History

Established in 1993.

I watched my father die on Christmas eve 1985 of a heart attack. I then vowed to help others not have this happen to them. A strong nervous system is your best chance of a long happy, healthy life. Don’t check out early, get adjusted weekly!

I do old time, old fashioned, traditional chiropractic which means I take care of people. I will help everyone no matter their age, condition or financial ability to pay. If they want help I’ll do whatever it takes to make it happen.

What I have learned after giving thousands of adjustments since I started in practice in 1993 is that chiropractic is really very simple. By keeping the spine moving correctly the brain and nerve system is free of interference to do the job of healing and maintaining the body. Having a strong nerve system means having a better life. I see it happen all the time in my office.

In my spare time I am a «White Suiter» with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses and I also volunteer with the Sierra Madre Search and Rescue team.

I live in Altadena with my lovely wife Julie and two boys Peyton and Devin.

After suffering with health issues and I was getting nowhere with a number of MD’s who just kept charging me more money as I had no Medical Insurance and giving me medication without relief, my prayers for healing were answered when I came across a sign on a car advertising Unlimited Chiropractic Adjustments for $ 69.00. Luckily, I had been exposed to Chiropractic Care by a friend whose business markets for Chiropractic Practices so I was open to trying it out firsthand. Upon meeting Kyle, He was down to earth and genuinely made me feel like he cared. It has now been 4 years and counting since that first day. If you have never tried Chiropractic Care or had a bad experience with another Chiropractor, you owe it to your overall Health to visit Kyle!

In my 30+ years of experience visiting numerous chiropractors, Dr. Kyle is without a doubt the most skilled adjustor that I’ve been able to find. Many chiropractors out there are well intended healers, but not nearly as skilled at adjustments as Dr. Kyle. After living in the area for about 10 years, I finally found my way to his office about a month ago and truly wish it were sooner. I feel remarkably better after only several weeks. The office is easily accessible from Lake Ave. with ample parking. If you’re experiencing any sort of health issue and you live in the area, you owe it to yourself to drop into his office and commit to the one week trial for only $ 40 (at the time of this writing), which includes as many visits as you need. Kyle is easy going and gets you in and out of the office quickly without an appointment.

If you need regular chiropractic adjustments (and who doesn’t?), Dr. Kyle is your man. He uses muscle testing to see exactly which areas need adjusting and which don’t. I’ve very rarely had to wait more than a minute or two in the waiting room. I’m adjusted and on my way! I haven’t had neck pain or pain from TMJ since I’ve been seeing him.

Kyle is a «breath of fresh Air»
he is straight forward and doesnt try and do a con job on you
he is VERY POSITIVE, and jusst a very down to earth kind person
i had started to lose hope in the chiro world, because the others i had met were SHisters, just out for the GREEN, Kyle is not greedy, and he really is fair with
what he chargers his patients, he wants to make it so everyone can use his services

My Wife and I have been seeing Kyle Umland for about 3 months. We were both impressed with his knowledge, and how focused he is on the patient. He also has a warm personality which I find very relaxing during the treatment.
Both of us are now signed up on his monthly retainer program. This wonderful program allows us to see him for unlimited visits through out the month. We now can get worked on for preventive care within a fixed budget.
I highly recommend that you try Kyle Umland out. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve been going to Dr. Kyle for almost 2 years now and it’s been great. He fixed my posture within 2 weeks and I try to go once a week to keep my body finely tuned. Best part is I’m in and out in 5 minutes max and never need an appointment!

I have been seeing Dr. Kyle, for at least the last 5 years it might be a little longer. I started seeing him because he was referred to me by one of my clients. I’m a hairdresser and it takes a toll on my body. I see him once a week for maintance and to keep me aligned. Because of him, I feel great. He has taught me how to do some simple excersises so that my neck, sholders, and my hands don’t hurt at the end of a long hard working day. I also take my 12 year old daughter in at least 1 to 2 times a month. I truely feel because we go regularly we stay healthy, I can’t recall the last time either of us were sick. And what makes it so easy to see him, is his unlimited visits for and amazing low monthly fee.

Dr. Kyle just seems to be one of the rare doctors who JUST wants to help people.
As Chiropractic goes his adjustments are very precise, never heavy handed. He uses just enough force to get the job done and no more, a very comfortable adjustment.
His 20 dollar introductory visit is too good to pass up, most docs charge MORE for the first visit!

Dr. Kyle is very down to earth, and geniunely cares about his patients. And Dr. Chu, the jewel of this establishment, is very knowledgeable healer.
These people have done wonders for me. Do yourself a favor and stop on in!
