Bob Gillingham Ford

Took my car in for service, service took longer than expected. In the waiting room a man came over and asked us (my wife and I) if he could do anything to help us, we asked him to check on the time it would take for our car to be finished, he came back a said it was going to take longer than expected. He insisted on taking us to lunch and then to a chocolate store near the dealership to buy some candy, all this was at his expense. It turned out the man was Bob Gillingham. He made what started out as a miserable day into a very pleasant experience.

This was my 3^rd new car from them and it was a great experience. They gave me a good trade in, and everything was hassle free.

Absolutely the best. Bob Gillingham walks around to talk and offer assistance. I would highly recommend Pete Galioto or Michael Travagliante. Superb knowledge and you get the absolute best service.

Wow I can not say enough great things about this place and the people who work there! Even tho the actual repair took awhile (had to wait on a part) everyone was so nice and more than accommodating! They gave us a ride to a hotel. let us borrow a car the next day so we could go grab lunch. They complimented my children’s behavior and gave them candy. Kept me informed. The dealership was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

Poor slow service in at 7:00 a.m. out at 9:35 a.m. for oil change and tire rotation. I noticed car sitting outside for 10 minutes before I had to go ask if I can pay my bill and leave. You lost me as a customer, when I gave you my car was told no more then a hour, 2.5 hours is unacceptable. Nice job service department.

I was traveling over the holidays with my family when my car broke down. I had my ford excursion there and they first charged my 625.00 do diagnose why it would not start. Then proceeded to tell e it needed a oil pump and it was going to be 3800.00!!! I called three other dealerships and they all said the book they use shows that job at 700.00 plus parts… Another 1000.00. So it was1800.00. Tis place down rot tried to rip, e off and I am sure they do this to others. I would get your estimate from them then call liberty ford or someone else. These guys will screw you once they have your car there, it was worth it to have my car towed from there to another dealer, You have been warned…

My ’11 Mustang threw a low tire pressure code and sure enough a tire was a bit off. Topped it but the code remained so I called Bob Gillingham Ford yesterday to check it out… NO SOONER that I pull into the lot today… the code goes away!!! Even my car loves to ‘eff with me!!!
Well she’s hot so I let her eff with me every now and again!!!
LOL!!!
But while at the dealership for the few minutes they asked to check everything I believe Mr. Gillingham himself asked if anyone wanted lunch, his treat!
I thanked him for his graciousness but I was out in like 10 minutes and wouldn’t be there when he returned…

RUDE!
I was in a good mood when I called to ask a question because my insurance company told me to go to them for my repair, but I wasn’t sure which department I needed. I started to describe the issue and the receptionist condescendingly said «you need the service department, but he’s on the phone right now. Call back in ten minutes *click*» She HUNG UP on me before I could even get out the word «ok», which was going to be followed by a «thank you». A receptionist that hangs up on people? She doesn’t deserve her job.
Then, I called back later, only to find out she didn’t tell me the right department to begin with… so I get transferred to the body shop. I prefaced my question by stating that I had my car damaged, needed some work and was inquiring on how long it would take because I need a car rental while mine was in the shop. Before I could even say what the work to be done was, the $^@%* on the other end says with an attitude, «Well that’s a very unfair question. I don’t even know what’s wrong with your car[…]» He was less of a &^%$ after he shut up long enough for me to continue where I left off to describe what the issue was, but too little too late.
Thanks to their «stellar» service, I will NEVER take a car there and I advise you do the same. People this condescending and rude don’t deserve your money.
