Arlene’s Pet Grooming And Boarding

For some reason my last review was removed but again I have never if an issue with her and love her work! And again as I said in the last post my poodles need her.

Arlene has groomed our darling dogs many times. She has lovingly and artfully used her skills to make them look their best. They get excited when they see her. I highly recommend Arlene. I do not think that individuals who have not used a business should be posting a review! That negates the validity of reviews. These posts should be deleted.

Accidents happen. I am trying to get in touch with her to get our boys groomed but she will not return my texts. Did y’all chase her out of the state?

Danger! do not take any pet you even remotely care about here. Horrid lying woman.

She must not even be insured!
If she was a legit business she would have insurance to cover breaking the dogs leg while in her care — and not throwing out threats of more violence.
Mistakes can happen, but its how you handle the situation that shows your true nature.
She also left a dog locked outside a clients house after committing to pick up the dog for boarding. Never answered the phone. so was she intending to starve/​heat exhaust this animal?
This lady makes me sick to my stomach — Never trust her with any animal for any amount of time. Saving a few bucks isn’t worth trusting a member of your family to someone like this.

I’d love to hear an explanation for how a puppy was dropped off there perfectly healthy and returned to its owners lethargic, with a severely broken leg. I think its disgusting that you not only refused to answer her questions, pay the bill for the damage done at your place of business, but most reprehensible of all, threatened the family if they continued to contact you.
I honestly don’t know how you sleep at night.

Do not support this woman’s company! To do so you could be potentially risking your fury loved ones safety! While in her care a poor defenseless pup’s leg was broken. To top it off she tried covering it up with lies. The worst part is when confronted in person & through text she still denied her actions, theatened the owners of the pup stating she was «not afraid to go jail», & still hasn’t apologized or offered to pay the vet bill. What kind of heartless, disgusting, unprofessional person does this?! At least own up to your mistakes, apologize, & pay the vet bill!!!

Do NOT go here, avoid at all costs. This woman is shady and you do not want to do business with her!

Don’t go here!!! There’s a reason this woman works out of her house… not saying all businesses in homes are shady but this lady definitely is! Who knows if she even has a license to operate her business. She’s irresponsible, negligent and a scammer!

Please PLEASE explain to the recent customer you had WHY her puppy came home with a broken leg. I can’t imagine not knowing and to act like you didn’t know them the next day… despicable. How can you live with yourself? Take care of the Vet bill!

I have been using Arlene over the past few months. She has done a great job with my two german shepherds who don’t do well in large grooming places. Her prices are very good and quality is excellent. My dogs don’t seem to want to leave when i pick them up. I recommend her to anyone who wants their pets to be treated like family. Thanks

Well I wanted to have Arlene groom my cat. I setup an appointment for this past Saturday, drove 20 minutes to drop off my cat, and she wasn’t home.
I called and she apologized, she wrote me down for Friday so said she would give my cat a free cut, and pick up/​drop off my cat at my convenience, she gave her e-​mail address over the phone and said to send a time, and a provide my address for her to come by.
Unfortunately her e-​mail address was wrong, it bounced. I may have heard it wrong, so I called and left a message to get her e-​mail address again, or setup over the phone. No reply, tried calling again and leaving another message two days later. No return.
Oh well…

I have used Arlene for our dog before so was pretty confident he would be in good care if we left him with her. I was interested in boarding as well as a nice groom.
We had arranged for Arlene to pick him up the day we left for our out of state trip. We were leaving him in our yard for her to pick up. I double checked that she had our address and confirmed that she would come get him in the afternoon which is when she was available.
I thought I’d text during my stopover in Denver to see if she had picked up my dog. No reply back. I called and left several messages. No call or reply back. That evening, I asked our friend to stop by to see if he was still in our yard. My poor dog was NEVER PICKED UP!
None of my calls or texts ever got responded either.
I was shocked by the sub par level of professionalism. Thought I had someone reliable but definitely not the case here.

Our terrier mix (20 lb) is very nervous in grooming establishments so I am always looking out for small, homey salons where she doesn’t have to be kenneled for hours on end and where I can drop off and pick up within an hour or two. For shave down, nails, ears, and anal glands, the cost was $ 30. I added 20% tip. Best part: our baby seemed relaxed in Arlene’s care!

Great place and service. Arlene always does a great job and the doggies look so nice. I love this place. Thank you Arlene and keep up the great work. You do great work.

Terrific! I have taken my poodle to Arlene twice now. She is great with him. I have had trouble with other groomers clipping his skin by mistake, but Arlene does a wonderful job… and no nicks!!! I am so glad I found her. His fur looks and smells great when she is done. I definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Arlene as a dog groomer. I am new to the Round Rock area and Arlene has showed tender care, passion and professionalism when dealing with our two dogs. Our dogs are part of our family and I would not leave any else in charge of this very important task.
