I enjoy this kind of one on one teaching very much, so my natural energy and enthusiasm come through and make the experience pleasant for the student. My main objective is to engage the student in conversation to put he or she at ease before we begin. As the lesson continues, I am constantly observing the student to make sure they stay focused and attentive. I have worked with both adults and children and my greatest satisfaction from tutoring happens when I see that light of understanding go off in someone’s head. I have always had a natural ability with numbers and words. I hold a Master’s Degree in Finance and I have completed a writing course with an accredited writing school. I have worked in financial services and I currently write a column for an online magazine. My real world experience can be a tremendous benefit to the student.
