Shane’s Tint and Clear Bra

SUMMARY:
Purchased a 2016 Subaru Outback and had Shane install the Xpel Ultimate ¾ clear bra. Both Shane and Barbara were professional and courteous with up-​front pricing. Barbara even recommended a lower priced option stating that it’d be useless to spend money on a more expensive option on my car. This is a honest, detail-​oriented installer. The clear-​bra cured nicely with no air bubbles and it isn’t noticeable.
I had to leave the car over the weekend and they locked up the vehicle in their shop in a covered spot.
PROS:
— Flawless execution
— Excellent customer service
— Great, up-​front pricing and communication
— Honest
CONS:
— Slightly expensive — However, it is worth every penny spent. I’d much rather pay an extra couple of hundred dollars to ensure that the vehicle will be treated with care, and the installation will be perfect than having to correct a poor installation.
The XPEL Ultimate Clear-​Bra is notoriously difficult to install properly. If you want to be assured that the installation and workmanship is precise and top-​notch, go to Shane. You won’t be disappointed.

Film looks amazing and I am happy. Only constructive feedback? Be nice if they wiped down the interior after they were done.

Came in today (Friday, July 3, 2015) and Shane totally hooked up my black Infinity! Looks super clean. Prior to that I went to Danny’s car wash up the street and some dude with a colored tribal looking tattoo tried to rip me off. Shane did the job for ½ the price as the other guy. Many thanks Shane, I will come back again if I need my other car tinted too.

I had Shane redo the dealer tint on our new 2015 Kia Soul and add clear bra on the front. Barbara was very helpful with answering all my questions and providing a quote. The tint came out perfect, I couldn’t be happier. There were a few things I was unhappy with on the clear bra, mostly due to the design of the kit. But Shane custom modified the kit and redid the entire clear bra to make sure I was happy. I highly recommend Shane’s Tint and Clear Bra — I will be back myself for our next car.

Could not find a more professional place to do business with. Both Shane and Barbara took the time to explain the differences of product and show me on their cars too. Xpel products are the way to go and Shane’s is the place to get it… no question!

First time tinting a car outside of the dealer. I really wasn’t expecting such a high level of competence, knowledge and professionalism. They even let us know about a windshield repair we should do prior to purchasing an additional product we wanted. We really appreciate them looking out for us and not just taking the money and running. Onsite glass repair would be awesome, but we understand focusing on your product. We’ll be bringing more cars back and recommend you make an appointment today.

I had a very good visit and service there recently. Shane was very pleasant and took a lot of time to explain my options for tinting as this was my first time doing this. He answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I had one minor problem with the tint on 2 windows and the next day brought it back for recheck. Shane personally checked the windows out and replaced the tint on those windows — no questions asked. I was in and out in less than an hour. Pretty fast service! We appreciate that the owner takes the time to make things right. We would highly recommend his business for any tinting needs.

The whole process was very professional and well done. I had Xpel ultimate full hood placed onto my Cayman s and partial protection for wife’s cayenne with clearshield. The work was done exactly as promised and on time. Shane clearly takes pride in his work and is a stand up guy. When he noticed flaking from a bumper part, he offered to pay for it even though it is under warranty and I really don’t think he did anything to cause it. His prices are very competitive as well. I drove from Mesa to see him because of his great reviews!

I had my last car tinted at Danny’s down the street and they did an okay job for the price. Three years later, the film started showing some nicks and chips on both the driver and passenger film so I thought I would try out Shane’s due to the great reviews I found online.
Same day appointment, even though they appeared fairly busy, and my car took just under three hours, although I was a late appointment/​walk-​in. While I was waiting in their lobby (cable TV available for your enjoyment!), a Tesla owner came in for his car’s window tint. There were also new dealer vehicles in Shane’s parking lot, which I can only assume were in the queue for tint too.
I only got the dealer tint and not any of the fancy, specialized 3M stuff, but it looks great on my black 2013 Passat. Once I was able to roll my windows down, I noticed that the tint goes right up to the top of the window, with just a millimeter or two of non-​tinted glass showing. This was a big difference from Danny’s as they left at least a quarter inch of window untinted which now looks a bit amateur. Shane’s tint job looks seamless and much more professionally done than Danny’s finished product, although I can’t speak to the longevity of the product just yet.
So far, so good. I will be bringing my Pathfinder in for its tint job too. Believe it or not, I have received two compliments on the tint so far and I have referred those two friends over to Shane’s.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that they had the BEST price in town. Go see them and get your windows done there. The clear bra protection looked sweet too and if ever I decide to go with one, I will come here first.

Being new to the Phoenix area, I rely on Unilocal for a lot of things, Shane’s being one of them. Their work is fantastic and customer service excellent.

Just had my Malibu’s 2 front windows redone. I just bought this car with limo tint on it and I realized that I could not see my side mirrors. It drove me nuts! Unilocal to the rescue! I wanted to find a company close to my home and these guys worked out perfect. They are just around the corner from the mall so I went to see the Hangover 3, It worked out perfect! They did a great job and were able to schedule me the very next day. I saw some of the pictures of their work and was very impressed. They also install clear tint on the front of cars so that they do not chip or scratch… very cool. I would have done it except I own a Malibu… I know, pretty sad huh.

I’ve been researching window tint/​clear bra places for weeks and I’m happy to say that Shane’s Window Tint & Clear Bra is the place to take your car. I didn’t want my brand new Subaru BRZ in just anyone’s hands but only the most experienced and best. The customer service was great, phone was always picked up in a timely manner and the window tint /​clear bra job was flawless. They even let me watch. :) Shane is really great as well. He gave me some useful tips on how to properly wax over area where the clear bra was applied and how to maintain the clear bra. The also took care of my car like it was their own. :) Overall I’m very happy to have been referred there.
