We had the most lovely weekend at the McCormick house, We loved the hospitality, the friendliness, the ambiance and the great location. The little village of Pescadero is lovely and the proximity to Butano park and the beach made it a perfect vacation place. Also the place is so charming, very clean and inviting. We will sure to come back PS — I still miss these morning scones :-))

We had a wonderful anniversary weekend at this B&B back in March. The rooms were comfortable(we got both rooms, one for us and the other for our 10 month old son, so that everyone would be able to sleep). The biscuits were delicious. Lisa was so very sweet and made sure we had everything we might possibly need. The B&B is an easy walking distance to the eateries and shops in town. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit Pescadero.

We came here for a girl’s wkend and Lisa and Mauro were so great and accommodating to our group and its needs! The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was also very well taken care of. We felt so comfortable and at home. One of the best parts is the location. You can walk down to all of the shops on Stage Road in less than 10 min, which takes away all the hassle of driving. Def recommend staying here as it’s charming and super relaxing!

Had a wonderful stay here with friends! The rooms were absolutely adorable with a wonderful eye for detail. I slept in what I affectionately named the«Laura Ingall’s» bed because it was so cozy and cute. Loved the linens and the bedtime stories that Lisa had by the bed. The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean, complete with fresh flowers and a divine line of organic, lavender bath products. Favorite part of the stay was without a doubt the heavenly biscuits that magically appeared in our rooms each evening! There was also fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and water, but my friends and I went right for the biscuits. I’d travel back to Pescadero just to have another one! Mauro and and Lisa are both warm and inviting, they make you feel right at home! Also adored the old, white cat bathing in the sunshine when we first arrived!

Lisa Tune and Hubby Mauro are the adorable couple who bought and renovated this gorgeous California Historic Landmark 1870’s home. Lisa is this most friendly and thoughtful of hostesses and has lovingly put together an upstairs suite(each of 2 rooms sleeps 2 adults, and possibly, one child) full of homey details. It’s sort of upscale English/Americana Country Chic with many thoughtful features with the guest in mind. I immediately felt at home: it was quiet, the energy was blissful and we had two great nights. The room was soothing, large, full of awesome reading material and no distractions from outside or the room next door. My man is a vegetarian and we came with a cooler full of eating options. We didn’t know, but the room comes well-stocked with Peet’s(YESPEET’S!) coffee and Tazo teas. We didn’t need our hastily packed paper plates, cups or utensils, because real china, silverware and many other little snacks were provided(free of charge). What a find! For those of your picky Unilocalers, there is no «breakfast» at this B&B, but instead they leave you with nice biscuits/scones to accompany your free coffee or tea. You are within one block of the entire downtown Pescadero town, and naturally, you probably want to eat at Duarte’s anyway. I believe it has a 2 night minimum for one room at $ 98/night, other arrangements, see website or call Lisa. I will definitely be back, and after checking into the other B&B’s available in Pescadero, that this is the best priced, more welcoming place from Marin to Silicon! ~ Ms. Ali
