We specialize in growing and selling orchids, including phalaenopsis, ondicium, miniature cattleya, dendrobium, and paphiopedilum orchids. We carry a wide variety of seedling size and blooming size orchids.

We are open Tuesday — Saturday by appointment. Please call before visiting.

In addition to live plants, we also carry a full line of orchid supplies, such as Dyna-​Gro orchid fertilizer, Humidi-​Grow moisture trays, and orchid potting mixes.

We also provide orchid services, including orchid repotting, orchid reblooming, and orchid boarding services. In addition, Susan is available to give orchid lectures to your group. Please call or email for more information.

Established in 1995.

Stony Brook Orchids was founded in 1995 to provide high quality phalaenopsis orchids to local enthusiasts. We have grown over the years and now carry wide variety of orchid genera. We also carry supplies and provide orchid services.

Business Owner

Plants have been my lifelong passion. I began this business to share my joy and enthusiasm for orchids with our customers. I’ve been growing orchids for over 30 years. I’m active in the American Orchid Society, the International Phalaenopsis Alliance, the Central Jersey Orchid Society, and the Delaware Valley Orchid Council.
