We create custom leather and rawhide as well as ltd. ed. hand rolled silk wild rags. CC provides quality repairs, markets collectibles from horse gear to books & assists in locating classic bits & accessories while helping to educate the equine community.

History

Established in 1994.

California Classics began to provide much needed education & authentic horse gear in our CA heritage.

We had a well known store front with a workshop in town with a full array of gear, collectibles, gifts, books, jewelry & music. We held western concerts out back by Dave Stamey, Tom Russell, Belinda Gail, Katy Moffatt, Brenn Hill & others. Many friends have continued to use our products around the globe.

When the building was sold, we relocated to an old ranch outside of Paso to create custom rawhide (bosals, quirts, romal reins) & leather (for horse, human & gun leather).

Made in the tradition of the legendary California vaqueros, gear takes the time it takes with no shortcuts or sub-​level products offered. We coordinate with makers & suppliers who strive to create fine, durable items that can be effectively used, comfortably worn & passed down with pride to the next generation.
