Peter been servicing my Porsche for past 3 years. Great work, knows his stuff unlike the 3 or 4 shops in the area. Very reasonable on price and will tell you upfront if he can do it in time or not!

I been through a lots of cars in the past and deal with a lots of different shops and mechanics over the years, I must say Peter and Angela are the nicest and most through people I have ever worked with. I brought my 1999 C4 in for some clutch and other issues. They took the time to listen to my problems and went though and checked EVERYTHING one by one and provided a detailed write up quotation for parts and labor and went thought it again with me over the phone. Their pricing for labor and parts are very fair (cheap) for the amount of work involved. At the end of he day, I decided to hold off on the repair and sit on it for a while. Went back to pick up my car and they were still very polite and didn’t even charge me anything for the inspection. They have truly earned my business! I recommend anyone with a Porsche to send them your car. Thank you Peter and Angela!

For the first time I didn’t feel taken advantage of by a mechanic. It’s a tough life for a women with car problems in this town! But I had nothing but good vibes from these guys. They had my car done fast and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg!

I mentioned my breaks were squeeking and Peter went ahead and resurfaced my pads and disk at no charge. I go to Stuttcar for all my services. The only reason o went to house is because there was a sensor that Peter couldn’t code.

I have gone to the other Porsche shops on the same street and I gotta say, this is the only shop I’ve been going to ever since I found it, won’t go back to the others. Especially if you have the older air cooled Porsches, this is the shop to go to. The popular shop nearby has no clue what to do when it comes to these older cars, so they just wing it by trying to replace everything, on your dime! Don’t fall for it.
I hated to write this review because it would mean that it will be an even longer wait to make an appointment, but what can I do? This shop’s honesty and integrity saved me on tons!

a real hidden gem in sg valley for porsche owners, peter is honest and knowledgeable. worked on my boxster, cayenne and now my 911c2s. very busy shop, expect long appointment.

Best repair service and prices in the game. Peter practiced in Germany before coming to the states. He’s one of the best techs in the country… period!

I would not recommended. The quality of work was poor (on my car), very disorganized, extremely slow to complete.
But they are very friendly people and are not crooks, just not the level of Porsche mechanic that I would recommend.

Dealer said I needed a new alternator on my 2000 996 (was making some clicking noises). As expected, cost was very high at the dealer. A co-​worker recommended Stutt Car so I made an appointment to stop by and have Peter check out the car. He dropped what he was doing and within 5 minutes confirmed that the alternator was the problem. Even though he was booked for weeks, he squeezed me in to accommodate my schedule. Rebuilt alternator cost me ¼ of what the dealer wanted for a new Porsche one. While he had the car, changed out an o-​ring in the cooling system and looked over the rest of the car as well. Great service, great people, great prices. Will definitely be back.

I was on the hunt for my first aircooled 911 Porsche earlier this year and StuttCar was recommended to me by a friend and my Audi mechanic.
After finding a potential car, called Peter to try and schedule a PPI the next day as there were several people insterested in the car. Even though he was fully booked Peter made time for me to bring it in for a 3 hour PPI. After a thorough inspection/​report I purchased the car greatly based upon his findings and professional opinion. The advice was stellar, the car is amazing and since purchasing it Peter has done all the servicing/​upgrades to it. Including repairing oil leakes, new sway bars, new wheels, and brakes/​rotors, with more to come! He has always been incredibly professional, reasonably priced, provided alternate cost effective solutions to what I have wanted to improve on the car and has always been ultra accomodating. I could not recommend Peter and Angie enough, the quality of thier work, knowledge, advice and customer service are absolutely top notch.

I find myself being like a couple people here. I’m not one to usually write reviews but had to make an exemption for Stuttcar.
Peter is a master at his craft and hands-​down one of the most honest people let alone mechanics I have ever come across.
I’ve worked on motorcycles so I’m mechanically inclined but when it comes to relatively new Porsches like my Cayenne S I’m weary of the electrical and Hitech aspects.
Peter and Angie were upfront with everything that had to be done, efficient with their work and didn’t give me any run-​arounds on ANYTHING.
I had my coolant tank reservoir changed and Peter even went out of his way and put in an extra quart of oil and windshield washer fluid just because he saw it was a little low at no cost since it was a day before Xmas eve. This is a rare business that believes in paying it forward and turning porsche owner people into long term clients with their fantastic customer service.
If you want to support a small local business with integrity and a personal touch, look no further I’ve found mine for my current Porsche and any future Porsches I may have no matter where I move to within the LA area.

I don’t usually write reviews but I made time for this one.
I brought my Cayman here upon noticing a little dampness on my carpet after a rain. Even though Peter was booked finishing cars up before the holidays he still took my car in and cleared the water drains. He refused to accept payment for the work since he said it was minor, even after I insisted on paying him. Peter is a very honest and friendly Porsche Specialist, and I’m happy to have found my go-​to place for all my car needs!

