Don’t ever buy Groupon and upgrade the service. I got Groupon for regular Manicure and Pedicure but was talked into doing gel mani. I thought I will just have to pay the price difference between gel and the Groupon price I already paid. Turned out they said because Groupon take 50% of the price I paid, so they have to charge me higher. Their work is ok, but what made me decide to give 2 star is their attitude, they said «it is not of our business that you want to buy from groupon, you have to pay the marketing fee for the 1^st time, and when you come next time without buying Groupon we will give you better price.» I am sorry, I will never go again, I think that is really your business that you promote your business on Groupon and you should absorb the marketing fee to attract customers.

I have used the salon twice for mani/​pedi’s and have had great service. They are very attentive to detail. The facility is spotless and they take great pride in this. They identified a nail fungus on my big toe that was just starting.
They helped me nip that problem in the bud by providing advice on how to care for the toe in a low cost way.
I only wish I could use them more frequently rather than when I am in California visiting my daughter.
By the way, low cost too!

Great experience here! The owner Cathy (or Kay?) was very friendly and was fair with the charges me for upgrading my Groupon for a mani pedi to one that includes a French manicure for both. She charged me $ 10 additional since it took extra time. She didn’t try to sell me on anything additional and she and her colleague were very thorough and attentive.
This shop was very welcoming. They let you sit in a massage chair while they prep your feet and do your pedicure, and give you these cute flat slippers to walk over to get your manicure. Then you stick your hands over a fan for 5 minutes and you’re done! I’ll admit, I arrived later than I said I would, so ended up waiting over half an hour while they finished with some previous customers. The entire mani pedi took about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Although the salon closed at 7pm, Cathy stayed with me all the way until 8pm and even helped me take pictures for Unilocal (since there weren’t many French manicure pics here)! They turned out great. I am happy with the results since they showed up great in pictures, and I am happy they were so dedicated to each and every customer. I think Cathy was very grateful I was so patient as well haha.

Worst experience of my life. I came in with SNS nail powder dip on my nails which you remove the same way as gel. This woman had no idea what she was doing and spent an entire hour or longer taking off my polish. Then she kept filing and filing to get the polish off, which is not how you remove it. She filed my nails to a pulp. She kept saying that my nails were so thin bc of the polish I had one, but I told her it was bc she keeps filing them. They didn’t even have the drill filing thing that most salons had, so the whole time she was using just a nail file/​Emory board. What a joke!!! They seemed nice at first, but on my way there I called to check prices, they said 25 for gel manicure, then the sign said $ 29 when I got there and they were gonna charge me $ 5 for removal. Once she finally got the polish off, while complaining and talking shit the whole time, I had to go back to work. So I told her that and she charged me $ 8 for her shitty service. I do not recommend that anyone goes there. Ever.

I am not impressed with this place. I got the gel manicure and it did not even last two weeks. GEL manicure? Really? Isn’t it supposed to last for at least 3 weeks? Anyway, I also got a regular pedicure and it was peeling in less than a week… will not be back.

I bought a groupon for this place for about $ 20, which in my mind is a very good deal.
1. The parking is a block away.
2. I speak mandarin fluently, & I spent 2 hours listening to nail technicians talk smack about all their clients.
3. They try to up sell you on everything.
NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.

I found this place by accident! I meant to park and go try a nail salon down the block, but decided I didn’t want to walk and I was in a bit of a time crunch, so I ended up here.
I didn’t catch the lady’s name, but she was the only one at the salon that day, and I was her only customer, for a while anyway. She was friendly and professional. After finishing my gel pedi, one customer walked in, and she kindly let them know it would be about 15 – 20 mins before she could get to them. The lady said she would come back. A little while later, another lady came in, and she told them the same thing. This lady decided to sit and wait. I felt bad for the lady doing my nails, as I could tell she started to feel rushed. She still took her time with my gel mani and didn’t disappoint. They came out great!
The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars is because of the prices. They have a promotion going on where you get 15% off, but even with that the gel mani and gel pedi are a little more expensive than other places I’ve been to.

I thought I was being a brat because I couldn’t decide on one color so I chose five. Fay then shows me how she’s done 10 different designs for her customers in the past!
Super friendly, super fast, super clean, super prices. This place is my new nail place!

Went in around 6pm on a Friday night with no appointment, however, I did call before and ask about their hours and what time I needed to be there to be seen. Had a groupon for mani/​pedi and lady discouraged us using it, that her sale price was a better deal.
So I went in with two others and they were seen, I was not since it was late. I was ok with that, I understood.
Pros: place was inviting, parking was good
Cons: Discouraged using Groupon, seemed hurried, language barrier, and above all upon leaving the lady (I think she was owner) requested a tip for other worker who left before we were all done. Said she lived far and she stayed late. I am big on tipping and understand the etiquette for a job well done. But I believe a tip is earned for service that was above expectations, certainly not something requested. Bad form lady!

Five stars for great service. The women here are so friendly, and considerate. The store has a nice comfy feeling and makes me feel really welcomed. When I came in, I waited for a bit but enjoyed a cup of coffee and looked at the different nail polish shades. Eventually chose to do a gel mani/​pedi.
The mani/​pedi experience was awesome. The lady who did my nails gave me a really nice pampering. She was gentle, sweet and SO friendly. She listened to what I like and didn’t like and recommended different things I could do.
Great experience! Great service. Really great location as well. The only thing is you’d have to find street parking but it’s in a quiet neighborhood in Pasadena so there should be plenty of parking if you come early.

