The food is great, but a little pricey(but it’s the closest Korean place). There’s only one good counter person and the rest are garbage. I ask for EXTRA hot sauce and she tells me it’s in the container. I know it comes with sauce, I want extra. Charge extra for it, whatever, but don’t give me attitude. You don’t have to glare at me with your RBF when I ask again, it really kills my appetite. From now on, if that one person isn’t working, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Oh, and by the way, I asked to try the noodles before I ordered it because the other time I went, it was spoiled. Today it was bland and had no flavor

My go to place when Im hungry for Korean Food. I always get the usual meat jun and the family gets the bar b q chicken and wife gets b-bim-bop with chicken. Its right down the road from where and live and they have good food for a good price. they give a lot of food for the money and I always leave full when I leave this place. I recommend this place to others and will be eating here for future to come.

About a week and a half ago, I purchased a couple side dishes, $ 5 each or so. One of the side dish I purchased, the potato with mayo mix, was NOTFULLY cooked. I only realized it when I ate it an hour later with my dinner. I was quite disappointed and more so I had wasted $ 5 on it. Yes expensive side dish. So a warning, if you choose this particular side dish with your plate lunch order or separately, ask for sample, to ensure it is fully cooked.

Yummy korean bbq is definitely yummy! I ordered the spicy pork, with the tofu, kimchee, noodles, and cucumber. With the regular plate they give you four choices, and with the mini plate they give you two choices. Really tasty and they give a generous amount for a $ 10. They always have a wide variety of vegetables over ice to choose from, don’t know how long it’s been sitting out but it looks fresh. Coming back when I’m craving korean bbq again!

This place is amongst a few other restaurants located in a food court by the Don Quijote. It feels like the food court was sort of just inserted as a last-ditch effort to make the area seem more approachable and worthwhile. The place itself is decent. Nothing that will amaze you to the point of cocking your head back with excitement and awe, nor does it let you down profusely with sighs of defeat and depression. I had the Bibimbap and it did its job: filled me up with a content feeling of satisfaction for the world… but didn’t make me want to go out and be superman like when I eat at other places. Like another reviewer said; they’re generous with the meat. Even so with the sides. I liked the seasoned seaweed the most out of the 4 offered for the plate. The rice is buried underneath the sides/meat while the fried egg is laid on top. Everything was proportioned just right. Because you know, not having enough rice(or meat) to compensate the amount of meat(or rice) is a sin. The area you eat in isn’t clean. Straight up. Go to your car, go home, get on the bus, or go walk around like a starved looking zombie. Just don’t eat there. Trashcans were overflowing, flies were abundant, and to say the partitions and tables needed cleaning is an understatement. Place needed a holy water blessing and maybe an exorcism. Okay I’m exaggerating, but it could of been cleaned a bit better.

More like 3.5 I have been to Yummy’s in Pearl City many times. First thing that you notice is that the tables and chairs are all dirty. I’ll never sit there. I also see birds flying around in the establishment, and old people dropping food for the birds. Watching that kind of makes me sick. Anyways the Food is very good and they do have a lot of vegetables in it. I never have problems with the food, but the only thing I dislike is the birds flying around.

I go to this yummy’s location a lot. It’s located right outside of Don Quijote’s in the food court. I never eat inside just because it doesn’t look very clean in there and it smells kind of funny in there so I always end up eating in my car or taking the food home. They’re generous with the amount of meat they give you and the entrees are always freshly cooked! They have a large variety of vegetables to choose from for your sides, but I’m not too sure how fresh they are or how long they’ve been sitting out. They just have the vegetables sitting on ice. Each full entrée comes with 3 vegetables which is always too much for me but I try to eat as much as I can before I regret not eating it the next day! 2 entrees usually can feed my whole family of 5(with 3 young children) so that should explain how much food they give you! Feeding a family of 5 for under $ 25 is a deal to me!

We were ravenous after touring Pearl Harbor and came here on a recommendation from my friend who lives in Oahu. Pros: Affordable, fast, and filling! We ate until we were full(all 5 of us) and still had a box of leftovers for dinner. Each entrée comes with rice and 3 vegetables so we had lots and lots of side dishes: bean sprouts, cabbage, potatoes, kimchi, sweet corn, sweet potato noodles(japchae). Con: We didn’t realize it was built into the Don Quijote shopping center and had trouble finding it, and almost drove away to find a different lunch option. Luckily they answered our phone call and directed us to the food court. Best part of our meal: the bulgogi! delicious authentic Korean BBQ beef. The barbecue chicken was also very flavorful and tender, not too dry!

I love yummy BBQ but was not a fan of this location. Food tasted kind of blah and the location dirty.

I am a big fan of Yummy’s Korean BBQ since they first opened. I’ve been to almost all locations and I must say the Pearl Ridge Mall food court location has the best portions and quality of food. Let’s just say when I order a combo made for two people, it really can feed 3.

I grew up on Yummys. To me, Yummys is local comfort food and tonight I regret to say that Yummy Korean bbq has failed me. First I got stink eye from the cashier. I mean since when is it wrong to sub an extra vegetable choice for rice? And the next lady, I felt, was over stingy on my kimchee, sprouts, chop chae, and choy sum. Its ok though cause I didn’t eat it anyway. It was tasteless. My steaming hot seaweed soup had one chunk of beef, well beef fat floating in the middle. Little bits of fat pieces made it really hard to enjoy. Needless to say I mooched on my bfs McDonald’s and enjoyed it more. That’s pretty sad. I don’t like writing bad reviews but tonight I had to, for more than one reason.

Oh how I heart Yummy. This one though, kinda wigged me out because as we were eating in the food court area, a roach popped up on the side of our table. Made me wonder what it looked like in the back… The one in Ala Moana seemed cleaner.

It’s Korean. It’s Yummy. Plus you get to pick FOUR(4) side orders. I think the large portions are a major reason that I get fat when I come to Hawaii.
