Unlike traditional boba shops which use standard Asian teas, we use a number of different teas from different regions of the world to create a fusion of goodness. Our teas are typically not as strong or sweet as other places, but the taste of our teas will linger long after your first sip! Add some extras into your drinks like honey boba, egg pudding, jellies and aloe to create that perfect drink!

History

Established in 2012.

Teaboba was opened to offer premium organic, fair-​trade iced teas, milk teas, and slushes. Our belief is that you can take premium products and create a refreshing and healthy drinks! A fusion of goodness!

The place isn’t so great as others stated. The place looks like it is not even maintained at all. I just went for the boba, but I rather not come back again. I just had an issue with the boba. It’s too small and it doesn’t taste good or okay. On the bright side, Teaboba is cheaper than Teaspots. But I still rather go to Teaspots for the boba.

Teaboba is a good stop if the rest of your companions want frozen yogurt. That is how I discovered this place. The boba is good here, but at the time of night I can get there, there is one guy working Teaboba. It can be really slow at times. My favorite combo was a peach-​rose slush with honey boba. It was really good, and my party enjoyed my boba more than theirs. There is no way that Teaboba is as good as Volcano Tea in West Los Angeles, but it is pretty close.

Tea boba isn’t the greatest boba place in LA, but it has two solid drinks that make it my local favorite: the Hokkaido Milk Tea and Ice Milk Honeydew drink. Try these. They will not dissapoint

Workers are friendly! Great great boba. However, last time they ran out of boba so I decided to have some frozen yogurt. Talk about topping heaven! Great variety of toppings & flavors. Definitely my go-​to place every time TPumps is closed (on Lake avenue, Pasadena).

Officially the worst boba milk tea I’ve ever had in my life… I don’t know how you can mess up such a simple drink but you’re better off drinking tap water. They do have good seating and a TV but what’s the point when you’re drinking drirt. I took 2 sips and had to throw it away. This is the biggest insult to half and half…

I came here late night and looking to try a new boba place. For starters, parking was a bit difficult to find on the street. First impression when I walked in was that the place looked very clean and modern. Inside they also sell yogurt which there is a topping bar. When I walked up to order my drink there was no one there, although I could hear people in the back. It took a while for someone to come help me. I ordered the milk tea with egg pudding (free topping with check-​in.) The milk tea itself wasn’t very good, nor was the pudding, it seemed a bit hard. Also, the price was very high for milk tea that isn’t very good.

Nothing too spectacular but nothing too repulsive either.
The Milk tea was too sweet for me, so adding the honey boba didn’t help the situation. Their smallest size is huge, so I believe you get your money’s worth. The guy at the counter was nice enough to give me a small sample of the drink before I purchased it. I didn’t realize it was going to taste so honeyed after adding the boba. What I should of done was ask for them to cut the sugar by 70% it was difficult to taste the flavor of the milk tea.
Right next to Teaboba (it’s literally in the same building) is a self serve frozen yogurt shop called «Cherry On Top.» Many might take advantage of the fact they’re so close and try both out at the same time. I can see how this would make an excellent spot to bring a group of friends or the family. The menu has more of a variety and is more likely to please everyone, especially if there are two dessert places combined instead of just one.

This boba joint, behind Mcdonalds, is a pretty solid hang out spot for you and your friends, especially seeing how it is connected to Cherry on Top, a frozen yogurt place. That way, you and your friends will have your pick of either frozen yogurt or boba and there’s plenty of spots to just sit down and hang out!

Nope, nope, nope. Just because the drinks look like the came from half and half, doesn’t mean they taste like a good teahouse. Tea tastes super artificial and just wrong… stay away. I won’t make the same mistake again.

Decent tea, but a bit sweeter than I would like. Slightly different flavor as well. Boba are flavored a bit different than I’m used to, but still decent. Nice staff and a Clean, nice spot for the PCC and Caltech kids. The location of this post is on Green (one way street) and Hollister, directly behind McDonald’s. Heads up.

Oh what pleasure it is to roll those tapioca balls into your mouth. The laughs you get when some of it gets stuck in between your friend’s teeth and the challenge you face when dealing with those last, few remaining boba!
Close to PCC, this boba place is located inside Cherry On Top. Behind McDonald’s, on Green St. If you’re walking from campus, walk towards the bookstore, then up the stairs.
There are plenty of drinks to choose from. My top three drinks are Hokkaido milk tea, Almond, and Horchata!
Hokkaido milk tea is the sweetest amongst the three. Horchata is filling. While almond… Well I only order it when I feel like it’s an almond kinda day or have ordered too many Hokkaido milk tea or Horchata in a month. I recommend trying all of them, with added matcha. I just like that extra «I’m a healthy person» feeling I get from adding matcha to all of my drink (hahahah).

I tried this place out since I didn’t feel like driving to Arcadia for some boba, plus it’s in a neighborhood where some friends live. It was a warm spring day, and boba sounded so good.
I like the selection of teas they offer (they have green, black and oolong). They also have milk teas and fruit slushies. They also have a sweetness scale for drinks, which I really liked.
I got their Mango Green tea, light sweetness with aloe. It was very refreshing! The cups they serve them in are more bucket-​like than cup shaped, which means I couldn’t stick it in my car’s cup holder when I had to drive away later on.
I enjoyed my drink, so I’ll certainly be back to try the other flavors!

Lovely workers but honestly, they don’t really know how to keep their boba soft and chewy. It’s often starchy or really hard whenever I get it.
I do love their almond milk tea because it’s not overly sweet but I think I want to try other things on their menu before I rate it any higher.

FYI, Teaboba is located inside Cherry On Top. There’s really no «Teaboba» sign outside but you shouldn’t have any problems looking for green posters.
My friend and I opted for the Mango Green Tea & Lychee Green Tea. While the fruit flavors aren’t as flavorful as we expected, the quality of the tea is much better than many other boba joints. I’m definitely coming back to try some unique items on the menu, e.g. Hokkaido Milk Tea and Ancient Tree Tea. Sounds very interesting!

Teaboba, located inside Cherry on Top, offers iced tea, slush, milk tea, ice milk and specialty drinks. You can add jellies, egg pudding, boba, aloe and mango jam. The drinks come in one giant size (the same look and size as Half & Half). Some of the drinks are made with organic tea and you can specify desired level of sweetness. There aren’t hundreds of drinks like you’d find at Quickly. I wish they had a smaller size.
* Green tea milk tea
($ 3.25): Made with brewed organic green tea, the drink was milky, light and refreshing, it had mild tea flavor. I found it too sweet but I’ll ask them to reduce the sweetness next time. It wasn’t as creamy as I’d like and they added more ice than I like.

For a BOGO special on the tea, I’m sold! Big cups of my favorite drinks, I’ll be there in a jiffy. Spend about $ 3.25 on two drinks, SO CHEAP!
But, if you’re talking regular prices for these drinks, then I rather go elsewhere. For the same prices, my drinks elsewhere won’t be as watered down and filled to the brim with ice. It’s good here and for a boba shop in Pasadena, it’s one of the better. But, still doesn’t beat the boba joints in the neighboring cities.
10th drink is free so do get a stamp card if you’re planning to be a frequent. And, it’s inside the Cheery On Top froyo place if you’re having trouble finding it.
