Specialties
Abruzzi Trattoria features a unique blend of authentic Italian cuisines prepared with modern techniques. Serving dishes from Italy’s central region, meats and vegetables join the pasta parade. Our atmosphere is spirited and welcoming to families and couples alike.
Abruzzi Trattoria takes pride in distinguishing ourselves. All of our dishes are made to order which allows flexibility to customize entrees. In addition we take pride in getting to know our patrons and cater to them, making them feel as if they are part of the family.
Abruzzi Trattoria is known for hosting and catering top-notch events. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure every last detail is perfect. The décor of our dining room combined with our linen covered tables makes for chic, sophisticated events. Such events include baby/bridal showers, birthday parties, anniversary parties, christenings, graduation parties and weddings.
History
Established in 2004.
Prior to opening Abruzzi Trattoria almost 9 years ago, owner Eleanor Nurzia operated a small but successful Italian restaurant a few miles away. After outgrowing the building, Abruzzi opened its doors in April 2004.
Due to the loyalty of our guests, we have had the privilege of serving up a great, fun experience to compliment the outstanding food. We take pride in the many relationships struck up within the confines of our upscale yet casual environment.
As the years have gone by, we have consistently updated our menus and wine lists, as well as improvements to the building (interior and exterior) as well as the kitchen.
One of the things we are most proud of is our loyal staff, some of whom have been with us since we opened in 2004. Most of the remaining staff have been with us multiple years as well. This is not only a testament to the positive working environment we try to foster but also to how much we enjoy our guests.
