History

Established in 1995.

Mark Yarbrough started Swedish Speed as a former Volvo Certified Master Mechanic working at a Volvo dealership in the Inland Empire. His extensive knoweldge and love for the Volvo line was a perfect fit; His shop opened in 1995 in Perris California, and he now boasts one of the largest and most extensive list of classic Volvo owers as clients. Swedish Speed is truely a one stop, bumper-​to-​bumper service center, that can meet any and all of your car’s or light truck needs. Mark has done complete restorations of over a dozen pre1975 models, and continues to service over 1500 customers from all over Southern California. Mark has been an ASE certified master mechanic and certified Master Volvo mechanic since 1986, and been working on Volvos since 1977. His love for cars extends beyond the shop, and races Stock Cars at Perris Auto Speedway Premier Dirt Track, and offers towing service with Champion Towing, another local business Mark owns.
