They told me that the technicians would be there at 3 – 6, and at 2 PM Arthur called and very politely asked if he could come out early which worked out great. They originally quoted me a service fee to even come out, but once Arthur arrived (one of their technicians and a great and honest guy) he told me that my transmission had blown on my washer machine and it would be more expensive to fix it then to just buy a new unit. He figured this out in less than 5 minutes and didn’t even charge me for the service call. These guys are super great and 10⁄10 will use them again for any future fixes!

Gary came out within a day of my calling Repair Twist of Pasadena to fix several problems with my Maytag stove. Thankfully I am able to keep my stove after less than an hour of repair time. Gary was fantastic, clearly explaining the parts and involvement of the repairs. It’s so great not to have to throw out a good machine. I would definitely recommend Repair Twist of Pasadena. I was very impressed with the service. I called in Monday evening and made an appointment for the following morning. Arthur (serviceman) called me at 845 letting me know he would be by in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later he was looking at my Whirlpool washer. We could not get it to repeat the horrible leak that occurred twice the day before. He did tell me the bearings were going (this was clear to us all as we could hear it), but that the seal did not seem to be leaking at this time. He could change it, but he would be unsure if it would solve the problem as he was unable to view the issue and verify the problem.
He advised against doing the repair… HUH? Yes, this is always a fear when going with a new repair service, the fear that they are going to take you to the cleaners with an excessive repair bill.
On the contrary, he told me to replace the seal and bearings would cost more than half the cost of the washer (we have a lower end model) and that it really wouldn’t be a could cost benefit for us. He told us that he would be happy to do the repair if we wished, but said he didn’t think it was in our best interest.
He then waived the $ 95 service fee (this fee is usually added to the service if a repair is requested) as he said he was not comfortable charging me for the 5 minute visit.
Even though I cannot comment on the quality of the repair I am giving 5 stars for integrity. I will definitely call this company again for any of my appliance service needs.
Oh, I did read a negative review below commenting on all the five star reviews and how it must be plants. This review is legit, look me up, I have several, I’m not made up.

Class act. Discovered at 10pm that everything in the freezer is goo. Called at 7am, got appointment time for 9 – 12 same day. Got a call before 9 asking if 30 minutes from then was ok. Art was very polite and very clear that it would cost more than double the cost of the (not very old!!) fridge to replace the system, leaking freon (the compressor works — anyone need one?). He very kindly did not charge me for the visit, which is extra appreciated due to the comically bad timing of this.
It’s hard to find people who are professional and courteous these days, especially among Unilocal reviews that list lots of 5 stars that don’t quite add up. I’m beside myself about having to replace a fridge that’s a few years old (grrrr, disposable culture), but I’m appreciative to have gotten such quick professional service.

Arthur came by today to help us fix our GE oven. He was not only on time but he was excellent at explaining what the issue was and the breakdown of the costs. Honest Technician, Great Work Ethics, and Excellent Services! This is hard to find now a days. A lot of other repair companies they would try to up sell you some parts or some service that you don’t need, to just to make extra money. We didn’t get any of that from Arthur. This company is different, Arthur provided honest evaluation, and honest opinions. Arthur came to my house to fix my Dishwasher. I called on them to fix the dishwasher, because it wasn’t starting for a few days. I’ve tried to Reset and tried to unplug and plug the power as well. Nothing seems to be working, the Normal and Econo Light still Flashes, and the dishwasher still wont start. Arthur came in on time this Friday. He took a look at my dishwasher, and did a power down, and then reset. All of sudden the machine started to working again. That’s is a weird case. He gave me few good recommendations and great tips. He suggested where it may be leaking, and some parts are still under warranty, maybe best to have the manufacturer to replace those out. It gave me a feeling that to them it is more important that customer get their stuff fixed at lowest cost, than just simply sell more stuff or services.

Our LG all in one washer/​dryer was displaying a draining error. Unfortunately the drain pump needed to be replaced. Art diagnosed the problem quickly. He replaced the drain pump in less than an hour. Art was very professional, and efficient. The only down side, was that the repair was extremely expensive. If the same problem happens again, I’ll probably attempt to fix myself, since we would have spent close to the equivalent of what a new machine would cost at that point.

