Out To Lunch Fine Catering catered a Christmas party for me last night. Bethany is easy to work with and was very flexible with the menu planning. The food was delivered hot and ready to eat by George. He was kind and professional and helped set everything up. Everyone was thrilled with the food! It was all incredibly tasty. This is the second time I have used Out To Lunch and I have been incredibly happy with their professionalism, service, and most importantly– quality of food!

Bethany, and her Out To Lunch Catering, prepared a fabulous New Year’s Eve/​my husbands 60^th birthday event in our home last night. The food was all delicous and beautifully displayed. We loved the Lamb lollipops and the Tuna Poke on wontons as well as everything else. The truffle fries were to die for! George and Allysia couldn’t have been better — very attentive and perceptive and very professional. I would not hesitate to use them again nor to recommend them for any event. Thank You Bethany!

Catering: Dependable and easy to work with! Out to Lunch is always able to cater to my customers needs, requests and changes, without batting an eye. She has a wide range of menus and pricing. Bethany is a hard worker who will make sure the event is a success (her crew too, especially George). I am an event coordinator and have used Bethany/​Out To Lunch Catering for more than 7 events, in all calibers from buffet, to vineyard lunches, to pick-​up/​drop-​off menus and am pleased and happy to have found her! After 1.5 years, I continue to use her and her talents!

Out to Lunch just catered my wedding of 95 people over the weekend. I received so many compliments about the food, everything was delicious. Corrine and Doug, who managed the event were spectacular. Not only was the food amazing, but their service was outstanding. Bethany was very responsive, provided great rates, and the staff was very professional on site. They executed the event superbly! Anyone looking for a catering service should use Out to Lunch! Thank you Bethany and Team!

Our wedding reception was catered by Bethany and her Out to Lunch Catering crew this past August at Toby’s Feed Barn in Point Reyes. We had and outdoor cocktail hour next to the barn, then we went into the barn for dinner (served family style for 140 guests), dancing, and a late night snack.
Throughout the process Bethany was a very timely and straightforward communicator, (very important when planning out an event/​dinner), she was very responsive and flexible with us. We discussed pricing with Bethany during our tasting so there were no surprises later on. One of the great things that she did for us, that gave me some major peace of mind, was a sight visit about a month before the wedding. She did a walk through with us and the venue manager and was able to get a feel for the space. She was on time and came prepared with questions of her own for the venue manager to make sure she would be prepared on the day of. Other caterers we had spoken with previously were ready to charge us for this kind of visit, but she did not charge us in any way for that walk through.
We really enjoyed the food we ate at the tasting, and it was just as tasty at the wedding. All of the guests that I spoke with at the reception and afterwards were raving about the food. Also, when the late night snack was served Bethany and the other chef were sweet enough to put together a special plate for my husband and I to make sure we got some.
Bethany brought just the right amount of servers and chefs to make it all happen. She also provided two bartenders, who were great and very nice, (I’ve been to some weddings where the bartenders were not very friendly, so this was something I was looking out for.) Everyone she brought seemed very willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were well prepared and everything ran on time from our perspective.
We had a great experience with Bethany and I really feel we made the right choice in going with her. She was friendly, easy to work with, dependable and professional. We were very fortunate to be in her capable hands. We were so happy with the way everything came out!
If I had to do it all over again I would definitely work with Bethany and Out to Lunch Catering! The food was delicious, and Bethany made the whole process so easy!

I have worked with Bethany and her team dozens of times for a variety of events; mostly through my place of work but, most recently, I hired them to cater my wedding in Petaluma.
Nothing will phase Bethany — appetizers for 150, full holiday meal including appy’s and desserts for 85, or a sit down bused formal dinner for 35 — she can do it all!
Always a smile on her face, she and her staff are a pleasure to work with.
When it came to our wedding day meal… WOW! They nailed everything perfectly. My husband is a bit of a foodie and is an incredible cook himself and he was blown away. We opted for a whole roasted pig onsite (which makes for great entertainment), beet risotto, roasted veggies and a KILLER cucumber salad. YUM! I wish I could go back and have it all over again!
5 separate guests have told me that they have tried to replicate her cucumber salad on their own. If that isn’t a testament to her work, I don’t know what is!
Can we talk for a moment about their desserts? TO DIE FOR!
There is nothing they cannot do. I highly recommend them for any event you are planning.

