This is my go-to spot for Lakhmejoon(Armenian pizza) I especially love the pomegranate paste ones.(Please note, these are made fresh and I’d recommend calling ahead of time to order them) The staff is very friendly and they have a lot of variety. This is a family business and you know their food is baked fresh with the finest ingredients. My family and I have been coming here for many years and will continue to order from Koko’s bakery.

I love it here. They have the best apricot cookies that are to die for. They put apricot jelly into a coconut cookie dual shell and it is truly epic! Nice smiling workers and great service. Wonderful place to grab sweets! Give them a try!

The Armenian pizza is amazing… But I could have had better coustomer service. It was worth it though, we ate all of the food we got. Beware dont go anywhere else, other place close by made me sick.

I came and tried the cheese and spinach/cheese combo mini boregs. They come 12 in a pack. I bought 2 packs for myself. Yes, I’m a pig. Don’t eat them on the drive home. Instead, throw them in the microwave for about 10 seconds, or toaster oven if you can wait that long, and eat them warm. Makes a world of difference, and brings out the flavor/texture of the cheese. I like that the lemon flavor is not overwhelming, unlike some other bakeries. Just personal preference. The spinach/cheese was delicious(better than just cheese, in my opinion). Will be back to try other items!

This is Armenian/Middle-Eastern Bakery Heaven. Their specialty, the Zaatar & Cheese bread(Mene-cheese) is outstanding. Don’t be fooled by the imitators. These guys invented it and it is as good as it gets. I’m not exaggerating when I say it made my day/week. Everything that comes from their oven is fantastic. From the lahmajoons(armenian pizza) to the soujoukh(armenian sausage) bouregs. This place is the real deal folks. The quality and love they put in their product is unparalleled. This is the epitome of a mom and pops bakery. I would give Koko’s 10 stars if i could. This is my go to spot in Pasadena. Everywhere else is secondary. Quick tip: go as early as possible to get the product as it comes out from the oven; hot, steamy and delicious.

I love this place. Koko and family are the nicest people. I always pick up 2 to 3 dozen Lahmajoon AKA Armenian Pizza for the family and my co-workers. Everyone Loves it. They bake everything fresh, it comes out of the oven while you are there. It’s really hard to drive back home and not open the box and start eating on the way home. They have lots of small finger food type desert which is is awesome. There is plenty of street parking. I’ve tried Lahmajoon from everywhere in Pasadena, Glendale and Hollywood. No one compares to the quality and taste of Koko’s Bakery.

You see that huge flat thing in the photos section? The cheese boreg? Yeah, it’s like a foot long and about $ 3. They also sell a plate of about 7 mini boregs that cost $ 8. I went in at 1PM on a Tuesday afternoon and they were alright out of huge flat spinach boregs. I ended up getting the spicy cheese one as well as some cookies. It was not bad, but the cheese wasn’t as ooey gooey as I would have liked it to be. It was also very oily. Fortunately, the dough wasn’t as overwhelming as the other boregs I’ve tried. The cookies were better than others, but nothing special about them.

If you are looking for delicious Armenian baked goodies, look no further. It’s a mom and pop place and is mostly for people to take the stuff home(there is only one small table). They have the best bueregs in town(Armenian flat bread). I loved the cheese one(comes topped with spicy sausage) and the spinach ones. The food is always fresh and even though there are tons on Armenian bakeries in this neighborhood, you can’t do better than the cheese bueregs here… simply delicious! I am salivating just thinking of it… Yummy!

The Armenian bakery’s food is great. The breads are always fresh and they seem to be made daily. The service, on the other hand, is horrible. Here’s a sample encounter: You walk into the store and go up to the counter. The man and women stare at you from the back like you showed up at 5:00AM and they aren’t open yet. You ask for assistance and the two employees bicker over who is responsible for helping the customer make a purchase. When the worker comes to the counter, they give a cheery«yeah?», at which point, you better know exactly what you want and what’s inside each bread. They don’t offer an explanation of what each one is and will only use the official Armenian names — something that’s useless for someone who doesn’t know the terms or wants to try something new. If you are familiar with what everything is, and you know the names, it’s worth going there. If not, try another Armenian bakery(Washington and Allen are full of them) and enjoy the experience of discovering new food.

OK, well I have a change of heart cause this place makes some killer baked goods. I guess I can over look the occasional bad service and focus on the good. I am glad you guys are close by and better yet, I am glad you are making good food.

I don’t know what they’re called, but my son and I LOVE their raisin cookies in the shape of a crescent. Not too sweet, but so good. Be careful, you’ll eat the whole bag before you get home. Also they have rich twists(made with sour cream or cream cheese?) with sesame seed and maybe caraway? Also, not too sweet but addictive. I’m not too crazy about the other cookies, especially the ones with chocolate chips. But the other cookies are AWESOME!

Everything I had was delicious. Unfortunately, I can’t remember what anything was called. One was a lovely bread wrapped around a mildly spiced and wonderfully chewy cheese. I also shared a flat bread topped with a meat mixture. Divine. This is more of a takeaway bakery than a sit down place although there is a small table with two chairs available if you’re lucky. I’ll be back

This bakery makes THE best Armenian baked goods in Pasadena. Period. Their lehmejune is the best I’ve ever had, no wonder why it’s their most popular item. Next up would be their cheese bueregs and meneish. Not only can they make these lunch and dinner style meals, but they have a wide assortment of cookies and mini versions of their bigger items. I havn’t found anything here I don’t like, get in your car and drive to this place, NOW
