My new Go to salon! I can not wait to try a pedicure here! I was greeted when walking in by Ted the owner, very warm and friendly. In fact everyone working here said hello when I walked in! I got a gel manicure by Steve, #122 my new color! who not only did an awesome job, but was funny with jokes! Very very affordable, clean and new! I will be coming here from now on!

Great salon! I live in Hackensack, NJ and go all the way to Parsippany for YOLANDA! Such a sweet lady and wants the customer to be happy. She’s a perfectionist when it comes to nails and does a fabulous job! The rest of the salon staff are very friendly and nice too. Nice atmosphere, very clean and great prices! Highly recommended! :)

I am a huge fan of this place. I thought the nail place by my house was the one for me but after a while I kept seeing little mistakes here and there. I am happy to move onto better things which is this nail salon. Great location for me since it’s on my way home from work.
The review on here had me on my toes but I have not yet received nothing but the best from this place. I’ve been here now about 6 – 7 times and been happy with the result for each one. I normally get gel manicure here. Only got the pedicure once. The gel they have here lasts a full two weeks which is shocking since I am really rough with my hands and nails. They apply enough polish to make the nail strong. My nails chip and break for any little thing, but with this gel they actually stay in tact. They have so many nice colors also! Another plus here is that they use a disposable plastic liner for the pedicure stations which is so sanitary ! First time ever seeing that. I just recently got the uv gel tips which so far are wonderful. It’s been two weeks and they have not chipped or lost color yet.
The service is great. Always greeted with a Hello. Also the wait is never long. They have a good amount of staff to take care an abundant amount of people. My favorite is yolanda. She does a fantastic job.

I’ve been to this salon twice and overall had a good experience. The people working at the salon are nice and the staff is smiling and chatty that you don’t always see at other nail places. The salon looks new and clean.
Both times when I came in, the owner asked me if I wanted «just» a regular pedicure/​manicure — it made me feel a little unwelcome, but I ignored it. After reading some of the Unilocal reviews, I see that they say this to other people as well.
They use the bag for the pedi bath which I loved — I don’t have any doubts on cleanness. I also noted that they use good products and always use «quick dry» as a top coat — I had to ask for it at the other salon I was going to before.
One time they also let me stay late to finish both pedi and mani and I felt welcome to stay and wasn’t rushed out. The owner was very nice to me and let me stay and wait for the nails to dry.
One time I got the nails done really nicely and they stayed on for over a week without chipping. The other time the work wasn’t done that well — the nail polish was all over my skin, and you could see one layer on the top of the other starting a little bit off the nail so they came out a little «textured» which they shouldn’t be. Bad job! But I’m giving a benefit of doubt to the salon (maybe it’s just one person) and going back again.

I had heard about this place from a friend who had recently started going there. The nail salon is closer to both of us, so we figured why not give it a chance. Before, I was going to Nails 2000 in East Hanover. DEFINITELY WORTH THE EXTRA TEN MINUTE DRIVING TIME. I had gotten my nails done here, a gel manicure which I always get. I loved the color and the service, however, three days after getting my nails done, almost all of them had chipped.
I called and they told me to come back in and they’d fix my nails. I go in and they begin telling me that they chipped because my nails were «weak». My nails are not weak at all, they began to brace me for them chipping again. A DAY AFTER getting them redone, they chipped. I’m so fed up with this place.
I’ve gotten the same exact thing at NAILS 2000 in East Hanover, and my nails stayed beautiful for well over three weeks, no chipping at all.
Another thing that pushed my buttons was that my grandmother had visited Pretty Nails and got a gel manicure with a gel overcoat, pricing in at $ 35. $ 10 extra for the Gel overcoat that she was told would not chip or anything for at least three weeks. She got her nails done on Saturday and by Monday her nails chipped.
This place is a rip off. I wouldn’t recommend at all. As stated above, Nails 2000 has great prices and is an extra ten minute drive from this place — they take care of their customers and ensure great nails.

They are open on Sunday!!!
Clean, bright, plenty of chairs, competent staff and reasonable prices. I also like that the owners work their too.

