Freebirds World Burrito

First time trial of Freebirds World Burrito. Heard a lot about this place. As I get to know the city of Houston more, I’m starting to realize that you are either a Chipotle or Freebirds guy.
As many have said, there are more options here (size, tortillas, and condiments). I will also say places like this that have a lot of sides lose focus and are unable to execute each side well. I was not able to try each side, but I will say that every side that in my Burrito did have descent flavor with good seasoning.
Other positive notes, the steak was grass fed. However, they did not mention whether the quality of ingredients of each ingredient like Chipotle markets.
Other issues, I wanted steak, and there was a delay in this as well as the guacomole which had me waiting and delayed. I eventually just waited for the guac and asked for the pork instead. In the many times I have been to Chipotle, this rarely happens and they are always on top of never running out of their options.
I still haven’t decided if I’m a Chiptole or Freebirds guy just yet. Time will tell.

This Freebirds is amazing! I’m always well taken care of here, and even if I’m having a bad day, I leave with a smile on my face. Love the team at this store so much

The staff was friendly and playful, ordering my meal was amusing. The food was delicious, I had a cayenne burrito with spicy dark and white meat chicken. The meat was juicy and not dry at all. The roasted corn was tender and the guacamole was prefect. I also had one of their brownies which was moist and not too heavy.
If you’re looking for good napkins though… try somewhere else. I reached into one of their napkin dispensers only to have my napkin shredded upon receipt. Try Chipotle’s napkins.

I get the burrito bowls here. I love them. The staff is really friendly, too. For a quick meal, you really can’t be disappointed.

I’m only giving 3 stars because of the friendly employees. I was not impressed at all during my 1^st and last visit today. I got the burrito bowl with chicken and pork, the meat was ok. Chicken was kinda rubbery, lettuce was less than fresh, lemons & limes on the bar looked wilted and dry but Worst of all was the corn — hard as a rock! I felt like I had pebbles in my food ew… The duck sauce was pretty good tho! I could think of way better places 2 get a burrito bowl, one of which is on center street ;)

Great food… I like the different sizes of burritos, Hybird, Freebird, Monster and the Super Monster! The sauces are good to, 10 different kinds from mild to Habanero HOT. We really enjoyed the food and great service!!! One more thing you can’t leave without a Pot Brownie. lol and Yes, that’s what there called! They are to die for!
