Halftime Cuts

I came to Robert Hayrapetyan to get a haircut… and words cannot explain…
I used to get haircuts, but this guy gave me a completely different experience. where do i start?
1) so much attention to detail
2) makes sure he does everything right
3) keeps you entertained
4) even might teach you something about your hair
5) So affordable (compared with the type of service you get)
I mean i wish there were more stars on Unilocal to give this guy… i definately will be wanting to visit more often
And he is definately someone i would recommend to others… I dont care who your barber is or how good they are… you have got to come to Robert atleast once and you’ll be hooked… you’ll see for yourself… this man is sooooo good that i wish he could be closer to my house… You need a haircut… this is where you go!!!

Saw this place while driving down foothill. Thought to myself at that time that I will try to place out next time. Finally had some down time in the morning called in to see if walk in are welcomed and luckily they had an opening at 930am. So I quickly took the spot and headed my way there.
First I was greeted from the front desk and took my info to start my profile.
Then they took my to my seat to wait for my new stylist. Robert came out and right away was a really nice and greeted me. He took me to the wash room to talk about how I would like my hair cut. I gave him my whole story how my hair was always short. Then I had a comb over but was quickly shaved off due to a lot of different barbers cutting my hair. I was cutting my own for the last 6 – 8 months with a #1 and I didn’t feel professional anymore. Which is why I wanted to start coming back to an actual barber shop.
This place is awesome with customer service and quality cuts. I highly recommend this place. The price is a bit high but well worth it.
Can’t wait until my hair grow and Robert can work his magic.

The most awful hair cut that I have ever had, in one word an expensive disaster for 28 $.

I hate paying for hair cuts, I’ve been buzzing my own hair for about 5 years as there is not much left to cut now and having my wife clean up the back of my neck, but yesterday she totally buzzed the back without the guard on as she wasn’t paying attention. So I looked like a tool.
I went to this place as it was near my work & the reviews seemed good. All I needed was a fade as I had already done a 2 all over. Robert did a great job. $ 25 seemed a bit steep to me (I’m probably just too cheap) as all he was doing was the back, but I didn’t mind paying it as I was seen straight away (which really helped out as I had somewhere to be straight after & I didn’t have the time to wait), & he made it look really good. I’ll post a picture. He also cleaned my neck up with the razor which was really nice.
The place was great, they had soccer on which was cool. Everyone was really nice, especially the other guy who I didn’t catch his name. I’ll definitely come back here to have them fix the next accident.

This place is great. Very clean and modern barber shop with friendly people who greet you and make sure you feel well attended to. Thank God for Robert. He is a hair cutting angel, and I’m so glad I found him. My hair is curly and really hard to cut. So many people have had a hard time cutting my hair, and I’ve had my fair share of bad hair cuts in my life. Naturally my guard was up the first time I came here. But Robert was patient and really seemed to know his sh*t. He analyzed my hair and went over with me what I was going for. Dude took his time and it came out just the way I like. This place really deserves 5 stars, but I had to go with 4 only because of the price. $ 35 for a barber shop hair cut? Definitely the most I’ve ever paid before. I’d like to see the prices come down a bit, but I guess you get what you pay for. Found my new barber and I’m not about to play the hair cut lottery at some other shop ever again.

Very happy. They spent much more time than my usual place. A couple bucks more but worth it. Looking good!

This is a great place for a guy to get a stylist cut without having to smell permanent solution and listen to a gaggle of trophy wives yammer on about reality tv! This is a place for men to get a hair cut, watch the game on any of the many TVs, and not look like they were sheared with hedge clippers.
Garo’s fantastic, he really takes the time to «figure» your hair out, and does a superb job.

Garo 10 star review. I am used to paying up to $ 75 for a haircut. Garo broke it off a $ 35 and masterfully crafted cut. He is 4 to 6 weeks out for an appointment… I can see why.

Generally I go to the discount places to get my haircut but I’m in my 30s now and thought «maybe I should care about my hair more.» I found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. I believe I got my haircut by Robert and he did a fantastic job. I really wasn’t sure I knew what I wanted, only that I wanted something manageable but «professional» looking. He knew exactly what I meant and knocked it out of the park.
The place has a cool, retro sports kind of feel to it. I was in on a weekday afternoon and they had Lethal Weapon on tv and MLB Network on the other.
All in all it was a great experience. I will definitely be back.