This is the worst nail salon I have ever come by. I have spent over $ 1,000.00 having my nails done here and have given Pretty Nails the benefit of the doubt. I have lived in Parsippany for over 15 years and grew up in Montville, born and raised here. I have been getting my nails done for many years! Because they have a new store, new equipment, new everything does not mean a thing. The last five gels, pink and white’s have only lasted a week an a half.
Five dollar for this, five dollar for that. fiiiivvve dollars for this… I walked out today after a repair sooo upset after my nail lifting after a week. They have lifted and are not what good quality is. I gave Alisa, The Owner of «Pretty Nails», several chances to do my nails. Recently, today, I walked in, after a week, I had lifting going on, needed one nail replaced, and other nails looked like a 3 week mess., meanwhile, everyone that looked at my nails, couldn’t believe that I had only a week and three days from my fill. I Made an appointment with her husband 3 days ago, for a repair; When I walked in today for the repair, do you think,
Alisa, the owner, would have the respect to look at my nails, as to why I was coming in for a repair after a week? No, she walked passed me, with another customer sitting at her table. Her husband, asked, «did you have an appointment with Alisa?» I said yes, and he asked, was it «just for a repair»? Then I got moved to someone else. Alisa, didn’t even have the professional courtesy to come up to me to look at my nails, now she is my nail girl! Did she even act in a friendly manner??? No… Am I just a «stupid American Girl»?? I pay to have my nails done. To last more than a week. A little professional courtesy, as I am a steady customer, getting my nails done in this place for over a year?.. When I tell her that I have a lot of lifting, she indicates, that I have tooo much oil on my nails, walks away. Really, never an issue with oil on my nail before? Seems to easy just to tell this to customers that have been getting there nails done for many years, now all of a sudden, cause they are lifting, the nail beds have to «much oil on them??» Meanwhile, while, I made an appointment with her at 6:30, they shove me to someone else. Her husband, stands back by the sinks, where we wash our hands and is stuffing his face with food, watching it fall out of his mouth… while, we are all sitting in a professional nail salon, watching food fall out of his mouth. This place is obviously a «turn the table» routine, and does not have any regard to the clients. I have taken this time to write this Unilocal,as a professional, and very upset. I am a resident of Parsippany for over 30 years. I took my first loan out for my first car in Towaco, at 18 years old, Montville Township, worked hard in this town… I have stopped to write this, Unilocal,not because I have time on my hands. I have grown up in Parsippany, our children graduated Parsippany High School, We graduated Parsippany High School, and Montville High. Pretty Nails Owners, you have come in to our country, our town and start a business? How dare you to treat us this way. We gave you a chance into our community! Shame on you! Your salon may be new and clean, but, you do not have any professional mannerisms to conduct a business in this town. Shame on you. It only takes one bad apple to make a memory!!! We could all put this under the cover, but, a fill is over a hour to perform, and a new set of pink and white gels. full set is… approximately two half hours… and is still bad quality… this is. crazy…no wonder why you charge the prices you charge. I understand, as we know the owners of your lease, you have to «turn the tables» to pay your rent!!!
Good Luck to you, I am sure you will not last long in Parsippany doing business as you are doing it now. Shame, on you for taking advantage of the long time life time residents of Parsippany and the surrounding area.

I’m so happy to find a good nail salon by my house. I’m so used to getting pedicures in the city and the task of finding a good nail salon in my hometown was daunting. I’ve come here twice already and both times I’ve been happy with the services. The first time I purchased a Spa Pedicure ($ 45) which was great. My feet and legs were massaged for a long time and I received a spectacular pedicure which literally lasted a month. I just went again for the standard pedicure ($ 20) which was pretty much a shortened version of the Spa pedicure. I will definitely be back. I get services from Lali. She’s great!

Okay it’s really a 3.5 stars. Came here today to get a mani pedi and gel removed and what normally takes about 75 minutes to get through took over two hours.
The salon is very well kept and the owners are very nice. The only qualm I really had was how slow the nail tech that worked on me was. I appreciate the meticulousness but I just wish she could speed up her process a little.
Overall as a last minute or «I’m in the area» situation this place is great. Plus that shopping center really needs good nail salon and this one is as good as any!

