McGee Superstore Pre-Owned Pembroke

I’m surprised there are only two reviews for these losers.
I stopped in the McGee in Hanover — they have (still have it on the lot 3 weeks later, but that is a different review) an Acura TL, same miles, same year, for 2k less (the only difference is the Hanover store’s car is blue, and Pembroke’s is Grey). I was told by both dealers the owners are cousins — basically sharing the McGee name to make their used car chain appear bigger… The DO NOT share inventory, and each will bash the others inventory (you know the deal — the others cars are the ones they didn’t want at the auction…). I really can’t believe they would openly bash the others cars, but…
So, like I said, I saw the TL at the Hanover location first, and then found the same car down the street at this store. The Hanover location let us leave to test drive the Pembroke’s car, sure «we would be back to get theirs.»
We get to Pembroke, and the car is inside in the show room all pretty-​looking and clean. I tell them the deal — I want to drive their car, I told them the sticker price of the other car, and what they were going to give me for the trade. The sales guy said «lets go over the numbers to make this work.»
FORTY FIVE minutes later they still 1) wanted me to pay the 2k more for their car, and 2) basically called me a liar that the other store wouldn’t give me what I told them they would for my trade. ALL THIS TIME the car THEY WANT ME TO SIGN FOR is still sitting behind the glass doors on the showroom floor. I don’t even know if the car starts! I figured this bullying tactic is something they would try on a 20 year old, but not a 40 year old…
F them. We left, and as of today (3 weeks later) the car is still inside their showroom and I have a new car from another dealer…

Update: ended up getting a great deal, easy transaction, and world class treatment from Copeland Toyota. Low payment, great car. F McGee. How do these guys stay in business?

A manager at this dealership told my toddler to «shut the fck up.»
If you want to read my whole sob story I have it on my website, but I was threatened not to post it, and forced to «sign a paper» swearing I would never talk about it again. I faked my signature.
Yeah, there’s a lot more to the story, but, just go to the BBB and look them up.
