Life is traumatic, which explains why we humans have a natural capacity for resilience, healing and growth. I offer a safe and respectful yet challenging and creative collaboration to help you cultivate your inner therapist. Together, we will discover the inspiration and courage to be authentic, while learning skills to achieve post-​traumatic growth using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, guided imagery, journaling, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Specialties include couples therapy, marriage counseling, men’s issues, adolescent boys, aging issues and therapy for depression, trauma and PTSD.

History

Established in 2013.

James has been providing counseling and therapy in the Paso Robles area since 2013. Before achieving his masters degree in counseling, with a specialty in Healthy Aging, James had a long career in computer software and marketing, including ten years of providing bilingual web services in Yucatan, Mexico. James provides services in English and Español.