My Kenmore dryer had an issue starting up. As soon as it did, it would stop in the middle of the drying process. Art from repair twist opened it up, cleaned it, shortened the exhaust pipe, replaced the rollers, etc. but the issue was still there. I was getting a little upset because I didn’t want to pay the service fee of $ 280 for something that wasn’t fixed. But he didn’t give up. After tinkering around with it, he found the root cause which was the dryer door not firmly closing due to a broken mechanism. He fixed that and my dryer is back to normal. Art gave me a discount of $ 20 so I ended up paying $ 260. Still quite expensive. Could have been 5 stars if not for the price. But thank you for fixing my dryer!

Arthur came out today to fix me Kenmore washing machine. He was on time, professional and very courteous after looking at my machine he determined that it would cost more to repair than it was actually worth. He said the mechanics of the machine were working well and it could continue the same was for a quite a while. I appreciated his honesty. I would definitely use this company again.

The latch on my dishwasher broke after Christmas and Art came out to have a look at it. In the process he discovered that the connections in the front panel needed to be resoldered. He did have to go back and forth with my panel several times, but I applaud his tenacity in getting an old dishwasher fixed so that I wouldn’t need to buy a new one.

The technician who came appeared to be knowledgeable, but my Maytag washing machine was too old for him to be able to help me. I had called another repair company first and because of the age of my machine, that fellow told me in advance he could not help me. Apparently only certain parts are available for a 35-​year old Maytag washer. It would have been nice if the second company had indicated that this might be a problem in advance and let me decide to take the chance. I assumed that from the fact that they were willing to come that parts were available.

Could not have been happier with the service this company provided. Our 10+ year-​old dishwasher had a broken motor and was making a lot of noise. The technician arrived first thing in the morning (as promised), diagnosed the problem, and gave us a fair and accurate quote for the repair work. He was able to locate the necessary parts and returned the same afternoon to fix the dishwasher. I highly recommend that you give them a call for any appliance repairs!

I have a very old Kenmore stackable washer/​dryer. Only the dryer portion had broken down and I was afraid it was going to cost more to get it fixed than what the machine was worth. I called Art from Repair Twist of Pasadena and was very pleased that he was able to order the part and install it before I left for vacation. He was very timely and fixed the dryer for a reasonable price. Make sure you purchase the Unilocal coupon and present it to them beforehand to get the discount! No more trips to the laundromat for me! Very happy customer :)

My Maytag Neptune dryer was moving air, but with no heating. Mark came today to fix it. He did a very good job at fixing it and explained why it happened. It ended up we needed not only to replace the burned part, but also cleaning of the duct that moves the lint from appliance out the house. The company directed me to a sister company that can do that second job.
I also called this company few month back for a problem with our fridge/​freezer when we were on vacation. Vic came to do the job at the time. We were able to handle the repair with a phone call. He was fast and efficient as well. I was happy with this company performance in both cases.

My Frigidaire stackable dryer had been making squeaking noises for a while, and then over the weekend stopped working. Called these guys based on good reviews, was easy to set up a quick service appointment. Arthur came by, looked it over and we talked about which parts needed replacing, reviewed the costs, and I agreed on it all. He came back a couple of days later after one of the parts came in and took the dryer apart, replaced the parts, vacuumed it all out, and now it’s working as good as new. Thumbs up from me!

My Thermador stove top suddenly stopped working on Friday morning so I called Repair Twist of Pasadena as they recently repaired my refrigerator and I was very pleased with their service. Vic came to my house to fix my Bertazzoni oven. I was given a 3 hour window (no problem) and I got a call telling me when he was 20 minutes away. He helped me solve my oven problem and what I found very valuable he explained to me how my oven works and what to do to avoid problems in the future. My oven is Italian and there were not a lot of instructions or how to care advice. I felt I got a great service for my money. Thank you, Vic!

