Louis D.

Manager

Attained a Degree in Business Marketing with a Minor in Computer Science from California State University Fullerton. Has a passion for Art/​Design/​Development and marketing. Has been a pioneer with Action Media Marketing Agency in Irvine worked with many top notch clients from VIP Auto Fashion to DUB Magazine and Warner Bros Music Marketing. After many years of work with high-​scale project management and art direction Louis set out to freelance and focus on learning more Website related work such as SEO, UX, Consulting and Web Statistics. He was a freelance consultant for a few years before settling with Digital Tech Incorporated based in LA. There he focused his skills to work with many other clients such as Pyntail Application Development in UX app development. After a few years in the Project Management and UX side of websites he left to Thailand to pursue opportunities only to return and join QuickPrints LA. Louis hopes to turn a company from virtually no profit to high gross

This place is pretty awesome I called for some print work and I got a call back pretty quick. The lady was nice and friendly helped me right away asked to send my images in high resolution to her email. I am a busy bee so she had to chase me down to get my approval but that is what we want… Awesome service got my business cards at a reasonable time.
I saw the other review but I imagine that the lady who got her images printed send in images that were from photoshop and were not high resolution images. It takes a minute to know that photoshop images sometimes are pixel images because it is different from Illustrator.
What can I say you live and you learn and if you dont you will blame on others lol.

Second — Stay FAR away from this business.
It started as me looking for a local printing place to give my business to instead of a more well known chain. I own 4 local businesses, one of which is a start-​up and needed some of the standard business cards and such.
I figured I would give QuickPrints a try since they appeared to be a new business as well. I mean really, what could it hurt?
Apparently the aforementioned line of thought was a poor decision. I ordered 5×7 Postcards ($ 70+) and they had a monthly special for business cards 1000 for $ 25.
I sent over my artwork and was told that the Postcards were fine, however the business cards were going to have the graphics cut out at the top/​bottom. I quickly let them know that it was not alright with me and sent over a standard template with my graphics (seriously, a Photoshop template for business cards). They said that they would print with the new graphic, which I assumed meant that everything was centered and looked fine. I never received a proof to approve and the print was run without my final approval.
I get my business cards yesterday and they are incredibly poor. The graphic is off center, dull, and has the top/​bottom cut off. I immediately called the QuickPrints office and was met with voicemail, which I left throughout the day. By the end of the day I had not received a call back, so I e-​mailed Luis de Luna (which I assume is Roberto’s brother or relative considering that they have the same last name) and he told me that the print job was my mistake since I am the one who sent the graphics over.
I am not going to lie, I raged. I made sure to tell him that he ran the print without a final proof for approval, which is what every other company I have EVER dealt with has made sure NOT to do — they always have a proof for me to approve before going to print. I never heard back and never received my Postcards or any response.
I am out $ 116 and plan to file a claim with BBB as well as legally. It was only $ 116, but still — no one should have to go through this amount of completely unprofessional crap!
I highly recommend that you stay far away from this printing service. The discounted cards seemed like the way to go at first, but obviously that was a poor decision and you really do get what you pay for.
