Mary and Greg brought their dreams into being 9 years ago opening EarthTones Gifts, Gallery and Center for Healing a space where conscious living could grow in North County SLO. They offer an array of products for the body, mind, and spirit. While Greg attends to setting the inside displays and the outdoor landscape, Mary provides healing services (massage and Reiki). They also work with local spiritual community offering classes for self growth. The shop is tranquil and offers a space to lend a compassionate ear to visitors. Mary’s lifelong embrace of the spiritual healing arts and focus on positive progress. They focus on handmade crafts, jewelry dedicating to the artisan presence throughout and fair trade as well as unique made in USA handicrafts Helping people move forward, they offer book (including special orders), meditation tools, and messages from Angels and other guides.

History

Established in 2005.

In July 2005, Mary and Greg brought their dreams into being by opening EarthTones Gifts, Gallery & Center for Healing a space where conscious living could grow in North County of San Luis Obispo. Originally opening an Atascadero store by supporting the Artisan way and offering an array of products for the body, mind, and spirit. While Greg attends to setting the inside displays and the outdoor landscape, Mary provides healing services and classes.

Business Owner

Mary Uebersax incorporates Body-​Mind-​Spirit coaching to enhance recovery, gain overall fitness and maintain optimal health. She has conducted wellness programs for 20 years, and is co-​owner of EarthTones Gifts, Gallery & Center for Healing where she is a full-​time holistic practitioner and Yoga instructor.

The Body-​Mind-​Spirit approach explores the balance of inner and outer environments. Mary educates individuals and community groups on health, fitness, relaxation and meditation and is a licensed practitioner of Massage Therapy, Reiki, Yoga, and Pilates in which she often incorporates aromatherapy.

I love visiting Earthtones, I pick up my favorite incenses and crystals there. The only thing I’d change is have more selection as far as metaphysical supplies. It would be great to have bulk herbs and other supplies that I would expect a metaphysical shop to carry, but I totally get that it might not be their thing. It’s a great shop and the owner is a really nice guy.

What a fun shop! Went to several places to find the perfect card– this was it. But, we also ended up buying presents for several people (including me…). Mary and Greg told us about a couple really great places to visit while we were in the area. What a great shop!

I had forgotten about this store until we parked in front of it to get coffee. While BIL went to the café, I decided to shop here instead. I love the eclectic collection of items — from Zen, local artisan goods to metaphysical items and books.
Greg was very helpful too about handling car sickness — cured by the dab of peppermint oil he offered. The vibe of this shop is warm and calm — offering a «welcome home» vibe each time you cross the threshold, no matter how long it’s been since the last visit.
Can’t wait to try the Joebella Coffee that Greg suggested. He gave me a great deal too — if I didn’t like it, bring it back on the next visit. He’ll refund my $$ and take the remainder of the beans home for himself. Now, you can’t beat that. Somehow, I doubt I’ll be returning the coffee — the beans smell delicious!

We all have those hard to buy for people — the people who have everything. This shop is the place to go to find something different, unusual, local, spiritual, or new agey for those hard to buy for people. Greg and Mary always have a very unique selection of ever changing items to choose from. A lot of their items are made by local artisans and many are one of a kind pieces. This store is definitely a must stop and shop when you are in Paso or need an extra special, perfect gift.
Don’t forget to book a massage while you are there. Mary is a MASTER at massage. You will walk out a different person — much more relaxed, less pain, and no stress. She’s sometimes hard to get into so book early!

Even walking into this lovely shop transcends me into a more calm and light space. The owners are dear people who offer shoppers an amazing variety of books, music, clothing, jewelry, gifts, and more that I haven’t found anywhere locally. I love this store and it’s owners Greg and Mary! They have really uniques gift ideas, a wonderful selection of books and really nice essential oils and massage lotions. If you haven’t had a massage from Mary then you have really missed out! They offer so many great items and services that there isn’t enough room to write about them all.