I definitely recommend this place. They are clean and friendly. When 2 of my gel nails chipped within 2 days, i went back to let them know. Without appt or hesitation, they fixed them right away. I’ve been to many salons, this is a great place.

Love this place! Definitely recommend for those looking for a new nail salon. Place is clean, staff is very nice and prices are reasonable! Hands down the best service ive ever gotten!

Great place!!! Must try. Good relaxed me time with comfortable massage chairs. Must say neat and clean as well.

I’m a crazy picky, so that’s why it’s a ³⁄₅ stars. I usually go for spa atmosphere when getting pedicures because I like it quiet, and that’s the only small improvement because you can’t beat the comfortable massage chairs, detail to my nail work additional to comical satire while you sit for your service. The girls talk during the pedicures, but are paying attention to detail. It was my first time here, over heard about a spa pedicure, so I then asked about the additional service. Sales pitches aren’t always wanted, but I would have appreciated it today. So for $ 45 instead of a 20 $ pedi, it was beyond worth it. It’s conveniently located next to the shop rite & the daunting task of food shopping will be made easier now that I know a good nail place with quality service is near by.

Reading over the reviews, I decided to try it out. The moment I entered the store front, I was greeted kindly by the staff. I wanted just a regular pedicure, and he said to give him one moment. It was about a 10 minute wait before they could take me.
I found out that this salon uses linear, the clear plastic ‘bag’ that makes it clean for every customer. They are very clean, from what I see.
Then this young lady assured me that I’ll be getting my pedicure soon, so she set one of the pedicure chairs up for me with the linear. My pedicure alone was in fact very relaxing, and I can’t wait to go back again.
They cleaned my foot so well it started feeling fuzzy when I finished. The chair had a back massage and it was amazing! I asked for a design, and one of the ladies did it great!
After paying, I went outside to see that they did an excellent job on the painting. I will definitely go back, and this time make an appointment!

I am so happy that I have found this nail salon! Everyone is so friendly here! I just recently moved up north from south jersey and I was commuting back and forth to my old salon in South jersey becuase I wasnt able to find a nail salon I like until I came to Pretty Nails. My first experience was with Kevin and he was great! He took his time and gave recommendations on the design that I should get! My second visit and since then has been with Alyssa who as well takes her time and does a great job everytime! I must say that this is probably the ONLY NAIL SALON that I would allow anyone to work on my nails as they all do a spectacular job! Overall, they take care of me and make sure that I am satisified with the job that they did. They ensure that my nails and feet look good and almost everytime ensure my cuticles are cut! I actually just recommended this place to my co-​worker yesterday and she went and said it was a great recommendation that she would definately be going back! :) Thanks Pretty Nails for doing such a great job!

The best pampering! had a pedi/​mani with specific design on tips! Was accommodated without hesitation. Love the cleanliness and sanitary conditions. The only salon that I have ever seen use a plastic liner for pedis, once done it is thrown away so you know your getting a clean tub. VERY reasonably priced ! especially with the detail on each nail. I am sure weekends will be packed because the service and staff are excellent. Yolanda performed both my mani and pedi (which I like vs. the pass customer around to multiply employee environments.), she is professional, friendly, and knows her trade. No upselling pressure at all. Will definitely be going back.

So happy that I found Yolanda! She was from another salon that closed, and now she’s here! It’s a locally owned family business, and they are very friendly!

Super clean and brand new. You will feel pampered and refreshed. They were very nice. I’ll be back. Prices are fair too.

I am beyond excited to share that I’ve found the newest nail salon treasure of Parsippany. I’ve been to many nails salons between Parsippany and Manhattan and I’m excited that I’ve found my new nail makeover home.
Let me give you a little inside scoop. It is a very clean, fabulous and sleek atmosphere. Also a very kind and service oriented staff as well as no wait time. I called to make an appointment and was serviced that minute rather than having to wait like at other salons. The pricing can’t be beat, I’m a big fan of gel manicures and here it’s $ 25! They use perfect match nail colors for gel so I loved the variety of colors. For the grand opening they offered 40% so I thought why not give it a try and I couldn’t be happier. Would definitely recommend to my fellow Parsippany friends or anyone who would love to pamper themselves because this is the place to do it!
