History

Established in 2005.

After leaving the Bay Area metro for a small town environment, Karen and I realized that there wasn’t a paper store in the Paso Robles area. Originally on Park Street, our new location at 1306A Pine Street is becoming more comfortable by the day. We were borne out of a ten year business in Los Gatos called Out of the Envelope. We have many years of retail experience, but are always ready for the next great idea. We do invitations and announcements for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, bereavement, as well as everyday and seasonal gift and laugh out loud greeting cards.

Business Owner

Karen and I have been together for 30 years, the last ten years working side by side. We love what we do and have always been in one form of retail or another. Karen has a wonderful knack for creating beautiful invitations, while I focus on our 22 lines of greeting cards. We share gift ideas and really enjoy going to gift shows and finding new stuff. We have 3 great kids, a wonderful golden retreiver, and 5 cats. Come share our passion for our work at Sealed with a Kiss.

This is the second time I’ve used Sealed With a Kiss for my daughters’ wedding invitations, programs, table cards, etc. Karen is amazing to work with, her prices are as reasonable as anything you could find online, and it’s so nice to work with a real person rather than to try to figure out the intricacies of online ordering. I can’t say enough good things about working with Karen and Dana.

Just picked up my bridal shower invites, and they look great!!! The quality and design is absolutely wonderful! Not to mention, the price can’t be beat!!! The owners are super friendly, and are easily able to accommodate any wishes you might have. Their store has so many cute items to browse at as well!

The customer service is excellent & the products you receive is the same quality. I have had 3 events that they helped design and print everything from signs to menus & all came out perfect. The quality is very high end but the prices are so reasonable I kept thinking I was going to get some Staples quality products. It was better then any stationary or etsy store. I got so many compliments at my last wedding. Go in & meet the owners yourself, you will not be disappointed. Karen also has great handwriting that will charge a small fee to write anything on chalkboards or glass windows. I am on my way over today to have her do some last minutes signs for a wedding this weekend. Did I mention they have the cutest cards in the county?!

Love their store and their new location is even better (bigger?). Anyways– they couple that runs it are so very helpful and friendly. If they don’t have what you’re looking for they’ll order it or tell you where you can find it. They have beautiful cards by local artists and lots of beautiful or funny gifts. And their themed hats and headbands are always a hit at our parties.

There is a reason I do all my invitations and holiday cards by phone and email from the bay area to Paso Robles. There is no better stationer in the business. She will find any theme, embellish the card and come up with wording that is witty. Yes, its easy to send an evite but it doesn’t get anybody excited, it doesn’t set a theme and it does’n’t get saved for a scrapbook. She also did last minute place cards for my event as well as custom thank you notes.

I was in Paso Robles for a wedding this past weekend and, as these things go, we were in a rush to print a copy of the vows before the ceremony. After we struggled to find a place, Sealed popped up on Unilocal and then literally answered the call when I rang them with our emergency. The woman who answered immediately out our minds at ease and told us to come on down!
Bittersweetly, we were shortly called back to the base camp as the printing was no longer needed, but I thought Sealed deserved a shout out anyway!

What’s not to like about Paso Robles? Super cute town, excellent wine, sunshine most of the time… Such a great little town!
After lunch, we popped into Sealed With A Kiss and I found some excellent thank you cards, along with The New Yorker cartoon stationery.
Our favorite?
A picture of a bear, seated at a nice restaurant, menu open saying:
«I shouldn’t, but I’m going to have the garbage.»
So funny! It started our vacation off on a hilarious note.

this store has greeting cards, sock monkeez, lights in the night, christmas decorations and more. We love to go in and check out the seasonal gifts that come in all the time. Right now the store is decked out for the holiday season!

«Sealed with a Kiss» did a beautiful job with my programs and thank you cards. I found them after I was having a hard time with my invitation vendor, and «SwaK» helped me through that crisis plus maded everything else, in paper form, go so smoothly. Loved them and wish I had found them first.
