I’m not sure why there is only one other review here unless it’s because everyone is afraid to let the amazing secret that is Yushun Yamada out to the world. We don’t share well with others. But people need to know that Yushun has magical powers. His shiatsu massages are out of this world. Two days after a massage, all I want to do is sleep. It’s like he realigns my body and my body has to shut down to regenerate. His magical fingers always find the toxic evil in my body and rub it out. This is no ordinary massage. Everyone should try a Yushun experience.

I have scoliosis, and my back muscles frequently are tense from overcompensation. I try to make it to Dr. Yamada at least once a month, although it’s a far drive from Long Beach after work for me. He gives the best mini-​massage, and really focuses in on my problem areas. The tune-​ups are wonderful and help keep my body less stressed. He is very flexible in scheduling.
Dr. Yamada recently helped me prep for my meniscus surgery, and was very informative about what to expect in the pre-​op, recovery, and recuperative exercises.
Also, the massage therapists who work there are very good, too. In addition, the surrounding area (Monrovia) is very nice!
