This is literally the BEST Pharmacy in Brooklyn… seriously. The incredible service, efficiency, range of products, and ability to fill prescriptions quickly is amazing… they care about their customers, and it shows.

This is my first review. I am taking the leap because this Park Slope pharmacy is really that special.
I can’t say enough good things about Park Chemists! They are a real neighborhood pharmacy — kind, customer service oriented, and knowledgable. The friendly pharmacists/​owners actually care about their customers, calling out a hello by name when you walk in the door. Recently, I switched health insurance and my one regular prescription suddenly had a co-​pay of $ 90 that on my previous insurance was zero! You can imagine my dismay. As I prepared mentally to shell out the money, the pharmacist announced that he found a coupon for me that brought the copay down to $ 25. I have witnessed them go above and beyond for many other customers in a variety of ways that always impresses. Beyond that, the little things count like having your refill there waiting for you automatically, no call needed! Oh, and they also have a great selection of curated health and beauty products. What’s not to love?
In a land of CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens, Park Chemists is a real gem.

I’ve lived in Park Slope for over ten years, near 7^th Avenue. Been to all the pharmacies around here due to having kids and a chronic condition… I ran into Park Chemists recently and was treated so well with getting a «hard to find» prescription medication — they had it (with two generic versions to choose from) and had it ready in less than 10 minutes! I was also given a bunch of free samples of products that I was perusing… just a nice touch. They really care and work for your business…
In my opinion, the pharmacies ratings are
1) Park Chemist — above and beyond. You’ll love them!
2) Modern Chemist — second place — also good just not as super nice/​accommodating as Park…
3) Neergaard 7^th Avenue — ok, when they’re not busy. when they are, I’ve had them look at my prescription and just say, «No.» without checking stock or anything. It was a normal, common medication — they just were too busy. I didn’t even need it that day! Getting way too big for their britches with all the neighboring pharmacies closing up. they don’t need or want your business — it’s a drag to them.
4) Neergaard 5^th Avenue — Enter at your risk! Avoid on a Saturday night. Like going to a drug dealer with all the riff raff buying single syringes and mean, gnarly pharmacists and staff… Only if your life depends on it! They overcharge too if you don’t have insurance — $ 300 for the same medication that Park Chemist charged $ 90 for!

Nicest staff imaginable. So accommodating and they have a great selection of items. I will always fill my prescription here.

The staff and pharmacists at Park Chemists go above and beyond.
This week, they helped me navigate my new health insurance over prescription coverage and giving me extremely good advice. A couple months ago, they told me about a coupon that saved me $ 30.
Plus, they have the basics, in other words, everything you’d want at a real neighborhood pharmacy.
I’m so grateful to have such a great team at Park Chemists. I was a loyal regular at Prospect Gardens Pharmacy on Union and Seventh. They shut down, and now I’m a loyal regular at Park Chemists.

This area’s paucity of quality pharmacies has been a problem for as long as I’ve lived here (18 years), with the two Neergaard locations pretty much being the only decent game in town. (And they totally knew it, hence their often outrageous prices.) Thankfully, Park Chemists has opened and in no time they have proven themselves to be a top-​notch pharmacy in every way. The selection is superb and if they don’t have what you’re looking for they will get it, the prices are very reasonable (very important in this brutal economy), and the staff is courteous, friendly, and knowledgable. I’ve been a regular customer almost since they opened and I see no reason whatsoever to take my local pharmacy needs anywhere else.

These guys are so nice! Just one of many examples of their outstanding customer service we’ve experienced: my wife came in looking for relief from brutal tooth pain and they found her a dentist (it was Sunday) and offered to drive her to his office. No way I’m going back to Duane Reade!

I already gave them five stars but I wish I could give them five more. Gary literally saves my life with his kindness and commitment to my health and wellbeing. I tell everyone I meet to come here!

This place is excellent! Great customer service AND they deliver prescriptions! This is a great addition to the neighborhood. The staff are knowledgeable and caring and the pharmacy has really convenient hours. They are very on top of their game here and willing to follow up with doctors’ offices as needed. I definitely recommend this place.

These guys are the reason why it pays to support local businesses. Consistently helpful, friendly, and attentive, the staff at Park Chemists has clearly decided that the best way to beat Duane Reade is to make people love them. Prescriptions are filled quickly and correctly and delivered with a smile. Even though I’ve moved a little further from this pharmacy, I still go back because I feel like these guys actually deserve my business. I would recommend Park Chemists to anyone who asks.

