Bought a Mercedes convertible from them. Car fax said it had frame damage. I insisted Mercedes of Hanover check the car out for me first. John said sure, he knows the guys there, so I paid out of my pocket to have it checked out. His «friends» at Mercedes of Hanover said the car was fine, no frame damage, and the warranty was 100% valid. Guess what, roof leaks, car has frame damage and now Mrecedes says the warranty is no good. What a bunch of scam artists. See you in court, and that’s a statement of fact, not an empty threat. Avoid these people and Mercedes of Hanover. They clearly run a scam together.

I have purchased several cars from this dealer and always had good luck. The repair shop is much less than what you would pay at the dealerships as well. I went to Land Rover and wanted to trade in my used Mercedes toward a new Land Rover. The Land Rover dealer offered me $ 500 for my trade in. I knew that was crap so I went back to Auto, Etc. They gave me $ 5,000 for my trade toward a newer car.

Two weeks ago I bought my first Mercedes-​Benz at Auto Etc. I had been scoping out prices on the web for a few weeks, trying to get a feel for value in this market. I came across a car in their inventory that had many fewer miles and was much less expensive than what I saw on any MB dealer’s inventory, certified or not. On a very rainy day I went to look at the car. I met the owner, Carl and his son John. Carl and I spoke for a little while and the next thing I knew I was test driving the vehicle. I did my due diligence and explored other vehicles at other dealers, but found that I was most comfortable in the MB and with Carl and John. I went back with my wife, she saw and rode in the car, we talked with Carl and John and I was able to negotiate what I thought was a good discount off their asking price. I found everyone at Auto Etc. to be very personable and easy to deal with. I am very happy with my ‘new’ car and the whole purchasing experience. I would totally recommend Auto Etc. to anyone.

This place is horrible. The owner is one of rudest and most unprofessional people I’ve ever met. I looked at one of his cars and when I tried to bargain with him regarding the price, he immediately started screaming and hollering at me and telling me that I didn’t know what I was talking about. Seriously??? Doesn’t this guy know that ALL customers are going to try to get the salesperson to give them the very best offer? If the owner is going to get angry every time a customer tries to negotiate a price, then he really needs to find a new line of business. This guy is RIDICULOUS and incredibly immature. After dealing with the owner’s temper tantrum, I quickly left Autos, Etc. and went to a professional auto dealer where I ended up getting almost the exact same car for $ 4,000 less than the price quoted at Autos, Etc. I would NEVER, EVER recommend Autos, Etc. to anyone. If you want to negotiate with a truly professional salesperson, then go to a professional dealership where the salespeople are willing to bargain with their customers and meet the customers halfway. Autos, Etc. is «the pits!!»
