The Creekside Bed and Breakfast

A little slice of heaven. Amy was a gracious and friendly hostess. Wonderful, quiet off the path (which we loved) comfortable room. Loved listening to the crickets and other animals from our private deck. So tired of hotel rooms, this was an excellent change. And the bottle of wine left for us, and the tasty breakfast on our deck made us feel right at home. We’ll be back! Thanks Amy!

The owner was welcoming. It is a bit off the beaten path but Über knows it well. We stayed in the barrel room which was roomy, clean and well appointed. Instead of the usual pod coffee maker, it came with fresh beans and a grinder along with a nice selection of teas with both and automatic makers for each. Bathroom had nice toiletries, good quality towels and robes for our use. Warm day but there is a wood burning stove. $ 15 extra for breakfast was a steal. Large house made croissants, organic berries, crisp bacon and organic OJ. One of our croissants was stuffed with spinach and cheese the other with ham & cheese. We split in half and shared. I highly recommend!

I have stayed at many B&B’s and this was THE BEST B&B EXPERIENCE YET! Enjoyed it so much we are booking our next stay now!
The location is ideal to some of the best wineries in PR. Tom and Amy provided excellent winery recommendations as well as restaurants in town. One of our favorite recommendations was Pasolivo — olive oil — fantastic experience! If you want to visit Cambria, San Simeon or other coastal — it’s an easy and pretty short drive from the B&B.
Tom and Amy are wonderful! Warm, welcoming and accommodating! Perfect balance of giving guests privacy and socializing (they are fun/​funny/​great people). The breakfasts are delicious and filling — no continental breakfast at Creekside B&B!

Even better in person! While creek side looks lovely and clean in pictures, the live version is a little slice of heaven. Part of the wonderful experience was due to our hosts, Amy and Tom who were so hospitable and accommodating, genuinely so. As a couple, we stayed in the creek side suite, which allowed us access to a grill, a private kitchen and patio. There was nothing better than sipping wine on the patio overlooking a pasture with grazing cows. Along with the great room and views, the inn is right in the middle of wine tasting haven– would highly recommend this hideaway!

Enjoyed a great stay at The Creekside Bed and Breakfast, will stay there for sure next time i’m traveling through Paso Robles.
The location is amazing, turn off a quaint road surrounded by vineyards onto an adorable property. The guest rooms are in a renovated barn and offer all the comforts of home with that extra touch (like make-​up removers in the bathroom) to ensure you have a great stay.
I stayed 1 night with my friend and our 2 dogs ($ 25 fee per dog per night — very reasonable). Amy, the owner, greeted us and gave us a tour of our room and the shared outdoor space. She thought of everything and our stay was great. We stayed in Room with a View which offers 2 beds, one is tucked into it’s own little room with a door and the other is in the main space in it’s own nook (think studio apartment). The main space included a kitchen and dinning room area as well as a sitting area in front of a large gas fireplace. We had more than enough space inside and were also able to enjoy a large back yard area with a fire pit and magic night lighting. My favorite magical touch were the bathrobes — they were made of clouds and hugged you better than anything else you can think of. What an amazing way to wrap up a relaxing day in wine country then to curl up in the most comfortable bathrobe ever in front of a fire — I wish i was back there now!
Amy also gave us some great recommendations for dog friendly restaurants in town for dinner and breakfast as we opted to grab our own breakfast as we were only in town for a short stay. Amy does provide a breakfast if you’d prefer to enjoy your morning on the property for an additional cost.
A++ for this little gem — go book your stay now!

Our wedding anniversary getaway was just so perfect. I didn’t think my husband could of pulled it off haha but he did thanks to u guys. Great choices from wine tasting to restaurants. We love the creek side view and omg can u have made the most delicious breakfast. So simple but yet so filling. Such a great experience and can’t wait to come back and experience more!!! My husband and I love this place! We recently visited for the second time and were not disappointed. The accommodations are fantastic and the breakfasts were delicious. Amy set us up with some private tastings that we loved. If you’re a bike rider, you’ll love the location. There are a number of different rides (from easy to challenging) right out your door. For pet owners that like to travel with their pets, it’s perfect! We will be back!

