She has 25 years of outstanding medical experience from elite institutions like MGH, BIDMC and Yale Medical Center.
She has dedicated many years in developing expertise in aesthetic medicine under the guidance of many pioneers in laser and aesthetic medicine. She built her practice with the best technologies such as Ultherapy, Coolsculpt, Kybella, Clear &Brilliant laser, Vampire Face Lift etc.Dr. Shanthala performs all the injectables such as Fillers and Botox and is an MD trainer for Bellafill Fillers. ShanthalaMD is the only physician practice in the Northshore of Boston offering Dualsculpting with Coolsculpt Body Contouring and Ultherapy being performed by physician. At ShanthalaMD all patients are evaluated by an onsite physician and most procedures performed by an MD.

Business Owner
Dr. Shanthala Shivananjappa is an extremely talented and invested physician. She has been practicing medicine for over twenty years, having been trained at Harvard, Yale, and by some of the best dermatologists and plastic surgeons in the country. Her extensive knowledge of medicine, paired with years of training in aesthetic procedures, have enabled Dr. Shanthala to provide her patients with an unrivalled care. But in addition to expertise, Dr. Shanthala offers her patients something more: compassion. Every individual who walks through her door is treated more as a friend than as a potential client. She takes the time to listen to, understand, and explain the procedures to all of her patients because she believes that a healthy, trusting relationship between doctor and patient is just as important as the outcome of the procedure itself.