Long time customer of Halftime Cuts and always happy with the service and the cut I receive.

I used to love this place until I called recently to make an appointment and got someone on the phone that sounded like they were gargling marbles in a wind tunnel and that is putting it mildly!
Count me as a long time customer lost!

Garo and his place halftime is great. He took the time to ask me a lot of questions on how i would want my hair to look. Had a really good visit and will for sure make a 2^nd trip to halftime cuts.

Robert fixed my mess of a haircut that I was shamelessly walking around with for a month. He eased my nerves of trying a new barber by asking me questions and telling me what he was doing and why he was doing it, a true professional. I asked for my take on a gentleman’s cut, and he delivered exactly what I wanted.

Just got a haircut from this place for the first time. I believe I got a cut from Robert, but wasn’t 100% sure I got his name right. I was really impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. I would definitely go back next time I am in the area. Thanks guys!

Garo is the man. I’ve been getting my hair cut at halftime for five years and he’s never disappointed. I book my appointments for months in advance because he’s that good. I’ve been to nearly every other shop in the area and haven’t found anyone as professional who knows their stuff.

Best haircut and great staff. Very picky about my haircuts, and Halftime cuts always delivers consistent good cuts. Garo and his staff really are masters.

There is a reason why I make my appointments six months in advance. Garo is the man. No one can cut my hair like he does. I highly recommend Halftime cuts.

I’ve been a customer of 6 years all the while getting solid haircuts from Garo.
He is so solid, that he gets busy weeks in advance. He has that perfectionist but laid back personality you want in selecting a barber. In fact I usually book 2 months in advance all my appointments to stay in the system.
I’ve seen Garo train his barbers and I know the high standards he places on all his barbers. I’ve also seen Jason there for a long time and seen his solid finished product for the six years as a client.

I’m so happy I gave this place a second chance. The first time I came I walked in hoping to get a quick haircut. It was a Thursday afternoon so I figured there wouldn’t be many people. The receptionist told me that someone would be ready in about 10 minutes. 10 minutes later still nothing… I waited for almost 30 minutes before deciding to leave. I was given a 50% off my first haircut coupon for my trouble. I left telling myself I wouldn’t come back after that experience.
Fast forward to yesterday. I have a family reunion thing coming up and I am in serious need of a good haircut. Usually I go to Sports Clips because it is cheap and fast, but with the coupon I had for this place it would be the same price. I cave and make an appointment.
Before doing anything my barber asks what exactly we want to do, and makes sure that we have a clear game plan. He tells me exactly what he plans on doing, and shows me the best he can what the length will look like. After a quick rinse (never had this at a barber shop before) I’m in the chair. He did a great job with my hair. He took a lot of time to make sure he did it right. I’m a no fuss or muss guy (I don’t see the point in product) and he gave me a haircut that is perfect for me. When I saw his masterpiece afterwards I was blown away. I forgot what a good haircut can look like.
Growing up I always went to the barber shop in town. It was no fuss, no muss, and they always remembered you. Once I got older I switched to salons because I liked to be pampered a bit and no barber shop is going to wash your hair and really take the time to give you a styled cut. Then it got too expensive/​hard to find a decent haircutting place so I started going to wherever was cheapest.
This place though has put my faith back into putting care into my hair. They combine the luxury of a salon with the knowledge of men’s hair. No offense to salons, but I feel that you can’t really expertly cut both men and women’s hair. It is like the sign of a good restaurant; a small menu means they do a few things with expert care, a large menu means that they can do a lot but not with expertise. These guys only do men’s hair so they know how to cut it, and cut it well.
The only thing that wasn’t for me is the décor. I’m not a big sports guy, never have been. I felt a bit like I was stepping into a bro cave when I came in here. Like the level of testosterone was so insanely high that it should be dangerous. I could forgive that for this great haircut.
Despite a less then stellar first impression, I have to say I am very happy with the end result. I’ll be coming back real soon.