Bethany’s food is amazing!
She is also very nice and sweet. She catered my wedding in August this year and everyone LOVED the food! Even now, when I talk to family and friends who attended, they still talk about how much they loved the foot and have cravings for more. One of my friends said it was the best food he had ever tasted.
Before I booked Bethany, I was really concerned with my previous caterer’s quality of food. I didn’t want to provide food to my guests that was anything but excellent. When I had a tasting with Bethany, I was so happy and I knew that she would do a great job and I booked with her instead of the other caterer.
Appetizers:
For the cocktail hour, we had coconut shrimp, egg rolls and poke served on wonton crisps. All 3 were delicious and the sauces for each made the food even better!
Dinner:
At dinner, we had a buffet where she served kalua pork, almond-​crusted pan-​seared chicken, roasted vegetables, coconut fried rice, fresh fruit, hawaiian sweet rolls and a butter-​lettuce salad with macadamia nuts and strawberries and a pineapple vinaigrette dressing. I really loved the salad, home-​made hawaiian sweet rolls and the pork and chicken.
The service was also excellent at our wedding. The servers were consistently filling up glasses and were all so nice. They made sure that me and my husband got to eat some appetizers (knowing how crazy things get). The food looked great and tasted amazing. The portions were perfect too. The appetizers were the perfect size (large enough so you can take a couple bites).
My one criticism (which is very minor and did not affect the service at our wedding or the quality of the food), is that at times, Bethany was so busy that it took her a little while to respond to emails/​phone calls, which made me concerned that we wouldn’t quickly resolve a couple issues. She probably needs to hire an assistant to help. However, she did respond and explain her delay in response. She also got everything done on time and was never stressed or worried, which made me feel great. So if you are worried about response time, don’t. Bethany will take great care of you and make sure the food at your event is perfect and everything runs smoothly.
Everyone was so impressed with the food! All in all, the service and food exceeded all my expectations for my wedding food and I am soo happy we booked with Out to Lunch Catering.

Bethany catered our wedding in Glen Ellen, CA, September 2011. She exceeded all of our expectations. Appetizers were mini sliders, sushi and a cheese display. Presentation was great and she provided one passed appetizer for free! Our dinner menu was basalmic grilled chicken, butternut squash ravioli, roasted fall veggies, salad & bread. Simple and yet we had so many compliments on the quality of the dinner– warm, delicious and cooked perfectly. Working with Bethany was a joy. Professional, caring and she really helped us work within our budget. We definitely plan to have her cater our parties in the future!

Bethany and her staff are wonderful. We used them to cater our annual fundraiser and the day after the event we made sure to book them for next year.
They do Sonoma County Cuisine in a way that appeals to all taste buds. There really was something for everyone.

It’s been ages since my wedding was catered by Bethany and Out To Lunch, but it has left such an impression that I have referred her services to anyone I know that needs a caterer. Outstanding service, outstanding food!

Our daughter got married in Petaluma on October 16 and we used Bethany and Out to Lunch Catering. Unbelievable!
We started with passed tartlets, Chicken Satay and fruit/​cheese station which was beautiful. The meal was fantastic (Salad with candied pecans, cranberries, gorganzola; Marinated Chicken Breast with Squash Ravioli; Marinated Tri-​Tip with roasted Rosemary Red Potatoes; Grilled veggies; wonderful bread rolls) and plenty for everyone. We did family-​style at each table which really made everyone comfortable. The service was impeccable, her staff was friendly and attentive and I couldn’t say enough. We also had her make the Fruit Basket Wedding Cake which was absolutely delicious and looked gorgeous.
Bethany was so easy to work with and just made the day exactly what the bride and groom wanted!

Just attended a lovely wedding at the bride’s family home in Sebastapol. The dinner was buffet style, presented gorgeously and was tasty rustic comfort food with a nice touch of grilled squash medley. It is rare that I finish a plate of food and even more rare at a special occassion since my hands are usually too busy holding beverages but I enjoyed dinner thoroughly.

