Peg King was recommended to us by a dear friend when we started thinking about moving to Petaluma from Southern California. From the beginning she was responsive and informative, but her true value showed up in the actual hunt for the house and the escrow process. She has GOT YOUR BACK! Not only is she real estate savvy, she is Petaluma savvy… guiding us to the right neighborhood for us and making sure everything went well with the inspections and the sale. She is fierce, and I mean that in the very best way.
With the stress of packing up our former home of 30 years, being in simultaneous escrows and picking up stakes, this process could have been a nightmare. Thanks to Peg King and her expert and responsive staff, it was nearly headache-​free! And now we couldn’t be happier with our new home and our new life in Petaluma!

We had decided to downsize and having made that decision, «auditioned» several brokerage firms. We employed Peg and Jeremy King to help us through the process of buying our new condo and selling our existing home. The purchased went as smoothly as possible with some challenges that Jeremy coached us through successfully.
The sale of our home went brilliantly! They coached us on how to stage the home and how to best prepare the home for the sales process. The strategy they used worked perfectly from pricing the home just right to the open house. We received offers above our asking price and that’s what we had hoped for. Couldn’t ask for a better team than Peg and Jeremy King !

I could not be happier in regards to working with Peg. Unfortunately I bought a house in 2007, right before the huge market crash. I lost almost half my house value, was cheated on by my husband, and got stuck with this terrible mortgage on a house of my own at age 22!
Through the gossipy grapevine that is Petaluma, I heard about Peg King. I contacted her and she couldn’t have been nicer. She convinced me to hold on to the house and to wait until the time is right. She checked in with me a few times a year, with words of encouragement. Seven years later, She happily informed me it was time to sell! She spent just about every day not only coddling me in my emotional state, but working hard to sell the house. She even went so far as to be my «bulldog» in order to successfully evict my tenant who was about as uncooperative as could be.
Peg sold the house for more than she originally predicted we could, gave me far more emotional support through this whole process than anyone else involved, and took me out to a nice dinner to celebrate our team success. I praise her name to all of my clients and friends. If you are looking to buy or sell or even rent, miss Peg is your girl!

Peg and Jeremy are awesome agents and People. They helped us purchase our first house and held our hand through the whole thing. One of the things I love about these guys is that they do a lot deals. More deals in a year then some agents do in their careers. Which means they have seen almost every kind of deal… which gives them a serious edge when helping you formulate your offer. Despite their high volume they treat you with the type of care that someone with only a few clients would. Our family highly recommends the King clan!

My wife and I worked with Jeremy through October and November while looking for a house in West Petaluma, and he was there with us every step of the way. He was exceedingly patient as we visited 10+ houses in Petaluma and the surrounding area, he drove us around, showed us the town and made suggestions about areas that would work for us. When we finally saw a place we loved, he assisted in the inspections, closing and dealing with the escrow agents. These are things that all real estate agents would help you with, but Jeremy is a cool guy and reduced the stress of it all, plus he was never pushy, never trying to get us to buy fast. He made it feel much more comfortable and easy. Highly recommended.

We recently sold and purchased a house in Petaluma. While we were quite advanced in what was a lightening fast escrow on our purchase, we went with our agent to introduce our 2 young children to their new home. They were very excited and delighted to see their future rooms.
Enter Peg King — literally. The door was open, and she barges in, followed by 3 people. No greeting, no acknowledgment of any kind. Our agent immediately let her know we were in escrow and here to take measurements and she turns around and says «you never know».
The whole group walked around us, through us and pushed us all the while completely ignoring us and still not not even saying hello. Our older child was stunned and confused by what essentially amounted to a group of bullies pushing us aside to get their way. Our agent masterfully ignored her attitude but also refused to leave before they did. A week later the deal was closed and we are happily living in our new place.
We are not newbies. We know it’s perfectly acceptable to show a house that is in escrow. But being tactful and polite is even more so required in such situation.
Not once in our many years experience of buying or selling homes have we ever encountered someone so rude, so entitled and so dismissive. We have worked with several successful, «cut throat» agents and none of them ever behaved this poorly.

If you are looking for an amazing agent that would absolutely go to bat for you, I would recommend the Peg & Jeremy team. We just closed escrow on our home in Petaluma. We had a bit of back and forth with the seller and Peg & Jeremy really drove this to closure.
Peg & Jeremy were on top of things — prompt responses, professional, and very much on top of every task during our experience. We wanted someone that we could trust would go to bat for us and they exceeded our expectations. They are very knowledgeable regarding Petaluma/​home buying and recommended additional inspections where we found some issues that would not have been uncovered until a disaster were to strike after buying the home. Most agents would not have recommended the extra inspections. Now we have a plan to address. Additionally, they were very honest with us on homes we looked at — whether it would be right or not right for us. We started looking at homes this past summer and I did not expect for anything to happen so fast — here we are in September, we now have our home!

They are very professional, flexible, knowledgeable, friendly, accountable and prompt. We bid on 3 homes and hit gold on the 3rd try. We couldn’t be happier. It was comforting to know they have been through many, many real estate transactions and kept us in the loop throughout the whole process (even while we panicked).
