Junz has been a great addition to the community of Parker; we needed high quality sushi with great service!

I love this place! I’ve been there twice and everytime my food and service was top notch. They even made Charashi which is not on the lunch menu. It was the best Charashi I had south of Denver, I recommend it. Fresh sashimi and the plating was done professionally.

Been going here since they opened in Parker. Jun is the man! I put these guys right up there with Sushi Den and others as far as the freshness of the fish, selections on the menu and the preparation. I used to be in here a couple of times a month and at least that for take out but it is now more like 5 – 6 times per year just due to travel. I think the service has gone downhill a bit but the food is still excellent. If you haven’t done so, you have to try some of the selections off the menu. Jun is a trained french chef and the entrees and menu appetizers show it. The calamari is a highlight and so is the escargot. As far as the sushi goes, ask for the fresh wasabi as most places don’t serve it and if you haven’t tried it, you should.

Overall I was not super impressed by this place. When arriving, we were asked if we were here for sushi and told we could sit at the bar. We kinda were, but I preferred a table for me and my daughter. After being asked again if it was just sushi we came for and again us saying yes, I could tell they kinda were hesitant, but showed us to a table still right away. After about 30 mins I could see why tho. This place fills up fast! Once seated, and seeing the full menu, we actually opted to do 2 appetizers and 2 small plates… And 3 rolls(yeah I know, we’re pigs) to share. The appetizers of calamari and Japanese wings came out super quick! The calamari had great flavor, although there were some chewy pieces. The wings were just fried chicken wings like you can get anywhere, so that was a bit disappointing. Next came out our small plates, again super quick! The pancetta wrapped scallops were amazing. The broth they are served in was out of this world. They were cooked perfectly. We also had the pepper shrimp that was also good. I was kinda happy we ended up ordering a lot… Cause these were pretty small dishes between 2. They were all priced fairly at $ 8-$ 10, but most likely because you are getting 3 scallops, 3 wings, 6 medium size shrimp(not large or jumbo) and the calamari was also a size to be shared between 2. I was also drinking one of the best cocktails I ever had in my life… A French martini… If we would have stopped right now I would easily give this place 4 stars. Service and food wise. But we had to push the limit and get sushi… I’m going to be real fair now and say I let me 12 year old daughter pick the rolls, and she’s not that daring yet. She ordered a rainbow roll, caterpillar, and your basic avocado roll. Based off these I was not impressed at all. #1 almost every piece we picked up fell apart. #2 the rainbow and the caterpillar had your basic fake crab mayo filling. It was really nothing special. Now, there was a wait for the sushi, maybe 30 mins, from our last plate served(an hour from order maybe?). I honestly didn’t mind it tho cause we had so much already. But just be prepared, they get super busy. One day, I will be back with my husband and we will give the sushi another try.

Consistently good and probably the best restaurant in Parker. Just go if you are in the mood for quality sushi.

Great sushi. Freshest fish in the area. Rolls are creative and tasty. Prices are more than fair for this caliber of sushi. A little noisy, though.

A little bit pricey, but we came on a Friday night and left more wholesomely satisfied than most sushi restaurants could give. They didn’t have the Escargot but we decides on some fried oysters. Recommended to all!!! Could not believe how tasty they were. Since were sitting at the bar, we got a complimentary seaweed salad that was incredible. I’ve had a lot of seaweed salad but they outdid them with ease. Not sure if it was the quality or the small amount of dressing that was on it but by golly gee it was great. I’d give this place an additional star but our waiter was hard to find, so gotta knock off one(wish I could just do a half star because the place really is delishhh)

GREAT sushi, but very poor service. It was a Friday at lunch and there were only a few other people in the restaurant, so we should have had awesome service. Especially because we wanted to order more food and drinks.

I don’t know even if I would call this a sushi restaurant. She handed use two menus, wine menu, and a folded up piece of yellow paper. No writing was on it. We asked to see the sushi menu and she pointed to it, unfortunately it was under the win menu. They have about 10 — 12 rolls. A couple of them were good. Maybe we should have set at the bar, got better service, I don’t know. We had been there once before, but it was a long time ago with about 15 people. We won’t be returning to this one.

Another great sushi find in the Denver area. If you find yourself in southern Denver this is a must for sushi fans. I sat at the bar with a couple of people, so our service was great and timely, but I cannot say anything about table seating. You MUST try the calamari while you are there — excellent! The sushi is also wonderful as well. My favorite part of Junz is the fresh wasabi — don’t forget to ask! If you are a wine fan — they serve wine in deep glasses as well. Overall, the service was perfect, the sushi is great, and the décor is very interesting.

We went based on the Unilocal reviews but it was only«meh» at best… the sushi was actually good, but the low rating comes because everything else was poor(raw oysters didn’t taste fresh and were covered with so much sauce that you could barely tell it was oyster, chicken kabob was mostly fat and not edible, the elk was so overcooked it was like jerky, and the tuna tartar wasn’t great). The waitress was sweet, but clearly inexperienced — she was trying so hard to be responsive when we first sat down that she came over every 30 seconds asking if we were ready to order(someone please train her to come by at a more reasonable pace — and watch for queues that your customer is ready — like putting down their menus) and then when we left lots of food uneaten, she didn’t ask how it was or if there was an issue — just said she’d bring a box. She needs to be trained to check in with her customer to open the feedback loop and make corrections. Really bummed because we hoped to like this place… oh well, we’ll keep going to an awesome sushi place in Highlands Ranch if we don’t feel like driving into Denver.

Really disappointing 1st experience last night. The waiter was rude, seemed like he was in too much of a hurry to stick around and answer some basic questions about the menu. We started with a couple orders of sashimi. The waitstaff returned to tell me that it would be an hour for the halibut sashimi so I opted for the red snapper instead. The sashimi was good at best, the red snapper had a taste of reaching the end of its shelf life. We ordered a duck springroll. Although the duck was cooked and tasted nice, it probably would have been better with the accompanied garlic sauce that we didn’t receive. For entrees, my date ordered the Halibut and I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass. The Halibut was delicious, but I cannot say the same for the Chilean Sea Bass. The Sea Bass was tasteless and was supposed to be topped with a lobster bouillabaisse sauce; that sauce was nowhere to be found. On to dessert… My date wanted the Chocolate Crème Brûlée and I opted for the tiramisu. Once again our waitstaff returned to inform my date that the Chocolate Crème Brûlée was not available. The tiramisu was just average…

I love this place. The people are nice and of course the sushi is good. Im rating 4 stars because the rolls could be wrapped a bit tighter. I must say this is the only place I go that has great sushi that falls apart. Oh yeah… don’t forget, fresh Wasabi !!!

We ordered drinks, salad, sushi and tempura. Everything tasted SO good. However, the service was bad. Other tables(with a different server) seemed to be receiving timely service, so this review shouldn’t reflect the entire wait staff. The entire pace of our meal was slow. The initial ordering, drinks, food delivery, check drop off and processing took forever. If I return, I would probably just get take out.
