Ken is great ! On time and very curteous ! He had re-​keyed my front door a few months ago so I called him back when I needed to change it again. He did not charge me because he said that the first time the was not his best work ! I really appreciate his honesty. I will call him back in the future !

This is a great guy running a great business. I could tell after ten seconds on the phone that I was dealing with a friendly honest person who knew his craft. We had purchased an antique dresser and found the bottom drawer was locked and we had no key. Ken came over and after spending twenty minutes fiddling with it he discovered that it was actually not locked but the wood had swollen and stuck. We thanked him and ask what his fee was for visiting our house and his time. He replied «you don’t owe me anything» and refused to take any money. Of course we will call Ken next time we need a locksmith. What a great guy!

I called after a recommendation from a neighbor. He came out the same day, told me what to buy, as I was changing my front door lock/​handle. Once the lock came, I called and he came and replaced it the next day. Quick and easy and very fair pricing. Will recommend Ken’s Keys to anyone who needs lock work. I would use him again for any lock/​key need.

A few weeks ago I was referred to Ken by our ‘go to’ locksmith that had stopped doing residential and now was only doing auto electronic keys. Glad I called Ken. He is a great guy, came over the next day and fixed one of our door locks that was acting up. He knows his stuff, does great work quickly, is very honest and personable! The price was also great. He is now our residential lock guy for all our home needs. I highly recommend Ken.

Left a message for Ken before business hours in the morning and a got a call back within an hour — And he had fixed our broken deadbolt that had us locked out of the house within an hour after that, and even re-​keyed the new lock to match the existing keys. Very reasonable pricing, and a pleasure to work with.

Outstanding price, outstanding service! I moved into a rental home with 3 or 4 different keys for the exterior doors. I wanted to get them all changed to a single key, so I called Ken. He answered on the first right, asked a few questions to confirm the types of locks I had, and gave me a price over the phone.
He had great availability, and was able to meet us at home at a time of our choosing. He was extremely friendly and professional, and made me feel comfortable with his presence in my home. He got all the locks working with one key, and ended up charging less than the estimate!
I will never call another locksmith. Ken has my business in perpetuity. Thanks Ken!

Superb service, and what a friendly guy! I just moved to Petaluma and needed the locks on my new house changed, Ken offered to come same day when I called and was professional and efficient– he changed 5 locks in less than 45 minutes. Simply, the best. Ken is aces at what he does, super friendly when doing it and absolute ‘straight-​shooter’. We recently bought a house and wanted the locks changed that afternoon… Ken squeezed us in that day and was super-​reasonable on price.

Ken is the consummate professional who puts service first. We found one of our locks was «sticky» after Ken re-​keyed our home. He came back out at no charge to fix the lock, and because he wanted to ensure his work was as close to perfect as one can get, he redid the other locks again as well! Ken even made use some extra key copies at no charge. His attention to detail and integrity in his work really stood out, plus I feel it’s important to support our local small business owners. Highly recommended!

Ken should get 6 stars or more. He is friendly, witty, kind, and provides
excellent prompt service. We bought a west side fixer upper and never had keys to the front door. Ken came out and fixed that and more. My 2 year old really enjoyed his company and he was delightful to chat with. I would say his prices are more than
reasonable and he gave us an UNBELIEVABLE deal. I think he has a big heart.
We are not family and just moved to Petaluma so this is an honest review.
We will be using Ken in the future and telling everyone else to as well.
We are blown away by this old fashioned customer service.

I had a small cabinet within a sideboard that I had locked. I had always placed the key in the same spot for the last 25 years. When I went to open the cabinet this week, I could not find the key. Somehow the key was not put back in it’s usual spot. I called Ken, and he came out this afternoon and within 2 seconds was able to open the cabinet. He also furnished me with an additional key. Great service and nice guy. Thank you

I would recommend Ken to anyone who needs locksmith service in the Santa Rosa area based on the incredible service he provided to us two weeks ago. My husband and I moved into our CA house a year ago. I ordered a custom handle set to replace the worn-​out handle on our front door. I scheduled service with Ken based on the great reviews on Unilocal.He inspected the handle set and told me I got the wrong type of lock. Fortunately, the hardware store that I ordered the handle set from was able to come up with a solution. It was a complicated installment. Ken spent hours and stayed late installing our front door handle set and replacing other locks and handles on the first floor. His fee was very reasonable. We will schedule him to replace other locks and handles for the rest of our house after we finish our remodeling. Thank God we found Ken on Unilocal

We have been struggling with a stiff deadbolt for a few months, and decided to splurge a little Xmas money on getting it fixed.
He came out the same day I called, fixed the door in a jiffy as I battled traffic (Washington Blvd! ugh!), was gone before I got home (my teenager let him in) and didn’t even charge me a cent!!!

Amazing and quick service. I had contacted another locksmith a few months ago about putting a deadbolt on my back door. That quote was nearly $ 200! Two hours ago I received a letter from my homeowners association notifying me of a burglary in our neighborhood and to pay extra attention. I knew it was time to get that deadbolt on the back door. After seeing Ken’s good reviews on Unilocal,I called for a quote. He mentioned ‘he’d be there in 45 minutes.” True to his word, he arrived on time. He had a deadbolt installed in minutes and charged a FRACTION of the original quote I received from elsewhere. AMAZING SERVICE!!!
