We highly recommend Dr. Lim. My husband fractured his foot just before the Fourth of July long weekend and we were worried he’d have to wait for days to see a specialist. Called Dr. Lim’s office July 3^rd and he saw my husband that same day, was extremely informative in his diagnosis, and had a very easy manner. What was even more pleasantly surprising was that when we called his office on the morning of the 4^th with another question, he had a call service answering his phones AND promptly called us back with information. HIMSELF! Very professional and responsive.

I’ll keep this brief: I had an in-​grown toe nail removed at this place. Relief! Two months later, it grew back. Yipes! BUT (and here is the reason for the «One Star»” rating”), Welman & Co. expected me to re-​pay for the entire procedure (and this included two ridiculous & expensive follow-​ups not covered by insurance!!).
After a few choice words that involved the letters «F» and «Y», I went to the Cedars-​Sinai Foot Center to have the procedure done again. A WORLD of difference. And their work is guaranteed.

Was treated for Gout by Dr. Lim. He was very easy to talk to, very polite, very easy going and very informative. He explained everything in laymans terms so I could understand it and he was very cooperative about work. Since my job requires me to be on my feet all day he spent time to fill out forms required by my employer.
I would go back to him with no hesitation at all.

Called them to find out how much a temporary extraction for one side of an infected toe-​nail would cost, and she told me it’s $ 400 for surgery, and $ 125 for first time patients. Are you out of your stupid mind? You can get it for $ 70 at Dr. Lai S Patrick’s clinic in Alhambra. He’s the best. Go there, instead.

All those years of wearing tight, high heeled torture chambers (aka stiletto heels) has done a number on my toes. My ingrown toenails were getting so bad that I was actually losing sleep over them. After multiple failed attempts to dig out the offending toenails with my nail clipper and other manicure tools, I realized that I needed to go see a professional.
After looking up different podiatrists in pasadena, I decided to go with Dr. Lim. I had to schedule an initial consultation where he took a look at the offending toenail. He told me that he would have to remove the toenail and I should soak my foot in vinegar and slather some neosporin and wrap my toe with a bandage for 3 days. (this is due to the fact that I can’t take any antibiotics at the moment).
I was really freaked out prior to the procedure but I didn’t need to be. The actual procedure wasn’t bad at all. He took a numbing spray (very cold) and sprayed my toe while he injected me with local anesthesia. Then he proceeded to cut my ingrown toenail out and put some medicine into the cuticle bed so that the toenail doesn’t grow back. His bedside manner was very pleasant and I experienced no pain during the entire procedure.
Afterwards, I was given instructions to soak my toe in vinegar and water and wrap my toe with a bandage and neosporin. I didn’t experience pain, just some very minor soreness. I was able to walk around immediately following the procedure. Its been 3 weeks since the procedure and my toe is healing nicely.
The procedure cost around 500, but 110 of this cost I had to pay for as i was told it was the cost of «surgical objects and not covered by insurance.» So all in all, it was a very costly procedure but at least I’m not in pain anymore and I haven’t had any infections!
Note: if you park in the adjacent lot, you have to give the front desk $ 2 and they give you a token to exit the lot.
