Chris just installed a lighted ceiling fan in our master bedroom. He was very knowledgable, trustworthy and pleasant to work with. We have found our repair guy!

Chris has worked in my home three times now and I highly recommend him. He was referred to me by my neighbor. He is competent, punctual, kind and fair. He has done plumbing & electrical work, installed sliding closet doors, hung a sword rack and fixed our front door. He is a versatile worker and pleasure to do business with.

Chris did a terrific job of hanging a 183 lb. chandelier. The instructions were terrible, but he persevered and engineered an attachment bracket that I would trust with my life. I have known and worked with Chris on four different houses and he has never disappointed me! Chris was the only person I would have called due to this chandelier was so large… I have complete trust in him.

Chris is a talented and professional contractor, who you can trust to handle your home repair projects. He is extremely honest and will direct you to another specialist if he feels he cannot provide the expertise needed for the job. That being said, Chris took my laundry list last Friday and did an incredible job in my bathroom, which was in dire need of renovation/​repairs– he fixed my towel racks, my bathroom fan, my shower doors, will be re-​caulking the tub soon and my bathroom will look like new!
Chris fixed my outside gate, is replacing my outdoor motion detector lighting and any wiring with this lighting that needs attention, he is replacing all of my smoke detectors, will be fixing the lock on my patio door– this list goes on and on!
He is a GEM! do not hesitate to contact him if you want a job well done in an efficient and thorough manner.

«Handyman» doesn’t do Chris or his work justice. Chris is a craftsman. When he does a job it’s done beautifully, professionally and with an eye for detail. Chris has done a lot of work for my husband and me — remodeled our kitchen, built a pantry, installed a pocket door, replaced all the interior doors in our house, and numerous other projects over a period of about 10 years. While working on the kitchen he made sure we had a working sink every night and, when he could, a working stove and he cleaned up the work area every night! Amazing!
When you are not sure what you want or what would work best Chris will have a suggestion that, more often than not, is just the right thing. He really does care and gives careful thought to every project. He has pride of workmanship. Truthfully, he doesn’t want his name connected to anything he can’t be proud of. I would hire Chris to do just about any job in my home.

One of the things Chris did for us was to move a couple of celing light fixtures to center them in the rooms. If you’ve ever had this done, you know that holes in the ceiling are hard to patch without leaving some kind of scar. Not so with Chris’s repair! He did a masterful job and you can’t tell AT ALL that the lights were moved. That is amazing.
Chris also did some electrical and carpentry repairs, all of which turned out perfect. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Chris has worked for us for 13 years. He is knowledgeable, honest to a fault and a hard worker. Over the years he has torn down a deck, built a huge 75′ x 12′ deck, installed bookcases & shelves, an ondemand water heater, built a pergula, replaced a cracked tile, put up a ceiling fan, patched walls etc.
We trust him to do the best job and he has always delivered. Imagine, a contractor who does a fabulous job AND cleans up after himself! It can’t be better.

Chris Strohmeyer is a true gem. Such an honest and reliable guy. No job is too small (he repaired our ceiling fan after going to Home Depot to get the part he needed) or too big (he detected a mysterious leak in our family room and replaced the door jam and some wood that had rotted on the roof above.) I love creating a list of repairs from around my house and having Chris spend a day or two checking them off. My house feels like new when he leaves. His brother Greg is a painter – so together, they can really spiff up your house.

This handy man/​licensed contractor is AMAZING. He has done everything from completely gutting and redoing my bathrooms and kitchen to wiring lights, fixing plumbing issues and finding leaks (he likes hourly work). He is amazing and always does an incredible job. He is a one man show and he never disappoints. He works hourly and is as trust worthy as they come and he cleans up after himself so you never feel like he was even around. Can’t write a good enough review for him. He is the best!!!