Menu was simple and family friendly. I loved the grilled skirt steak which you can tell had been marinating in lovely sauce for a while because even the pieces that were cooiked more thoroughly than others were very tender and had the right amount of seasoning. The Horseradish Sauce went with the steak as well as my mashed potatoes. So good!
When we arrived their were passing around Chicken Satay Sticks (which were good) and Crab Cakes (a bit too dry for me) but I heard that an oven went out so they had to borrow a neighbors? Either way, it all worked out and everything turned out just perfect.
Loved Chef Bills outgoing friendly demeanor and the rest of the staff were very friendly too.

Bethany and her staff catered our May wedding celebration in Napa. I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. We had 35 close friends and family attend the appetizer and sit down dinner in a small winery. Bethany took care of all staffing, table set up and plating rentals in addition to coordinating all of the catering.
We started with passed appetizers and a cheese and fruit display. The cheese/​fruit table was groaning with a beautiful array of cheeses and plump, fresh fruit accompanied by toast points and crackers. The baked brie was a meal in itself and the strawberries were some of the plumpest I had ever seen. We had selected the seared scallops on toast points, pecan chicken bites (my favorite!) and the turkey meatballs as appetizers which were passed by Bethany’s staff prior to the meal. The staff did a great job — always fresh appetizers offerred by a friendly, unobtrusive staff.
After appetizers, guests took their seats for the dinner. We had specified 4 different entrees for the dinner and our guests had made their selections prior to the event. The plating went off without a hitch and I think everyone loved their meals. I had the Tritip beef accompanied by yukon gold potatoes and asparagus — terrific! Bethany was very flexible in meal selections and how they would be presented. I was concerned that 4 selections for such a small group would be too many but everything went well.
I don’t think our celebration could have been more special and Bethany helped make it a memorable event!

Out to Lunch Fine Catering has worked with me on many non-​profit fundraisers — and everyone has asked WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FOOD? Baked brie you can’t stop eating, melt in your mouth espresso bites, wonderful veggie dishes. Just ask Bethany and she’ll make your menu shine. Find her at 707−766−9810. My wife and I had Bethany (the owner) at Out To Lunch cater our wedding last weekend. The food and service were outstanding! Our favorites were the baked brie, coconut shrip, and crab cake appetizers.
We did a buffet-​style dinner with all the fix’ns. Bethany and her staff were all very professional and fun.
We will certainly use Bethany again if we have another catered event, and highly recommend her!

Beth did not keep her word and was unorganized. My dad paid for ten servers for our wedding, but there were only eight. Half of the guests had cold food — fish doesn’t taste good cold. The servers also failed to walk around as promised and fill up water glasses. Some of the tables had nothing to drink. The servers also disappeared after they thought they were done serving, so my aunt didn’t have food for ten minutes. Ten minutes doesn’t seem like a long time, but when dinner is served an hour and a half after scheduled it feels like eternity. I had completed a walk through prior to the wedding day where Beth drew pictures of the sight and where I wanted everything. The day of the wedding I had people asking me where everything should go. She said she would be there at the site the day of at twelve, but didn’t show up until one thirty. I gave her a go to girl that would answer last minute questions, but an hour before my ceremony I was still being asked questions. I talked to Beth the night before the ceremony and told her where the napkin examples were set up, however, I still had to show someone how to fold the napkins (they were in rectangles). Then an hour later another person found me and asked me to come down and show them how to fold the napkins. They obviously don’t communicate. You would think the day of the wedding they would leave the bride alone, but instead I was downstairs helping get things ready until an hour before I walked down the isle. Beth is a really sweet lady, but really unorganized. I chose her because the tasting was great and a family friend recommended her, but definitely regret my decision. My dad tried to talk to her after the event, but never returned any of his phone calls. He ended up calling 4 different times in two weeks. The food had good flavor though it was cold, but the service was poor and not worth it on such a special day.

This place is a little quirky, but I dig it.
I’ve bought sandwiches and soup from this pace a couple of times and it’s always good, and very fresh.
I think the deal is that they’re a catering company and they make food for events and then enough to sell to the lunch crowd… good stuff.
