Specialties
Welcome to Seven Quails, an intimate, luxurious two suite Paso Robles California bed and breakfast for four to six people. Roosting on a hilltop with a necklace of vineyards, the Inn is located just west of Paso Robles amongst California wine country’s answer to the terroir of France’s Rhone Valley, the west side vineyards of Paso Robles. Sip aromatic coffee on your patio in the morning as the sun warms the spring almond orchards, or at night as the moon cools the lawn. Stride beyond the vineyard where deer, fox, red-tail hawks, wild turkeys and rabbits with cotton ball tails share your Serengeti. Get comfy with a good book in a room peppered with antiques, contemporary fixtures and gallery art. Sample wine with the owner/winemaker. Our home is your home.
If you visit our web site, www.sevenquails.com, you may notice our disdain for single evening bookings. We view Seven Quails as a destination bed and breakfast, a place our guests come to relax for a few days, not arrive late one afternoon then rush off to their next destination early the next morning. That type of travel is better suited to a hotel so we encourage those who are trying to cram the most into a week on the Central Coast of California to consider the quality of their visits, not the sheer number of places visited. In less subtle language: there is a two evening minimum booking for all rooms.
History
Established in 2007.
We love people, cooking, entertaining, have a reasonably sized under utilized home with an encircling vineyard situated on the top of a hill providing 360 degree views.
Conclusion: Good place and good occupants for a B&B. Note: We are also a bonded winery, i.e., Seven Quails produces wine commercially in very limited quantities (zins and cabs).
It’s not work when you love what you’re doing.
