will soon be modified so that I can drive it, I am comforted in knowing that it will be serviced and repaired by AMS because I won’t have to worry about getting stranded, ignored, or cheated. I know this because I have been taking my current van there for repairs for years. The repair and service department at AMS has helped me to keep my old van alive as I have saved to purchase my new Dodge.
Not only does Austin Mobility Solutions sell and repair vehicles, they also have a fleet of rentals to offer at reasonable prices. Because my current van, an old Ford Windstar, is not capable for road trips, AMS has the rental van options for those weekend getaways at a reasonable price.
Finally, Austin Mobility Solutions is generous to its community of people with disabilities. This company supports a number of local and national charities, as well as organizations that promote the Independent Living philosophy. Ashleigh is a wealth of knowledge and because of her, she has put me in contact with other adults who have my disability that I now talk to and share resources with.

We ordered custom seats for our 2006 Ford E-​150 Econoline Passenger Van that were supposed to be plug-​n-​play solutions. Unfortunately, the supplier sent incompatible seats that were non-​refundable. Then Austin Mobility saved the day! They have a ton of surplus items left over from custom installations and were able to do the impossible: They installed the seats and even included an upgraded powere seat base at no additional charge.
