High Point Academy is a private school in Pasadena, California, for grades K-​8.

High Point Academy awakens the joy of learning in each child. The school provides a nurturning environment that enables each student to flourish academically, emotionally, morally, physically, and socially. The challenging curriculum provides a traditional and balancing approach to ensure that students acquire tools for analytical thinking. Established in 1965.

High Point Academy was founded by a group of parents with sixteen students in school in 1965. The initial staff used the Carden Teaching Method, which focuses on a strong phonics and language program. Although modified for the needs of today’s students, the Carden Method is still in use at the school today in kindergarten through second grade.
