History

Established in 2008.

I was motivated to start Serendipity when I realized that many people are encumbered by their stuff and feel stuck by the material load and/or lack of systems. I live simply and am well organized, so the decision to start an organizing business was easy. I understand how challenging it is when you’re moving as fast as you can — or must. Having juggled college, career, and family, I get it! It brings me great satisfaction to meet clients where they are, right now, without judgment, and help them achieve their goals for more spacious living.

Meet the Business Owner

Elizabeth B.

Business Owner

I’m Elizabeth Bertani, founder of Serendipity Organizing Service.

I spent 30 years as a marketing professional, working with both large and small companies in the natural products industry. During those years, I honed my experience and skill for managing projects and working with a wide range of people. Along the way, I also raised a family, moved often, and experienced lots of transitions.

I started Serendipity in 2008, driven by a passion for simplicity and organization and an overwhelming desire to work with people on a one-to-one basis to help them through transitions and the journey to living more expansively with less stuff.

The underpinning of Serendipity Organizing Service is the belief that we can live more simply, easily, and sustainably by making thoughtful choices about how we spend our time, money and energy.

Elizabeth holds a BA in Environmental Studies and an MBA from Sonoma State University.