The pharmacy is run by a young couple who go out of their way to deliver the best customer service. Beyond being friendly and organized, they find us online coupons for expensive drugs, and they call my insurance to help me navigate my confusing medication plan. The store is well stocked, they deliver for free, and their employees are super nice too. It is the exact opposite customer experience to going to the larger corporate drug stores.
This store is what makes Park Slope such a great neighborhood. We go out of our way to patronize Park Chemists, and I highly recommend you do too!

I have never written a review on Unilocal before, but felt compelled to because Park Chemists is so awesome. The very first time I walked through their doors, I was greeted with cheerful smiles and a friendly and helpful staff. Every time since I’ve been just as impressed. They know people by name, ask how you/you’re child is feeling the next time they see you and anticipate your needs. If they don’t have something you need, they go out of their way to take care of you. All of my friends have the same experience and love the place just as much as I do. If only more places would run like they do. I’m not a native New Yorker, though I’ve lived here 10 years, and I have never encountered a store will such kind and warm people in the city. Do yourself a favor and don’t go anywhere else.

Amazing customer service! They know you by first name and go out of their way to make life easier when you are feeling sick.
So glad I switched over to PS chemists.

I’m on a lot of Meds right now since I’m awaiting a heart transplant.
I have lived in Brooklyn for 19 years and tried many pharmacies and this is the BEST PHARMACY!
They are top of everything and have it ready before I call. Plus they even deliver to Red hook.
BUT the greatest part of this pharmacy is that family owned and run by the kindest couple and their mother!
I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know them these last four months.
Below is the perfect example of how they treat their CUSTOMERS:
Four weeks ago I found myself stuck at home with a bad pneumonia. Around 8pm on Friday night I ran out of Tylenol and needed more to keep my fever down.
I called Park Chemist and asked if they could deliver Tylenol and told them how sick I was.
30 minutes later the OWNER of Park Chemist Gary, was outside my DOOR with a bag of Tylenol and other cold supplies he thought would help.
My son answered the door.
Gary told my son (they know I’m a single mom) if there’s ever anything we needed to please reach out to him or his wife at Park Chemist!
My teenager son talk to Gary for a little bit and thanked him.
I explained it’s hard because we don’t have family in Brooklyn, the closest was 4 hours away. I could tell my son felt relief that Gary and his family offered help.

The next day I got a wonderful text from all at Park Chemist asking how I was feeling and to please call them if I needed anything.
That’s the best part of Park Chemist, they are a family owed business and truly care about all of their customers like family!
The night that I had pneumonia he wouldn’t take payment from us.
He said pay for it when feeling better and you can come in.
I’m heading over now. I love shopping there as well. Everything they carry in the store is there because they use it and love it! I’ve discovered they have the lowest prices around for natural high end products that I use!
Ps: when you go in your never rushed or waiting long. things are very smooth and it reminds me of European Pharmacies where u go in and ask the pharmacist questions before you buy products. (A lot of the times the have testers)
I use to hate going to the pharmacy to wait and then find out they only have half the pills or prescription filled but a delivery is coming the next day which equals two pick up for the same Meds. Not here, everything SAME DAY PICK UP OR DELIVERY! Easy and simple.

BEST NEIGHBORHOOD DRUGSTORE EVER!!!
It’s places like this that make a neighborhood feel like a neighborhood. Park Chemists has the most amazingly nice and friendly owners and employees. They are nice not in the «customer is always right» kind of way. Rather, they are nice and fun in the «I enjoy my job and like contributing to the neighborhood» kind of way.
It really is hard to over-​emphasize how welcoming and friendly everyone is. On top of all this, they are dog friendly!!!
Oh, I almost forgot to mention that they are consummate professionals as well.
Please, please, please give them your business! Park Slope needs more businesses like Park Chemists.

Very friendly and helpful staff. This pharmacy is very unique with a more modern look to it.
The staff helped me look for 100% Vitamin e pills, unfortunately they didn’t have any in stock but they offered to order it for me.
They are fully stocked but if they do not have something available they will order it for you.

It is great to have a pharmacy at this location — and welcoming to have a tidy shop that is not the standard cookie cutter DMV-​like pharmacy.
I have been impressed with the service, both retail and Rx, and appreciate that my prescriptions have been refilled for me when I need them. Open until 9pm is a plus.

Absolutely fantastic pharmacy. Switched here from Duane Reade and I haven’t looked back. They communicate with my doctors whenever I need to get a prescription tweaked, and they have all my medications ready to be filled at a moment’s notice.
Duane Reade can’t even be put in the same CLASS at these guys — Park Chemists is that good.

Super friendly neighborhood pharmacy. Beats the trip to Duane reade and carries all of your toiletry needs. Even has a gift section which is an added bonus. A nice addition to the neighborhood

This pharmacy just opened a week ago. It is a local family business. They are super nice. It is definitively my new pharmacy for Park Slope.
