Express Rolls

This place is decent. We got the shrimp bowl and the starter sushi box. The sushi wasn’t fresh and they were stingy with the shrimp in my bowl. It’s also a bit pricey, we spent $ 21 for our two meals and one drink and one of us was still hungry afterwards. The Pros of this place is it’s convenient and you don’t have to wait to order your food. I mean what can you expect with a place that says express rolls, right? It’s fast, convenient, and decent.

Strange, my kids and I went for phở. The employee showed us the food and told me everything is made in the corporate kitchen and delivered, you can take it with you or we can warm it up here. So we left and went to NAM which is in the same shopping center.

The food is good I had the salmon teriyaki bento box. I’m not sure if this is similar to one of those my fit foods, but the food is already packaged and the employees heat it up for you. The portions are small, but I think it’s what is recommended like dietary guideline wise.

Just got lunch with the wife. Excellent! Great food and quick for anything that needs to be prepped on the spot. I had the pork rice bowl it had amazing flavor and the rice was great. The wife had the chicken V-​bowl she loved it. Then we split a Smokey Sushi Box. Will definitely be back again!!!

My new favorite place. It’s clean and the staff was very nice & helpful! I tried a sample of the Strawberry & mango spring roll, it was so good and fresh. Got the brown rice and chicken bowl and is exactly what I needed. Clean, healthy and fresh. The chicken is well seasoned. I wasn’t expecting it to be so juicy and tasty. I was worried because they heat it in a microwave for you but you totally cannot tell. I will be back.
I gave it only 4 stars because I haven’t tried much of the menu yet. But I do really like this chicken brown rice bowl. Perfect for after my workouts.

Pretty good for a «grab and go,» type of sushi. It’s prepackaged into plastic containers and individual sushi pieces. I would recommend and I would revisit.

Was on my way to Panera when I noticed Express Rolls right next to it. The place looked all fresh and shiny and of course new. When I walked in I noticed it was the same concept as My Fit Foods. It’s where food is already prepared and you just pick what you want from the shelves. They’ll heated up if you want to eat it there or you can get it to go. The young staff there or very knowledgeable. The blonde hair blue-​eyed young man walk me through each and every item offered there. He definitely knew the products present. His cadence was slow and clear as to give me time to absorb and understand what he was saying and to ask questions if I had any. I chose a chicken Bento box and fruit sushi rolls both were very delicious. I will be visiting this place again. Yummy!

Pretty decent quality and price. First time trying their sushi and chicken teriyaki bento box today. My husband and I both got different flavor of Honest Tea (a drink). That too was a decent price and it was organic. Better than a lot of sushi restaurants out here. I’m a sushi lover and I don’t like going to eat sushi by myself. Now I can just come to this store to grab some sushi and go home and eat. Don’t even gotta wait. Will definitely come back here some time to try out their other stuff.

This place is similar to Snap Kitchen except it makes Asian fusion food. I was kind of hesitant because I’m not a big fan of of reheating food, but I was proved wrong! The taste was absolutely delicious! I do love the mango sushi, its great for low-​carb dieters! Overall, I will be going back to buy for meal prep.

Since this place is relatively new, I thought I’d give it a try to see if it’s really the new sushi place to be. The place is brightly lit and the staff is quite friendly but since this is only the first week of its debut I can’t say much about this yet, but this is subject to change. What’s different about this particular joint is that you can just com in and grab whatever sushi you want. They serve everything in twos so it does add some variety to it. I tried some of the shrimp tempura roll and a summer roll and they were subpar at best. The summer roll was pretty fresh and the chicken they used in it was surprisingly flavorful! The shrimp tempura roll was not the best, bland at best but it did have some roe in it which was a nice bonus! There’s not a whole lot of variety in the menu but they do offer hot food like phở and bento boxes. I have yet to try those but am hesitant to after my experience with the basic shrimp tempura roll. If you’re really hungry for some sushi you could give this a try but it may be a good idea to forgo this for HEB sushi or Kroger Sushi if you’re really looking for some express sushi.

This place is very well put together the service is great and the food options are the absolute best. It’s a healthy convenient stop for my favorite type of food which is sushi.
Once I saw the sushi spring rolls I got pretty excited and saw the rest of the great options. Great place, friendly staff, clean establishment and very very good fresh food. This place is just what I needed.

Today my family and I tried this place for the first time and it was excellent. The food was very fresh and delicious. They have it set up so you can quickly pick up your food and eat it at home or eat there. My husband loved the avocado miso soup. I had a sampler of sushi and wraps that were all fantastic with great sauces. My kids had bento boxes which gave them a great variety of food. It was a quick, easy and well priced lunch that was healthy. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. We will defiantly be back!

I just stopped in to check the place out. A new concept. They package most of their sushi in 2 piece packs. The idea is to be able to get a variety of sushi for the same price as a larger roll of one kind. Pretty neat idea. The samples I had were good. They prepare their food in a central kitchen in houston daily and deliver to their local locations. This is the first location. They said they have 10 other Houston area locations planning to open soon as well. They are planning on having their grand opening in area couple of weeks. Today was day 1 of soft opening. I’ll update my review with food and service commentary when I come back.
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food the process and the business. Place was modern looking and spacious. I have actually thing for less is more and they hit it right. Thebowner and head chef were here and talking to folks that came through. Seemed like nice folks. They offered to out me on a promotions list for their grand opening. That was nice of them! Creepy mannequin out front though, holding a sign. That’s actually what got my interest in the first pllace. See the pic. Well played!
