American Tree Experts are truly experts! They go the extra mile with their customer service, knowledge and efficiency. They did a very thorough and clean job removing and pruning trees in my yard. Doing business with Stephanie and Bill is a pleasure.

Excellent! The crew arrived as scheduled. His wife Stefanie called as soon the crew left Petaluma giving the «heads up!» Which I really appreciated. They worked hard, and my 3 date palms look beautiful! They cleaned up and were polite and professional. Bill Dobbs really knows his tree’s. He talked to me about how these tree thrive best, made some good suggestions on how to keep them healthy. He is very knowledgeable about tree care. Dr. Dobbs!!! ;-)

Stephanie and Bill were great to work with, gave a great price and most of all, were very accommodating with my neighbors concerns which always seems to happen with big tree removal. They were super nice, efficient and did a great job. I highly recommend them.

These guys have come out the last two years to trim our fruitless mulberry when the leaves start to fall. We also had them out this past summer to cut down three tall redwoods and six birch trees. They did a great job each time we’ve interacted with them. They are very professional and thorough. We’ve recommended them to friends who have used them as well. All around, great company to work with.

I’ve found Stephanie and Bill to be efficient, cost effective and just great to work with. What a great experience I had in hiring American Tree Experts. I just had a new fence installed and then decided to remove a tree that was about 12 inches from the fence. Bill was very confdent that he could take down the 40 ft tree without damaging the fence. I love it when I meet contractors that are hard working, knowledgeable, professional, and above all honest. The folks at American Tree did a great job! I had them remove three trees and grind the stump. Also they cleaned up a portion of tree that had fallen on our property. Additionally they swept and blew everything off it was superclean when they left. The only way you knew they had been there was because the trees were gone! I highly recommend them!

I had Bill out to prune a bunch of fruit trees and also take a look at a tree that I suspected had some problems. Bill noted that «It’s in bad shape and when these type of trees go, all of the branches usually fall off at once.» That night we had a pretty good rainfall and at 7am the next morning i looked out in the yard to see that our fence had been crushed and every branch had fallen off the tree in question. Ughh! One call to Bill and he was there the next day to cut the tree up and enable me to start rebuilding my fence. Fantastic service, REAlly knowledgeable, and a great guy. Highly recommended!

I am so grateful to Bill and Stephanie with American Tree Experts. As an insurance agent, I find myself frantically trying to help people pick up the pieces after a storm. American Tree Experts has been there to help me do that.
The first time that I called them it was 6:00pm and Bill answered his cell phone, went to the location the next morning, made a competitively priced bid, and had the work done the following day — not easy work at that… a huge tree fell in a pool on a mighty steep hillside in tight backyard quarters. My insurance client was grateful and highly complimentary of the ease and speed in which things were taken care of.

Bill Took down a hazardous tree adjacent to our condominium complex. It was right next to our fence, so it was a little tricky, but he did it neatly, safely and left no debris what so ever. He surveyed the other trees on the property and made suggestions for future work to keep our complex safe. He was knowledgeable, efficient and reasonably priced. We will definitely use him for for future tree removal.

Bill took down a giant cypress tree in my back yard that was leaning towards the neighbors houses. This meant taking out fencing, negotiating a very narrow space with his bucket truck and then making certain that all the tree parts fell in my yard an not on my neighbors.
This was all done quickly. Clean up was total. Couldn’t even tell that they had been in the back yard, except for the large amounts of extra sunshine provided by the removal of the tree.
