Hyatt House Parsippany Whippany

This place is horrible and disgusting. The First few days there and i found two roaches. I asked to be moved into a newer room. Two days after that the cleaning ladies that don’t speak English broke one of my prized watches that was unreplacable. They denied to pay or have watch fixed. Then i got three flat tires because of there so called minor renovations. The General manager is a joke and is totally incompetent. The assistant manager doesn’t know what planet he’s on. The place is disgusting and they take no responsibility for there lack of experience. Save the aggrevation and stay somewhere else. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and never dealt with so many headaches from a Hyatt House. So save your money and look into any other place then this one. Trust me if i knew how to post pictures of this dump with roaches and all… i would.

Love love love this place! It’s where me and the love of my life come to escape! This hotel is so accommodating it’s incredible!!! I WILL keep coming back… it worth it!!!

Well, it was just basic compared to other HYatt house in other cities. They were generous with providing an upgraded room to us. The Room was cozy with a great quality of bed.
Noted Lack in details such as no paper cups in the room, uncleaned drawers and trash can, stinky extra blanket etc.
the breakfast was not that good, I mean way below than other hyatt. The breakfast area left unattended although there were food particles in the floor, food shelves, and tables. One of the most unclean breakfast place I have ever been…

I’m only giving this place 1 star because I was visiting the Lead East car show 1 mile away. This hotel has a complementary shuttle service … I saw the shuttle outside… I thought it was only for airport… The people at the desk knew I was going 1 mike away!!! So why did they not tell me about this complementary within 5 miles shuttle service and give me taxi cards instead!!! I wasted 60 dollars to go 1 Mile!!! I found out after the fact when reading their guest services book!!! Oh! And this happened two times check in and when leaving for the show!

3.5 stars if i could. Erica at the front desk was at first a little «off-​putting» because I had requested a room in a very quiet location, and we were assigned a room next to the elevator. She said there was nothing else available, though I had booked way in advance. But as we waiting for the room in the pretty courtyard, one opened up that was actually a 2 room suite. We lucked out. The room was great. The mattress was exceedingly comfortable. I like that they have black out curtains. I love it that the windows opened. The sofa was large and comfortable — with a neat lounger section attached.
When the heat came on in the chilly evening, it was noisy and filled the room with an unpleasant odor. So, we shut if off and hoped for the best.
The kitchen is well equipped. They even had a wine bottle opener.
There were 3 TVs in the suite– ridiculous!
The shower worked well — no problems. Pressure was good and there was plenty of hot H2o. The room was clean… perhaps not Super clean, but adequate.
The pool was not yet open, but it was quite a nice sized pool compared to M. Courtyard for example. There is no smoking allowed in their pool area– hurrah.
People are disgusting and inconsiderate, so there is some noise in the hallway and worse, litter in the wooded area behind the hotel between the parking lot and lake. What a shame.
The breakfast was better than we expected… with plenty to choose from. No waffles, but eggs, French Toast, sausage, potatoes, FRESH grapefruit, decent looking bagels, yogurt etc etc. The coffee is Seattle’s Best and quite good. For the terrific rate we got with AAA, I really can’t complain.
It is very tricky to find with GPS… be forewarned. We got lost returning at night and I called the hotel, and the sweetest guy working the front desk stayed on the phone with me, guiding us back. ‘Wish I could remember his name for Kudos. Oh, and Erica turned out to be very nice and offered us each a complimentary beverage and snack form their snack bar… with a great selection. We enjoyed our stay. The location worked very well for us, and is off 287 from the North. ‘Lots of great restaurants close by. Just do your research on Unilocal! We would return.

No bar, no restaurant other than their free breakfast and happy hour crap, no dining within walking distance, hot tub is closed in the winter? Isn’t that when you want the hot tub? Heater works too well and can’t get cooler so slept with the window cracked at 7 degrees outside.

Super nice room with fully equipped kitchen, oversized couch and great layout! Service was great! Definitely staying here again.

It’s your basic Hyatt Place. Staff was good. Breakfast was fine. Room was uninspiring but OK. No surprises.

Ive unfortunately had to stay at this hotel on 3 occasions for work training and EVERY time I have had a bug problem. In all different rooms. Saw my first ever roach in nj in the kitchen, killed about 5 ants this morning, and most repulsive, there were bugs on my bed last time. Im not a jerk and I really like to give places the benefit of the doubt but this hotel is repulsive. The staff is friendly and helpful but somethings gotta give here.

Great Hotel with great meals (for free and in room service).
Had to stay overnight for a business trip in Parsipanny, NJ and it looked liked the best one in the area. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised. Didn’t have a horrible check in (which happens when your company books your travel arrangements) and went straight up to the room.
The room was huge, forunately my company booked me a extended stay double suite so I had two bedrooms, living room, FULL kitchen and two bathrooms. Flat screen TVs and comfortable lights made it a great stay. They also have complimentary grocery shoppers that will take your list and money and fully stock your fridge. Great deal when you don’t have any transportation or know where any grocery store is.
One of the most comfortable hotels I have stayed in on the companies dime.