Went in for the first time today. I didn’t realize they close at 7 but I was booked for 7:30pm somehow. Still they stayed open till 9 just for me. I got both Mani/​Pedi. I really appreciated that they both took their time and effort to make it perfect despite it was well over closing time. Kay, who co-​owns the shop is a true nail artist. You can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in her work. Afterwards we did a little photo shoot of her work. I am definitely coming back and this will probably be the only place I go from now on. Price is fair too but seriously the love she puts into nail art is all worth it! Highly Recommend.

I m so glad I walked in to this little gem, the girls are so sweet and talented. I’m not one to invest $ towards designs on my nails but the ladies do an amazing job. I look forward for my appointments, it’s always something exciting to look forward for! (Re: nail design)

i just wanted to leave a review to say that i had great service here.
i got the $ 25 mani/​pedi groupon, and i was nervous because of the 1 star reviews here saying they received poor service, but i didn’t have that experience at all!
i did have to wait a while because i walked in with no appointment, but i wasn’t in a rush. i had parked on the street, and they had me move my car to a spot in their private lot, which was very nice.
they had plenty of magazines and coffee, tea, and water in their waiting area.
they had a good color selection.
they did a great job on my mani pedi, i saw them put tools into and take them out of the autoclave, i saw them clean the pedi tub after the girls next to me left, i didn’t notice any unhygienic practices that other reviewers mentioned.
i’ll definitely go back here.

LOVE this place! Second time here, such friendly service. Ashlee was so helpful when I walked in not really knowing what I wanted to do with my nails other than I wanted to do something different! She showed me so many options and now I just want to go back and get each one. These ladies really have talent with their skills. Everything I observed was in great condition and very sanitary. If you go see if you qualify for the VIP stamp card for a free mani after you fill the card. Ashlee and the other women were so patient with me and my friend and gave us just what we wanted without us being able to be clear about it. Will recommend to everyone I know!

The staff there is so friendly. And this is my second time to be there. They are so nice and they do the pretty style for me. I go there monthly. And I like my nails when they finish them for me. The environment there is good.

Too funny! The owner used her profile just commented that we were lying! Unbelievable!!! They were truly lying to customer and groupon! Why such business still exist!

DO NOT COME!!! If I could rate zero, I totally would!!! Horrible horrible customer service! We came here for a groupon, $ 25-​regular manicure, but wanted to upgrade for gel manicure. We asked if we can use $ 25 as credit and pay for the difference, but the owner said we have to pay a higher price if we want gel, just because we bought it from Groupon! It is their rule! Not to mention that it’s said on the groupon, black and white, loud and clear, that money can be used as store credit!!! I don’t know who the lady was, but she obviously has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen, unbelievable!!! At last, we left angrily and asked for a refund from Groupon! Please, for your own sake, DO NOT COME HERE!

Run away! Do not go here! Horrible place! I went for a mani-​pedi about 3 weeks ago and I very much regret it. I used a Groupon under their previous name of LT Nails. They recently changed their name. The women who did my nails did not seem to care what they were doing and were not friendly at all. The one who worked on my hands acted like she was mad at me for using a Groupon. She was very rude. Don’t sign your company up for Groupon if you are going to be upset when people use it. There was no one else there except for a woman who came in for a bikini wax who they told to come back in 15 minutes. They up sold me a gel manicure while I was in the chair so I could not get up to match the colors for my fingers and toes. The one working on my toes used an orange color that did not match the pink being used on my fingers. She had to remove the polish and change it. She chose a pink that did not match either, but I just let it go. I did not want to sit there longer. The worst part was my pedicure. She was so rough on my toes I thought she would break them. I had to ask her to not be so rough. I had also requested the callous remover treatment. After marinating my feet in the goo she grabbed the callous scraper and started using it on the soles of my feet. I was having my hands worked on at the time and wasn’t watching her. All of a sudden she uses the tool in the top of my little toe. I have no callouses there! The pain was intense and blood immediately started to pour out. She had taken a chunk out of the top of my toe! There is now a piece of my toe missing! I yelled because it hurt so bad. She just laughed and said, «Sorry» WTF? I was injured, bleeding, and in excruciating pain. She grabbed something that looked like top coat and painted it over the wound to stop the bleeding. HUGE mistake! This trapped all the bacteria in and I developed a bad infection that is finally healing after having to go to Urgent Care and my doctor for treatment. The infection was so bad my doctor thought it had gone into the bone. I can finally wear shoes, but have a permanent indent on the top of my toe where she took a piece off. The one who was working on my hands did not even use lotion to massage my hands. She used cuticle oil! Who does that? No one! She grabbed a hot towel and practically rubbed the skin off my hands and arms trying to get that oil off.
During the mani-​pedi, I watched as they pulled the tools out of their drawers, used them on me and then threw them back in the drawer in the container they took them out of. They are not clean! Because of this dirty practice my toe became very infected. Do not go here!

Jessica was so sweet! I came in and she was dealing with a difficult customer (made her change the gel polish 5+ times and ditched when she said she was going to the car to get the tip) but she was very apologetic!
I have problems with ingrown toenails, but Jessica fixed them with ease. Even though it was pretty close to closing she took her time and made sure my nails were perfect. I know gel is harder when you have short nails but she did amazing! she kept the time enjoyable with light conversation. I was definitely happy with the service and had a great time! I’ll definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Walked in at closing time on a Sunday evening. Thought I’d be turned down, but was welcomed to stay for services.
Jessica and Kay were fantastic. Once they learned I was new, they gave me a nice savings on my manicure and pedicure. Tried the gel manicure for the first time and I really like the results. The whole nail is covered in lacquer and is sealed to last longer than a traditional manicure.
I will definitely be back. Their great work, friendliness, and reasonable pricing will make this shop my «go to» location.
