Yeah having to give a copy of your insurance card is a drag.
But this place was fast and efficient. My tech named Justin was a really cool guy, informative and a smooth operator with the needle. These kind of places are a little cold and impersonal. Not this one. Me and my blood will be back.

This place stinks… why they need a physical copy of your insurance card each time… do they not know about insurance companies issue cards on your mobile phones via apps… this company does everything via the fax assist backwards… so I am sure your blood results will take forever and will be poorly done…

I don’t think the star rating accurately reflects my view of this place. The lab tech I had was wonderful. Very nice and very caring. On the other hand, Justine at the front desk should NOT be working with the public. Very snippy. So – a five for the technician, a 0 for the reception.

So last time I was here 2 weeks ago wonderful service & no wait. Today I come in and some lady Justine is working and she is just so rude. She should not work in the front office dealing with people. No wonder Labcorp has such a bad reputation.

I walked in. Approx around 11:45 am. I was greeted by a young girl at the front. She was nice and welcoming. I signed in and provided my ins cards. They prompted me to have a seat. It was empty. I waited maybe 5 – 10 min while the nurse set up in the exam room. Not bad. They had me do the pee in a cup first and then had me head to the back to a nice and clean room. The nurse was nice. Efficient and absolutely painless. She said I had nice good veins. I guess having vascularity from the all the training is paying off: P I was in and out within 20 min! Love that. Super convenient. The staff was friendly, hospitable and excellent. I would definitely recommend this lab. :)

LabCorp seems to be a cheapskate and only employs a few staff on busy Saturday mornings. The nurses take and process the paperwork AND draw the blood?!
I was here on the dot at 7:30 and an hour later I am still waiting.
A couple of patients skipped the long line to sign in and walked straight to the front. When people in the line complained, The redheaded nurse blamed them for standing too far back (which they were probably doing out of respect for privacy). She allowed the line jumpers to sign in ahead of the rest of the people.
Don’t come here!!!
One star for the guy who finally drew my blood. He was fast and made conversation with me since I have a needle phobia.

Great staff! Very helpful and compassionate. Very clean and professional. They checked me in, stuck me with a tiny needle and submitted my dna with lightning speed. I hope I never see them again but, if my doctor needs me to submit more of my life force I will turn to this Labcorp to drain me … with a very tiny needle and a smile.
By the way … I think most of the negative reviews are from court ordered drug test patients. Can you blame them? I’d be cranky too.

You will burn some time waiting along with many others while two technicians do everything, including man the front intake desk, process your insurance, collect your blood work and yes, sanitize the restrooms. You’ve been warned.

I hate having my blood drawn and was a weepy mess when I got to the lab. The staff was so sweet and kind! Rhianna was so pleasant and made me feel so comfortable that before I knew it it was done and I was out the door! I had an appointment and was out in 10 minutes. This was the best experience I’ve ever had doing something that makes me cringe!

If you can avoid LabCorp, do it. However, I didn’t have a choice, so off I went.
This location takes walk-in’s and allows you to book an appt online. I’m not sure if an appointment helps speed things up, but I’ll tell you what does NOT speed things up: the fact the techs have to do everything. The techs have to check people in, answer questions, and then do the blood draw.
This means that there are lulls between checking patients in, no one at the front desk to answer questions, and an overworked staff.
Apparently the LabCorp company decided they didn’t need front desk staff, thus pushing the burden on to the techs. What a crappy model for any sort of customer service.
Since they are short-​staffed, the other thing they could do for patients is add signage so explain what to do. I get that they see many patients each day and it’s the same routine, but it would be nice to know (e.g. a sign that says: «please sign in; if no one is at the desk, it’s because we are with a patient. A tech will be with your shortly.» or «Please place urine sample here.»)
The actual blood draw was a 5-​star experience (well, as good as any blood draw could be — quick and relatively painless). Everything else was zero stars (hence my overall 2-​star review).
On a Saturday around 10am the wait was an hour. In chatting with a fellow prisoner, she had been there the 2 Saturdays prior and her wait was two hours!
MY TIP: GO EARLY (when they first open 7:30am) to avoid a claustrophobic waiting room (which was also stinky because a waiting patient did not have good hygiene). Fortunately, there are chairs in the hallway where you can wait (much more pleasant!).
On the weekend, if the parking structure is closed, you can park in the employee section. I chose to park on Fair Oaks (1 hour street parking (no meters)).

Wish I could give this place NEGATIVE stars! It’s been over a week and my blood work still hasn’t been sent to my doctors!

Unfortunately, not a great experience at this LabCorp branch. Came here for a pre-​employment drug test; found their front desk receptionist/​technicians to be quite rude and their check-​in process to be unorganized.
The biggest issue I had was the attitude of the lab techs. The one technician (thick lady with glasses and heavy accent) lacked any common sense/​professionalism and spoke in a condescending manner. I’m sure they deal with all types of questionable characters that walk through their doors; which could explain the reason for how they treat their clients, but seriously uncalled for.
If you do decide to come here, make sure you request to have your parking validated as they will not go out of their way to do so for you.

Waited up front for 5 minutes before anyone who worked there appeared. He shouts from the hallway to sign in and wait for someone. I respond the clipboard clearly states with highlighting «Blood Work Only». I was picking up a testing kit (non blood). I sign in anyway.
Wait another 5 minutes.
When he got to me and another employee walked up and asked if he took care of me he said yes and explained in detail what I was there for. Loud enough so I on the other end of the waiting room could hear. Which means everyone else in the waiting room could hear. What happened to client privacy?
I’ll be sticking to the Green street LabCorp. The facility looked nice since it just opened a few months ago. In the basement of the Cotton South building.
