History

Established in 2013.

West Coast Neurology is located in Pasadena, CA, and services the surrounding areas which include Arcadia, San Marino, Burbank, Glendale, and La Canada. Dr. Barton has been with the practice since it started back in 2013. Since then the practice has grown and brought on Dr. Sonal Patel, our newest pediatric neurologist. West Coast is now home to two double-​boarded neurologist and a full service neurodiagnostic sleep program.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Dr. Barton is dual board-​certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Barton graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCSD with a bachelors degree in Physiology and Neuroscience then received his MD from UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at UCLA, followed by fellowship[ training at UCLA and Cedars-​Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Patel is double-​boarded in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology. Dr. Patel completed her undergraduate degree at Duke University and then received her MD from Rush University Medical College in Chicago. She completed her Pediatrics Residency at Rush University, followed by Pediatric Neurology Residency at Northwestern University/​Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago and then completed her fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology specializing in Epilepsy at the Ohio State University/​Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
