Description

Specialties

The program is 100% natural, 100% personalized, wellness-based weight loss programs for the middle aged and beyond. We have helped thousands and thousands of patients achieve weight management for better health and longevity. We do that through one-on-one life coaching, nutrition education, supervised workouts and effective detox and wellness programs.

Every other Tuesday we host Dr. Matar’s famous Dine and Learn event, where gourmet dinner is offered along with an intro talk with the doctor about the pillars of health and longevity.

History

Established in 1996.

Welcome to the Pasadena Weight Loss Center. We are located at 774 N. Lake Avenue in Pasadena.

This is Dr. Claude Matar: Founder of the Matar Method: A health-based, long-term natural weight loss program, servicing the San Gabriel Valley communities since 1996.

My qualifications include a doctorate in medicine (1986) and board certification in naturopathic medicine and clinical nutrition (1998).

My 35 years of research and practice have proven over and over again that only a healthy body can achieve permanent weight loss. Our focus on «health first» has consistently produced stellar results for the many thousands of patents we have had the honor to service.

Manager

Dr. Claude Matar is a medical researcher (MD, 1986) who, despite his qualifications as a medical doctor; board certified naturopathic physician, clinical nutritionist, and accomplished herbalist with 66 proprietary herbal medicinal formulas, is retired from the practice of any of the healing arts as he dedicated his life for research and teaching.

In fact, the reason he went to medical school in the first place was not to become a doctor, although that’s what happened upon completing 4000 supervised clinical/hospital hours. He had a burning question that he wanted an answer for and his parents (Wade and Lila Matar) had the wherewithal to send him to medical school to find his answer.

Today, (2015), over a quarter of a century later, the good doctor has recently completed his extensive research into one of the simplest, yet most hidden underlying causes for non-optimum health. His discoveries include the isolation of the most basic underlying causes of lack of energy, obesity, overeat
