History
Established in 1983.
Heaven’s Best, started in 1983 by Cody Howard, is an international carpet cleaning company based out of Rexburg, Idaho. The reason we started Heaven’s Best is because we saw a need for a different type of carpet cleaning, one that wouldn’t take days or even hours to dry. Unlike most carpet cleaning processes, which are done through water-extraction, Heaven’s Best uses a special technique that allows for faster drying times.
Since 1983, we have been continually growing. There are currently over 2,500 cities where a Heaven’s Best operator can be found working. We also have multiple locations in Canada and England.
Our customers love how fast the carpet dries and that we leave their floors feeling soft and smelling great.
Meet the Business Owner
Steven B.
Business Owner
I certainly did not plan on owning a Heaven’s Best carpet cleaning franchise, but I am now thrilled to be running my own company. I spent a total of 9 years in the US Army (both active duty and reserve) right out of high school. While I was in the reserves I started working on my college education and became a bartender for the next 7 years while getting my degree. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan and have lived in Maryland, Texas, Ohio and Tennessee. In 1994, with less than a $ 1000 dollars to my name and all my belongings in the back of an Isuzu Amigo I landed in Colorado. In 1998 I met my wife Lori, then finally finished my degree in 2004 (I hold a BS in Management and Human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene University) and finally got a «real job» in Corporate America. Over the next 13 years I worked for DirecTV, Verizon Wireless and Qwest in various sales management roles. I live with my wife Lori, 2 year old son Sean, a dog and a cat in Parker, Colorado.