Best weekend ever! This was the first B&B I’d ever been to and Tom and Amy could not have made it a more perfect stay. The room feels like home, the beds and luxury robes are sooo comfortable, and the homemade breakfasts (which they set up right out your front door on the deck) are to die for. They were the perfect balanced hosts of being attentive and giving us privacy too. Any time I come back to Paso, this is the only place I’ll stay. Thank you so much!

Tom & Amy are FANTASTIC! My fiancé recently surprised me for my 40^th birthday and set up a weekend at Paso Robles. She chose Creekside Inn and we must say it was and is a cant miss. From the quaint, farmhouse room with a view to the modern amenities to the outdoor fire pit (and complimentary smores set up) to the wine tasting itinerary they set up to the delicious breakfast they provide it was a 10 out of 10. This has truly been a birthday to remember and Tom and Amy’s help was nothing short of extraordinary. If your looking for a wonderful stay in Paso Robles, Creekside Inn is a must try.

BEWARE — DO NOT BOOK ON EXPEDIA! You won’t have a room!
This B&B looked lovely and well reviewed, so I booked over a month in advance on
. It is a wine pickup weekend, so rooms would be in short supply. I was looking forward to trying a new cozy place (or so I thought!).
Less than 2 weeks before our reservation, I receive a phone call saying that Creekside gave our room away. Upon inquiring further, I learned that this establishment will CANCEL reservations booked on
if someone calls and books directly through them (perhaps at a higher rate?). Needless to say, being a pickup weekend, I was left high and dry and had to stay miles outside of Paso on such short notice.
The business practices of this establishment are negligent at best and fraudulent at worst. Buyer beware!

Impressed! First time staying at a b&b. Linens and bed were like 5 star hotel and the pictures don’t do the place justice. Owners Tom and Amy greeted us to let us know how everything worked in the barn house room and made sure warm lava cake was ready upon arrival (with bottle of wine). Before arrival they sent us list of restaurants we might like — restaurants we tried from the list were delicious. Upon arrival we got an itinerary for wineries to visit the next day. Also got yummy anniversary treat when we returned. The hosts are definitely top notch.
Only downside is that you can hear everything in the upper room if you do not rent out the entire place.

Great place with great owners. Tom and Amy are great hosts. Tones of wineries in the area and if you aren’t sure which ones to visit, Tom and Amy are there to help. We stayed in the Creekside room, good size and clean. Amazingly comfortable bed. You won’t be disappointed.

Amy and Tom have the perfect romantic get-​away for anyone wanting a little taste of Paso Robles wineries.
The rooms are very nicely decorated. The bed was soooooo comfortable. The surrounding grounds are nicely kept. Being pet friendly, they were a top choice. After staying, I would recommend them for everyone.
As for Amy and Tom, you will not find two nicer people. They are very kind and attentive. Their recommended wineries were excellent. They also arranged a couple private tastings, which we enjoyed immensely.
We will be using them again the next time we come to town.

