We moved into our house in 2008 and the former homeowners left us all of the receipts from the work that they had done on the house for the past 20 years. First Rate had installed the heating and a/​c in the house 10 years ago. We called them when the a/​c started blowing hot air. The service technician was the one that installed the original system and even remembered the former homeowners. He sprayed some sort of sealant in the system and the a/​c was good to go. It says something about the quality of a company that emplys excellent technicians for so long.

Joe and Theresa were great! My AC was down and they were the only company that could make it to my house that day. Everyone else was book 2 – 3 weeks out.
After trouble shooting my problem we decided to purchase a new unit. Joe installed it on a Saturday at no extra charge, he also cleaned and inspected our furnace for us.
Great small company and very fair pricing!

After receiving quotes from a handful of other companies, most with dedicated sales teams, I called First Rate Heating and Air. The owner, Joe, came out himself and spent a good amount of time understanding our system, home, and our objectives. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and honest and he offered a good value proposition, even w/​o Xcel rebates, so we moved forward with First Rate. As promised, they did a great job and Joe was there during the entire installation through cleanup. Two months later, in the heat of summer, the system is working great and I am so glad we choose First Rate Heating and Air.

First Rate Heating and A/​C is a top notch company with excellent customer service. Our A/​C went on the fritz yesterday and Joseph Neer was at our house on the same day as my service call. He came to our house outside of normal business hours 6:30 on a Monday night. I am impressed with the company’s professionalism and dedication to its clients.
