I started my review about 2 weeks ago but didn’t have the opportunity to post it. Here are my original opinions on Caleb’s: I visited Caleb’s for the first time on the way home from picking up my kids from school. My dad just moved up from Southern California & we were looking for a local place for him to get a decent quad espresso. So, we figured that we would give Caleb’s a try. We got the kids an ice cream cone. The ice cream was good. Although with the name Caleb’s Creamery, I expected the ice cream to be their own not a brand that I can buy at the market. My dad was very happy with the espresso. Not only was it good, but the price was decent. The price of the espresso was $ 2.48 after tax. A little cheaper than Starbucks and my dad wouldn’t have to drive the extra 7 minutes(each way) to Starbucks. We also prefer to support local businesses rather than a corporate store. My dad immediately became a daily customer. Every single morning he would head over to Caleb’s for his coffee. Then this Tuesday he went to Caleb’s and the price of his espresso was $ 3.01. He was rather shocked and asked the girl if something had changed. She replied telling him that they had a price increase. Here was no further explanation or anything. There had been no prior notice about the increase. I find it rather frustrating that the price was raised by over 20%. The price is now higher than Starbucks. I hope that the owners or management reconsiders how they execute a price increase. It would have been nice to have a little notice of a 20% price increase. I’m pretty disappointed.

I love this place. I swing by a lot of times right before I got to work and pick up some coffee. The owner and other employs are all really great. There’s nothing too fancy about it, just great service and good coffee and ice cream.

Great coffee and ice cream. Staff is very friendly and love the license plate décor. Wednesday nights between 5 to 8 is $ 1 night for cones. Great small town gathering place.

So happy to see that PV has an ice cream parlor and coffee place! Stopped in the other day to get a cone and it was packed! Service was fast and attentive and the ice cream was really good, I will definitely go back. Really cute décor and clean.