We were invited to a wine opening event over at Aron Hill Winery on 11÷15÷14. Since we live a few hours away we decided to find a place in Paso Robles and do some tastings the following day. You would think that with all of the wineries up & down Vineyard Dr. that there would be plenty of places to stay, but this is not the case. My search left me with 2 options; 1 of them being The Creekside B&B. I booked the «Room with a View» online through Travelocity & received my confirmation the next day.
A few days before I received a call from the owner to confirm our reservation & arrival time. My girlfriend & I drove down that Saturday, with about 20 minute to go we received another call asking if we received an email with gate details from Travelocity & requesting an updated ETA. I told her I had my confirmation & we were about 20 min away. She mentioned she might not be ready but would meet us at the door… might not be ready, for what? We arrived and realized that the confirmation email did not have the gate code so I called The Creekside back & they provided. (I apologize as I have forgotten the owner’s names)
We parked outside the main house and as we were walking up were greeted by one of the owners. We opened the office door & there was the other owner rushing out to meet us… with treats! She had been baking a small molten chocolate cake for us that she wanted to be finished right as we arrived… a pleasant surprise! She introduced herself and took us to the barn where she gave us a tour of the surrounding areas & our room. She gave us the cake she had made with a bottle of wine from a local winery… they were both delicious.
The room was great, nice & large with a fire place & sitting area. It has a small kitchen, but a nice little dining area. The kitchen has a microwave (w/​popcorn), a coffee maker & grinder. As you enter the room there is a nice deck which has a seating area. The bed was comfy, the bathrooms had everything we needed (soaps, lotions, robes). There is a small tv above the fire w/​a dvd player & direct tv. This was nice as I got to watch the early NFL games before checking out at noon.
We were given 2 times slots for breakfast; we opted for the 10:30am slot so we could sleep in. The breakfast was delicious and was the perfect portion, it left us both feeling satisfied.
The owners were very nice, great cooks and the room was great. They seemed to be very passionate about the B&B. We are definitely looking forward to going back.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Per the owners, there has been a problem with Expedia overbooking, then canceling rooms without emailing the customer, as was the case with our reservation. They knew there was a problem with this and choose not to call us to make sure we were informed. After our 5 hour drive we arrived and were greeted with a glass of wine and a sorry, we have no room for you. After an hour the owner told us that because we were both Marines he would take care of us, and offered to let us stay in their guest room for the night. A very generous offer, except that when we returned from dinner the doors were locked and they weren’t answering their phones (that we could hear ringing in the house). We were left there at midnight, standing in their yard with nowhere to go. With no other hotels open due to the Savor Festival we were left with no choice but to drive the 5 hours back home, our weekend ruined. As I write this its been over 24 hours and have received no phone call or even an email to apologize or see what happened to us. Beautiful place, definitely has potential, unfortunately very unprofessional management.

With that teaser we were very excited about staying at this particular B & B located on Vineyard Drive just 2 miles off of 46 West — perfect after a day of wine tasting! But we had no idea we’d be in for some news…
Teckmans Sell Creekside B&B
Look for Per Cazo Cellars and Paso Port Wine Company to merge into one, known simply under the Paso Wine Company name, as the two are combining, at the same time the Teckmans have sold the Creekside B&B. That was the first thing Lynne Teckman told us after greeting us.
I can’t imagine how the Teckmans could let the place be sold! But Lynne and her husband Dave needed to be more at hand for aged parents, as most of us do, and keeping the winery was enough. She found that a couple from Bakersfield had caught the Inn-​bug too and was thrilled that they would be taking over the day-​to-​day operations and ownership.
Lynne then led us up to our «Room With a View» and explained the amenities that included the usual suspects like thirsty terrycloth robes, bottled water and a blow drier. However, amenities also included an electric fireplace, a second bedroom, a large private deck, locally made and yummy-​scented bath supplies, coffee beans to grind to your liking, and a bottle of Per Cazo wine to pair with zinfandel-​laced brownies.
We settled in, had our wine and brownies, then toured the green, inviting grounds. We ran into Dave Teckman and he, in turn, ran us into the pet goats on the property as he fed peanuts to Heidi and Templeton.
Steve said they were «moving back to Nashville, Tennessee» where the couple had lived nearly 15 years ago. They would return to Paso for events, but their partner and winemaker, Steve Glossner, was definitely remaining at Paso Wine Company. (Glossner was making his port-​styled wine for Paso Port when they originally all met.) goat one creekside
And though the Teckmans will not be living in Paso full time, it hasn’t slowed their desire to grow in the area. Paso Wine Co. would soon, this year, be producing spirits (Grappa, Brandy and more) through their new licensed distillery, as well as continuing to produce wines from sparkling through to Port.

Great mom and pop b&b in the heart of wine country. Lynne and Dave go all out for their guests, including extremely clean rooms, the most comfortable bed you’ve ever slept in, and absolutely amazing breakfasts homemade every morning– including whole bean coffee you can grind fresh every morning.
They also own their own label, Per Cazo, and tasting with them is just as great as staying with them. You can’t find a better spot in Paso Robles!