This is a family owned business. That alone should say enough on the quality of work that they do. Like any old school family business, They take extra care of their customers and goes above and beyond of what is necessary.
I sincerely believe that any successful business is run by people who love what they do and make an honest living doing it. That is Peter for you. These cars are his passion. Fixing them is what makes him happy. You can see it in his eyes.
My Porsche is giving me some growing pains which is normal for the first few months of ownership when buying a used high mileage car. I purchased the car at a Lexus Dealer without them disclosing what was wrong with the car. After driving off the lot for 10 miles, Check Engine light went on. Funny how it didnt came on while the test drive. They said that they have had the car inspected by a Porsche certified technician in the Valley and has done many work on it to bring it up to speed with maintenance.
Some other Porsche Independent wanted to charge me $ 300 for diagnostics and an inspection. Really? $ 300 just to take a look at the car and see if there is anything wrong that you will also fix and I will pay for it?
I called Peter by the recommendation of my trusted BMW Mechanic. He knew what was the issue of the car within minutes. So… He did a full inspection of the car, Replaced the Throttle body, Did a complete service for $ 730 out the door. Could have been less but I had to use my credit card which added 3%. For real? Brand New original Porsche Throttle body and other parts for a service for $ 730 out the door?
Today while driving my car from Glendale to Diamond bar, I felt that the steering is noisy. I knew there was something wrong with the power steering so i decided to stop by Peter and make sure i am not running dry. He took the time to test drive the car. Took a look at the fluid, found out it was a tad low, filled it up and gave the thumbs up. I asked how much… He said «nothing, you should go in the mountains and do come curves!» lol.
I am telling you. This husband and wife team… simply amazing. No other Mechanic will touch my Porsche Cayman and all the Porsche cars that I will buy form now till eternity.

If you’re looking for an HONEST mechanic. Peter at Stuttcar is the guy to go to. When I first bought my Porsche a couple of years ago from a used car dealer, someone on a forum recommended Peter to me so I can get PPI done. Took the car to him, and he spent a good hour and half looking the car over, checking piston compressions, lifting the car, etc etc. Ever since buying the porsche, I’ve been taking it to him.
He has great pricing, will give you options (porsche parts vs. OEM) of pricing and give you his honest opinion (usually the cheaper OEM parts) and he’ll never try to make any «extra» money off of you. He’s been working on porsches for a VERY long time and his work and knowledge are commendable.
I wanted to install an FM modulator while keeping the original head unit, he did a super clean install, wiring it to the main power source so I’d never have to worry about it, hid the unit behind the center console, and left only the wire to connect my iPhone.
Have been going to him for oil changes as well. Uses only full synthetic mobil 1, doesn’t charge up the wazoo, and is timely.
I wanted to do a full tune up, tranny oil change, belts, etc. I called the Rusnak dealer in pasadena, I was quoted to about $ 1500. Peter did the exact same job using the same parts for $ 650 out the door.
Why am I raving about him? I have ZERO monetary/​financial interest with him or the company. Because he is honest, personable and does such an amazing job without stealing from your wallet, I want the word to get out to give him more business. He deserves it.
If you go to him, you will NOT regret it. 5 stars, NO ifs or buts. You NEED Peter for your Pcar.
edit: forgot to mention his personality. Great guy and super nice. Also, his wife Angie works with him (does his admin stuff) and she is also super nice. Once for an oil change, he let me borrow his minivan to go hang at starbucks. Who does that? Peter does. He goes the extra mile. One of a kind.

Terrific Customer Service.
Brought a 1988 Carrera for a major service and to have the shocks replaced. Peter and Angie explained all the items they recommended be serviced and/​or replaced including the parts cost and labor. They are honest in telling you what is recommended to be done now and what could wait. In addition to the service and replacement items, Peter went out of his way to do service on some minor items at no charge did a wonderful job of cleaning up the car.
The car drives and shifts even better than when I brought it in. I feel confident in the work performed and the extensive knowledge and experience of the mechanics.
Please call for an appointment as the shop is very busy. It took me almost 3 weeks to get an appointment, but well worth it and will trust these guys to all of my service.

First off, I was referred to Peter Fazekas from Porsche Club of America; the San Gabriel Valley Region. I will say that I will come to Peter to have him do all service repairs for my Porsche.
Angie was very accommodating in having Peter inspect the car which literally took about 2 – 3 minutes. I brought my Porsche in because of the reading on my dash to «Repair Brakes.» Peter said that all I need to do is replace the front brake pads and resurface the rotors. The other local shops wanted to replace the pads and replace the rotors! Peter said after the resurface, the rotors should have about another 3k miles left before replacement.
Peter knows Porsche and I trust him and he;s quite an honest mechanic. After he worked on my car, he advised that I get my front tire replaced… Which I did.
5 stars all the way. Very honest and quite a gentleman.

Peter is the man! I am a very picky person when it comes down to my cars. I have own multiple porsches and other german cars, i used to do service and light repairs myself, but ever since I moved to socal I just simply doesnt have the time for it anymore. Having to work on german cars, I can separate experience mechanics from the average on the spot, Peter is a top class mechanic. Honesty is also one other thing that keeps me coming back to Peter. Peter is your guy for your porsches, period!
