I was looking for a new groomer because mine had moved to a location that was no longer convenient so i took a chance on Scrub a Dog. I have a one ½ year old golden who loves to swim and roll in the woods. He constantly gets mats and quickly starts to smell after his bath so I had Kerri give him a complete shave. She gave him an awesome puppy cut and he now looks like a fuzzy bear which will be great for the summer. This was his first grooming and I expected him to be a nervous wreck but he was sitting on the floor lounging when I got there. I got the first appointment of the day and while I had to wait a little while for her to show up, she did finish the grooming when she said she would. I would recommend this place.

I have been bringing my Mom’s dog for a few years here and recently my own dog as well. Today was the last straw. I know this young girl took over the business and I gave her many chances hoping she would succeed but she is so utterly unprofessional it is staggering. Four times I have made appointments with her for 8:30 am. The first time I arrived promptly at 8:30 the door was locked I sat in the parking lot until 9 leaving her phone messages and finally I had to turn around and take the 2 dogs home. I fb messaged her thinking something must have happened she finally replied apologizing. Okay I gave her another chance made another appointment for the next week at 8:30 she showed up at 9:05 then a month or so later made another 8:30 appointment again shows up at 9. I told her what is the sense of 8:30 appointments if she can’t be there. Two weeks ago brought my moms dog for 10:30 she was there. I made an appointment for today 8:30 with my dog. She guaranteed me she would be there. Arrived today 8:30 waited 9:00 no show I called she answered I said I’m outside but the door is locked. She said oh I’m off today I’m not there. Shame on me! I am done with this place she should really start running this correctly what a shame. Was able to bring my dog over to Bayla at The Elegant Paw not only were they simply wonderful, friendly and professional they were $ 20 cheaper and the dog came out absolutely beautiful. She should get minus stars!

@ weeks ago I took my cat in for grooming. I made the appointment asking for a morning with only a few dogs, Yah right! Was given a 10:30 appt! We arrived a few minures early, the barking was unbearable. We were «greeted» by the redhead, she never gave her name. She got pissy when I said I would be waiting for my cat (are you kidding, you expect me to leave my baby with you???) And would NOT allow me to go in with my baby, NOT!
So she grabbed my carrier after waiting about a ½ hour (why did I make an appointment?) Immediately came back out, it was all she could do not to throw the carrier at me, stating The cat’s too matted” Spun on her heel and walked away with out another word… What a bitch! WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! The redhead needs to learn customer service with courtsey! Again WHAT A BITCH! The new owners suck! Found a wonderful place in Beverly! THIS PLACE
SUCKS THE BIG DOG BONER!

Indya is a wonderful animal lover that really listens to an owners needs. I have three Westies with three different personalities, and she caters to them and my fears for them. My oldest is diabetic and he was blind for a few months, and I never worried while he was with her. He’s been her customer for all his ten years! We love the service, and we are treated like great friends.

Kerri is the best groomer! I have brought my dog here for his grooming since August 2013. She is great with my dog and gives and excellent cut! I have a Mini Schnauzer /​Maltese mix and she has given him both types of hair cuts. He comes home pristine. I have never had a bad experience with this pet spa, even with the change in ownership.

I brought my cat Christoph and received a wonderful haircut. Indya was very sweet and made my cat feel very comfortable… Happy cat happy mommy !!!

I was need of pet groomer to cut my little dalmatian’s nails and maybe give her scrub down. I’m always on the lookout for small family owned businesses and this place caught my eye. I was pleased with the experience and will definitely come back!

Tried Scrub a Dog in September for the first time (and last) time. My dog seemed traumatized and shaken for the rest of the day and was limping. The owner was not very friendly at pickup, and the cut was not very good. Go anywhere else.