This is an addendum to my previous review on Repair Twist of Pasadena. After I posted my review on Unilocal,I received a call from Ellina at Quality Assurance Department with Repair Twist of Pasadena to follow up on technician’s visit to diagnose the problem with my DW today.
During the conversation, I recalled the sequence of events that occurred during today’s visit and my concerns, as documented in my previous Unilocal review. Ellina first apologized that I did not receive a positive impression on the service provided today and addressed each of my concerns. Ellina was professional and understanding.
I do not do many Unilocal review as an user. Obviously, I was concern enough to express my feeling in writing today. I also work in an industry that customer satisfaction accounts for a major component. The effort Ellina, on behalf of Repair Twist of Pasadena, puts forward to address my concerns really need to be applauded. My conversation with Ellina help to restore my confidence in this business company. I am willing to give them a try again in the near future.

Noted the Kitchenaid DW not draining completely at end of cycle. Unilocal’ed and found Repair Twist of Pasadena. The technician called and gave close to 30 minutes notice and showed up on-​time. I directed him to the kitchen, he turned the DW on and told me immediately the circulating pump is not working and the plastic piece inside is the cause. He then proceed to turn on the kitchen faucet, looked into the disposal drain less than a minute, not event turning on the disposal nor looking under the kitchen sink.
I then asked him how much the estimated price would be for pump replacement, the answer was at least $ 450. The technician then used his screw driver to see if he could unscrew the bottom attachment to see the feasibility and ease of removing the DW. Then all I could hear him say repeatedly was «it will be very hard to remove the DW, very hard… the tiles may have to be cut…» The whole visit was within 30 minutes.
It was my first experience to deal with DW repair as a homeowner. Few things:
1. If the problem is really truly what the technician said, then he really knows his stuff
2. The diagnostic fee is $ 95 per visit. How can he eliminate the other potential causes not inadequate water drainage at the end of the cycle with my DW without checking the pipe from the DW to the disposal.
3. The name of the company on Unilocal is Repair Twist of Pasadena. However, the charge sheet says Service Alliance. I then asked the technician how come the service sheet does not say Repair Twist of Pasadena. The answer provided was «it is the same company with multiple divisions.»
Overall, base on the number and accumulated reviews on Unilocal.I am not impressed by the service provided today. If asked whether I will recommend this company to my family, friend, coworker or neighbor, NOT LIKELY.

So my precious Wolf Oven stopped working last week. Considering the heat wave, I figured I could wait a bit, but then the rains came and it briefly cooled off and I started thinking of fall and pumpkin bread. I needed to get the Wolf back in order!
Called Repair Twist on a Thursday and they were able to send over a tech in the afternoon on Friday.
On Friday, didn’t even notice I had missed a couple calls in the late morning. Who was it? Gary, the appliance technician. He was calling early??? Awesome. (He obviously has never worked for the cable companies; where you show up during the last 10 minutes of the 4 – 8 hour window they have you waiting around.) I called him back and he said he’d be over in 15 minutes.
Upon arrival, Gary offered to take his shoes off so that he wouldn’t dirty my floors. Very considerate!
Showed him my oven and mentioned that I was also having some problems with some of the burners. He looked at the burners first and showed me it was a minor issue and even though I could do it myself, he went ahead and checked & fixed all the burners. As for the oven, the ignitor needed to be replaced. Took him about an hour, but he got the job done.
As he was leaving, the heat outside had jumped back into the 90’s; no longer in the mood for pumpkin bread.

Called to set an appointment to have my fridge looked at. It grinds until the freezer is opened then the grind lifts. It’s still functional. However, I want the grind to stop.
The girl on the phone from Repair Twist asked me several times for the brand and make. I bought the unit used about a month ago and remember distinctly searching for a brand indicator or model #. It was no where to be found. I searched everywhere, high low back to front inside out and around every corner. The unit is undefinable.
The clerk at this repair shop told me they really needed that information to send the right trained technician out.. .

Benny was awesome! He has the midas touch, he didn’t have to do much to get the dishwasher to start working. I highly recommend this place. They came the very next day and also he helped me save $ 50 off the service fee by signing me up for their voucher on Unilocal.
